Memebox Naked Box #14 Review

My Memebox Naked Box #14 arrived today and I am so happy with what was in it!  Granted I knew what to expect (it *is* a Naked Box) but they had sent an email earlier saying that one of the products pictured was going to be replaced by a like item.

My Memebox!  The whole reason I bought this box was for the Re:Cipe by Nature Slowganic Cleansers!

The Cost: $23 plus shipping

What You Get: 5 full and deluxe size items which are pictured and described on the Memebox Naked Box section of their website.  Unless of course, they substitute something like they did here.

Lee Jiham Dr's Care Vita-Propolis Ampoule-15ml (full size)- This is a serum composed of 50% propolis along with vitamins and witch hazel. This propolis is a natural blend of beeswax and tree resin which provides antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. LJH Dr.’s Care Vita Propolis Ampoule smoothes, hydrates, and illuminates your skin without the stickiness. This product is dermatologist-tested and suitable for sensitive and acne prone skin.
Ingredients: Propolis extract, portulaca oleracea extract, hippophae rhamnoides fruit extract, rosa centifolia flower water, centella asiatica extract, carbomer, spirodela polyrrhiza extract.
I'm really, really excited to use this.  It has no scent and you are supposed to mix it with your moisturizer.  I just used it straight.  It's a little runny and a little goes a REALLY long way!
Value: $38

Heart Face Ultra Pore Care Sleeping Pack-20ml (deluxe sample)- This is ALSO something I'm eager to try.  The ingredients include hyaluronic acid, aloe vera gel and galactomyces ferment filtrate (a form of yeast).  Other ingredients in it are for antibacterial and antioxidant properties.  Some of those plant extracts they have in there are growing in my garden!  This is a gel/cream that you use before you go to bed and it will keep your skin hydrated while controlling excess oiliness.
Value: $6
Re:Cipe By Nature Slowganic Cleansers in Green Tea, Adlay and Lemon- 10g each (deluxe sample)- These cleansers are organic and completely natural.  If you have sensitive skin you should probably avoid the lemon because it does have citrus extract in it which can cause irritation.  It has a fluffy, almost marshmallow creme consistency.  I opened the Adlay to try and figure out what it was and it smells kind of like grass and lime at the same time.  Turns out its a grain bearing plant per Wikipedia.  When I used it, it left my skin unbelievably soft!  A little goes a long way as you massage it in so there is quite a few uses in these little tubs.
Value: $4
Here is where the variation comes in.  This was supposed to be a Dr. G Total Active BB Cream SPF50++.  As you can see, it is not.

Dr.G Perfect Pore Cover B.B. Cream SPF 30 PA++-45ml (full size)-  This is a feather light and matte finished BB cream to cover pores and acne scars.  It is excellent at controlling excess oil and has no alcohol, mineral oil or benzophenone.  It's all about pores with this.  It is pore concealing, cleaning, conditioning and contracting (according to their website).
Value: $29

Now the value for the Dr. G BB Cream we were supposed to receive was $43.  I don't mind much actually because I did not buy this box for the BB cream.  However it was one of the big ticket item for box #14 and I can see that some people would be upset by this.  Personally, I think the particular one that was sent to me is more appealing!
Apparently not everyone is getting this exact thing because the Dr.G Bling Bling Cream has been in boxes, too.

TonyMoly Lip Tint- A mini lip tint! This was my one duplicate for this box. I already have one of these and I do like it.  It *really* tints your lip.  It's a stain so it doesn't apply as perfectly as a gloss or lipstick but you can definitely do it.  It is so pigmented and its a really glorious pinky red.  More red than pink but not a hardcore red.
Value: $3

VERDICT:  I knew (basically) what I was getting so I knew I would enjoy this box.  I didn't really realize how amazing the LJH Vita-Propolis Ampoule was until I read more about it.  That is definitely going it to my regimen now.  The Heart Face Sleeping Pack has some excellent ingredients and I'm going to use it tonight to see how it makes my face feel in the morning.  The Slowganic Cleansers have been on my wishlist for ages and I can't wait to try them all.  The BB cream is probably my least favorite item but I *am* looking for the perfect BB cream.  This is affordable and easily acquired if I do decide I like it.  This box was worth over $70 and I paid $30 (including the shipping) for it.  I love it!
