Memebox Moisture Surge Review- Mists, Masks and Moisturizers!

 Memebox Review
I know I always say this about all my Memeboxes (not that it isn't true) but I could hardly wait for this particular Memebox to get here.  When I saw Memebox Moisture Surge up for sale, I snagged it immediately.  I wanted mists, moisturizers and masks (oh, my!) and I am so happy to have gotten them ALL!

This box was $23 and is currently sold out.  You never know when they might do a restock, though.

Here's the Memeblurb about Moisture Surge:

Dry, flaky skin sucks almost as much as breakouts and oily skin! Whether you're dealing with an all-over moisture problem or battling just a few annoying dry patches, this Moisture Surge Box will cure all, even during the harshest fall and winter months! This box will lock in moisture for a dewy and supple complexion , and fortify the skin's moisture barrier for all day hydration!
I was definitely the MOST excited about the Original Raw Deluxe Kit but once everything was unpacked and opened, it alllll looks good!
Original Raw Black Bubble-  This is an all natural cleanser that makes lots of little bubbles when applied onto your skin.  I applied to my dry skin and waited.  It comes out black but turns into a light gray foam.  It really does bubble.  Then you're supposed to massage it into your face and rinse with warm water.
This is amazing!  I mean, it should be in an OMG box or something.  It really does foam up.  It does take a lot of rinsing to get it off and it has a pretty strong soap smell but it's definitely an adventure to use.

Original Raw Chan-mool Patting Essence-  I have been wanting a patting essence ever since I first heard about them.  This is supposed to be used in place of a toner and instead of rubbing it into your skin, you pat it in.  It's get a jelly like texture so it's thick, not watery like I was expecting.  It's slightly sticky at the finish but is quite moisturizing.  The scent is light and not unpleasant.

Original Raw Water Block Black Jam- This is a translucent, thick gel moisturizer.  It has hyaluronic acid in it for extra moisture and is supposed to create a barrier to keep your skin safe from the wind and other environmental effects.  It can also be used as an overnight pack.
It's very thick and is slightly blue-black colored.  Not black like the Bubble stuff because it's still see-through but it has a slight tint.  It is very moisturizing and sinks into my skin beautifully.  It does leave a bit of stickiness, though.
Dermahouse Aloe Vera Moisture Mist-120ml- This is a nice big bottle of aloe vera mist.  Spray whenever and wherever necessary for a soothing and replenishing effect.  Aloe Vera is perfect for soothing your skin after sun and while the sun is basically gone around here, when sunburns happen, aloe mists are the best because you don't actually have to touch your skin to apply the aloe.  I do believe there are other ingredients in this because there is an herbal scent to this.
Wish Formula Premium Ampoule Mask- Only one of these masks and I already wish there were ten. This mask is for combating wrinkles, moisturizing and keeping your skin supple and radiant.
I wish that was true because I want supple, radiant skin!  This has an English ingredient list and is packed with hyaluronic acid, peptides of all kinds and several ferment filtrates!  Which all means moist, supple, radiant skin!  Peptides for cellular support, hyaluronic acid for plumping moisture and ferment filtrates to reduce redness and soothe skin.  Now you see why I want ten more?

Imface Vio-Xellose Neck Patch- It's a neck mask!  For wrinkly, saggly (I just made that word up) necks!  It's got adenosine, vitamin E, snail secretion Filtrate and a bunch of plant-based antioxidants in it.  While the ingredients aren't as good as the Wish Formula mask, this is still fun because... Neck Mask! That makes me laugh.  I'm totally going to use it, too.
Insobeau Hiaromax Vitamin Stick-10g- Swipe this along the driest areas of your face, eyes, lips and cheeks for an instantly hydrated finish.  Rich with vitamins and hyaluronic acid, this will cool, soothe and plump your face.
This is SO interesting.  I was going to just dismiss it as a funny smelling chapstick type thing (even though it's about the size of four stuck together) and then I used it.  Very interesting.  It's like chapstick but when you apply it...  It's almost like it turns to water.  I'm thinking that could be the effect of the hyaluronic acid (which you know I love).  And it actually does moisturize!  I thought it wouldn't work at all but I was wrong.  I used it on my clean, dry cheeks and they were instantly soft and moisturized.  Um...  I might need another one of these.  I want one for my purse.  I want one to take on planes.  I wish I could see the ingredients in English so I could figure out why this is so great.
RoseMoon Rich 53% Collagen Smart Balm-50-ml- This is a nourishing facial cream for deeply hydrating the skin and strengthening your skin's cellular functions.  Get soft, moist, and well-protected skin.  Use as the last stage in your skin care routine.
I haven't opened this because I seriously have fifty thousand face creams open right now.  I'm skeptical of these claims because there's no scientific evidence that collagen can be absorbed by the skin.  Even at its smallest, the chain is too large to penetrate far enough into the dermis to be effective.  There is, however, some evidence that eating your collagen (like a vitamin) does help your skin.  So if you want collagen, get it in an edible form.

VERDICT:  This box was everything I hoped it would be and more.  I got masks.  I got a mist.  I got moisturizers!  I got a patting essence and a vitamin stick that I totally turned up my nose at until it was amazing.  I love that Memebox included the entire set of Original Raw skincare.  I'm hoping the Step by Step Skincare does the same thing.  I can't wait to find out what's in that box, too.  Maybe I love skincare too much?
Nah!
Love this box and I do recommend it if comes back up for restock.  It's a good price at $23 plus shipping.  I do wish that multiples of the masks were included, though.  It's always better to get more than one.

If you'd like to see more about Memebox, head to their website.  If you want a recommendation on where to start, I first recommend getting a Memebox Global.  Currently, #18 is on sale.  That won't ship for awhile, though, so in the meantime, I'm also recommending Luckybox #10 and Yogurt Cosmetics.  I'm getting Yogurt Cosmetics and the Luckyboxes are perfect if you've never received a Memebox before.  They have items from past Global boxes in them.  I find that the Global Memeboxes and the Luckyboxes have the best record for value and variety.

    1. I have combo skin but I've discovered (hello, Lioele Waterdrop Sleeping Pack) that some moisturizers (especially the ones with hyaluronic acid) really help mitigate the oil slick my forehead can become. So far so good with the Organic Raw products, if anything I'm less oily after using them. I don't think I will use the vitamin stick on my oily parts though. I'll stick with my cheeks and lips for that. I wish I could explain how strangely the stick applies.

    2. I sooo wanted this box. The Insobeau Hiaromax Vitamin Stick looks like something that I would love to use. There is nothing quite like hyaluronic acid. I use it everywhere. Thank you for the review. :)
