Ipsy June 2014 Review

Ipsy always arrives in its signature, super-shiny, extra pink bubble mailer envelope.

I wonder if the mailman knows what's in them?

Ipsy is a subscription box (okay, bag) that sends you beauty and make up samples every month.  You can really count on Ipsy to deliver fun make-up items, too.  Every month!

The Cost: $10/month

What You Get: At least five beauty products, sent each month in a re-usable make up bag.

I was really happy with my bag this month.  Actually, Ipsy hasn't disappointed me yet.  There's always something fun and I find I use most of the things I get.  Plus, I love getting the little bags. This one is by Rebecca Minkoff and is very tropically feeling.

NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee-  This was the very first spoiler sent out.  I'm really happy with this gloss.  I love glosses and this is a very sheer nude.  It does have a hint of stickiness but it's barely noticeable.

Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray- Spray and scrunch for beachy, tousled waves.  It smells delicious like coconut and vanilla.  I needed a lot of spray to get the beach effect but my hair is pretty long.

Be A Bombshell Lash Out Mascara-  I never say no to mascara.  I need it desperately all the time.  Really.  I shouldn't ever leave the house without it.  I haven't tried this one yet since it will have to go in rotation with some others.  I need to use up my NYX Are you DeprEYEved mascara that I got in one of my Blush Mystery boxes.  I really like that one.
Ofra Eyebrow Pencil-  This is your basic eyebrow pencil.  I personally won't use it because I've found my holy grail of eyebrow pencils and its Clinique Super Fine Liner for Brows.  Love it.

RealTree Eau de Parfum For Her-  This actually smells very good.  It reminds me of a fragrance I can't think of the name for.  Maybe some kind of Calvin Klein.  It reminds me of high school somehow.  I do like it, it's a nice refreshing scent.

VERDICT:  Ipsy has done so well by me with the bags I've received.  Far better than Birchbox, I have to admit.  It's funny because I thought I would love Birchbox way more than Ipsy but that just hasn't happened.  I actually really enjoy getting little make-up bits each month from Ipsy.  For $10, it really can't be beat!  I think I will never be able to give up my Ipsy bags.

If you would like to sign up for Ipsy, I would love it if you used my referral code!  I highly recommend signing up as soon as possible.  You won't be charged until your bag ships but it is better to get on the waitlist now, than wait til later.  Sometimes they announce ways to skip the waitlist but none are running right now.

    1. If you restart, do you get stuck on the waitlist again? I've been wondering about how that works.
