Saffron Rouge is a website devoted to organic beauty and aromatherapy products. They guarantee that all the products they sell are free of toxic synthetic ingredients, synthetic colors, fragrances and preservatives, and are never tested on animals.

Once you’ve subscribed, you will receive the next scheduled Inner Circle mailing and be notified when it is sent out. That is, of course, if you've gotten off the waiting list! I didn't make it in time for the March box but was happy to get in for the April box.

What You Get: 6-8 full and deluxe size all natural, organic beauty products from both well-known and up-and-coming brands. They usually charge your account between the 9th and 15th and ship within that same time frame.

I received seven items in my Inner Circle box this month. They are all unique and interesting and I'm so glad I was able to get off the waiting list in order to received it!
The background of all these photos is their gorgeous tissue paper. I know, I know! But I like the little things, too!
Red Flower ocean Moisturizing Body Lotion- This lotion uses the essential oils of cardamom, laurel leaf, eucalyptus and clove bud to provide a unique, fresh scent that is perfect for summer. It is formulated with shea butter for deep moisturizing.
Value: $26/8oz
Included Size: 3oz
Weleda Wild Rose Body Oil- Well, the marketing blurb about this product is a little fanciful so I'll give a more practical rundown. It's basically jojoba oil and sweet almond oil with some rosehip seed oil. All of this is very moisturizing and the rosehip seed oil contains provitamin A (mostly beta-carotene which is VERY good for you). Rosehip seed oil contains the acid that retinol breaks down into. So there's possible skin benefits in that region. The strange thing is that their marketing material says nothing about this and only says that it will "provoke inner relaxation, femininity and luxury." Which is completely ridiculous.
Value: $26/3.4oz
Included Size: Full Size
Lotus Wei Mists- Two blends of Lotus Wei mists are included. Mine are Inner Peace and Pure Energy. These are supposed to help you change your mood. For me, Inner Peace is automatically out because its Lavender. While I do believe that there are benefits to essential oils, you will not find me out spraying my office with these in order to "dissolve tension, quiet the mind, or stay motivated". Until there is science behind these claims, I'm going to slot them in the ridiculous column. I'm sure there are many people who will disagree with me. No one can really argue with the placebo effect, but no one knows why it works. Minds are amazing things and if spraying a mist makes you attract love... Well, more power to you. But the suggestion by this company to spray your workplace to protect yourself from other peoples stress is a little far fetched.
That said, my Pure Energy spray smells like heaven! I love citrus scents!
Value: $40/50ml
Included Size: 10ml
Value: $20
Included Size: Full Size
Inika Creme Eyeshadow in Champagne- This creme eyeshadow had an aloe vera base so it hydrates while illuminating your eyes. This is a great crease proof primer to build upon. I'm pretty excited to use this. Its a GREAT color for layering over.
Value: $35
Included Size: Full Size
Mai Couture Lavender Blotting Papers- Portable and purse friendly, these papers are easy to use and won't disturb your make up. They are infused with lavender oil which has calming aromatic properties and is also has an antiseptic benefit.
Value: $13/100papers
Included Size: Full Size
VERDICT: This box has an incredible value! I paid $25 and received over $120 of product. I'm very excited to use my Inika primer, the plum colored Vapour eyeliner. The blotting papers have to be swapped because of the lavender, along with the Inner Peace Lotus Wei mist but the Orange Lotus Wei I am keeping. I'm interesting in trying the rose oil but I think the red flower moisturizer is too highly scented for me. I love this box and I will continue to get it. They do need to start sending order confirmations or confirmations for being added on the waitlist, though.
