Glossybox September 2014 Harper's Bazaar Collaboration Plus 20% off Coupon Code

My September 2014 Glossybox is here!  In my opinion Glossybox consistently contains some of the best products from the best brands.  This particular box was a collaboration with Harper's Bazaar and it is full of absolute win!

The Cost: $21/month.

What You Get: 5 Luxury deluxe size samples from well-known and emerging beauty brands.

I'm not sure if it gets much better than this.  At least for me.  I adore Vichy products.  I got discovered and got hooked on Vichy by Glossybox way back in January.  The Vichy Aqualia Thermal was the first full size product I purchased because of a subscription box.  I ended up getting way more Vichy than just the moisturizer, too, so that marketing ploy worked.
All the brands in this box, with the exception of the Bvlgari are brands I love or have wanted to try.
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar: Metallic in Authentic-  Infused with state of the art high-resolution metallic pigments, the unparalleled opacity of Lip Tar now has a shimmer finish.
This is a frosted bronze copper shade.  Just apply the tiniest amount with the included lip brush for complete coverage either alone or mixed with other shades.
This is not actually the shade I was hoping for, I really wanted the Black Dahlia.  Hopefully I can trade for it but I've been wanting these OCC lip tars for AGES!  Thanks to Glossybox, I don't have to buy it for full price and pay shipping, I just get it delivered right to my door with a bunch of other goodies.
A little does go a long way with this and it is a shimmery beautiful color.  It does seem to go "tinty" which means it does have shimmer but zero glossiness like a tint.
I like this one and now I really want the other shade.
Value: $18
Benefit They're Real beyond Mascara- This curls, lengthens, volumizes, lifts and separates (omg, its like a bra! For your eyelashes!) lashes like no other.  Jet black and long wearing, it won't smudge or flake off.
I've been wanting to try this mascara for awhile now.  It's not that I'm a mascara snob or anything, I can like drugstore mascara.  Maybelline mades great mascara.  I have been sticking with my Clinique mascaras for years now, though.  Until I started getting subscription boxes.  Now I can save my $15 that I usually spend on that Clinique stuff and branch out.  I'm currently in the process of using up a full size Hope Girl 140 Superlash mascara that I freaking adore and will cry about when it's gone.  I prefer a natural look but I'm always willing to go dramatic if given the opportunity.
Mascara is the one thing I can't leave the house without applying so I go through it fairly quickly.
Value: $8

Essie Nail Polish in Madison Ave-hue- This is pinkalicious.  REALLY pink and sparkly, too.  I may be in my 30's but that's not going to stop me from wearing this color.  I love it.
Value: $8.50
Vichy Liftactiv Night Anti-wrinkle and Firming Care-  Like I said before, I'm kind of in love with the Vichy brand.  I've been wanting to try this night cream and the only reason I haven't already purchased it is because it's been too hot to wear it.  This is a nighttime repair cream with rhamnose and vitamin C.  It offers 24 hour hydration and skin tone improvement.
The only thing I don't like is that it is in a jar.  However, its a small jar so it will be used up before bacteria can grow a colony.  Actually, I just remember I got some spoons to use with my jar moisturizers so I don't have to stick my finger in there anymore.
This is also a nice deluxe sample with a half ounce of product!
Value: $15

Bvlgari Eau Parfumee au the Blanc Conditioner- This hair conditioner boasts a rich formula that contains extracts of rice and cotton (what?!), leaving hair soft and lightly scented with the Bvlgari's calming Eau de Parfumee au the blanc fragrance.
I like good smelling hair, I'm not going to lie and this does smell light and perfect.  I just don't use conditioner much.  Maybe I should use this.  Although I'm not sure I want people trailing after me to sniff the awesomeness that will be my hair with this scent in it.
Value: $6

VERDICT: Another Glossybox of awesomeness!  Over $50 worth of things I love and want to try all in one box.  I'm consistently impressed with Glossybox and every time I think I want to cancel, I see the spoilers and stay subscribed.

If you would like to get a Glossybox of your own, you can get this exact box (although you may get color variations in the OCC Lip Tar and the Essie nail polish).

Sign up here!  If you sign up for a 3, 6 or 12 months subscription, you can get 20% off with code: FALL14.  It's only good till tomorrow (9/26) so you'll have to make up your mind pretty quick.  This is one of the best codes Glossybox ever has so it's a good time to take advantage of it.

  1. I really like the Benefit mascara....what I didn't like was the fight to get it off each night. After buying a full size one a few months ago I don't think I will use it again. It just wasn't worth the hassle. I am using a mascara by smashbox now that I love! It was at Ulta last month as a beauty steal for $10.

    1. Ah, now that is definitely a negative for me. I hate it when mascara is hard to remove! They just built an Ulta next to me! I had never been to the actual store (just online). That place is DANGEROUS!!
