Memebox Scentbox Sweet Shop Review

As part of my Memebox Scentbox bundle, I got the Sweet Shop box (as well as the Tropical Fruits and Floral).  This is the box I consider my "free" box since the bundle was labeled "Buy 2 Get 1 Free".  I think I ended up paying $9 per box which is pretty worth it.  The entire bundle was $30 plus shipping but I had points and codes.  I love points and codes!
Here are the contents of the Memebox Scentbox #6 Sweet Shop!  This box had three full size items and 2 lip masks.  Pretty good for $9, right?

Hope Girl Tinted Lip Balm in Strawberry- Okay, so I know we see a lot of Hope Girl but this is pretty cute. I can say that because I got the Strawberry pink color.  The other two colors are Peach (orange) and Cherry (red).  Plus, packaging.  Super cute.  This has shea butter, sweet almond oil and grapeseed oil for moisturizing.  It's also a tint.  I haven't tried it yet because it's SO cute I think I want to give it to my niece (My best friends daughter calls me auntie and I love it! She's 10.).

Pure Smile Choosy Lip Masks in White Pearl and Pink Pearl-  I'm wearing the White Pearl right now and it doesn't smell sweet in the slightest.  It smells like soap.  It must be in the box because of the picture on the front.  This is enriched with vitamin E, hyaluronic acid and honey.  I'm curious to see how well this works. Guess I'll know in about 20 minutes. :D
Hello Everybody Vita Berry Shampoo-220ml- This is a shampoo with ten berry complexes that cleanse and repair damage with out stripping hair.  I received this in a deluxe sample size in another Memebox.  I think it was Hair and Body 2 but I could be wrong.

Anyway, I used it and I did not like it at all.  It left my hair so dried out and frizzy and I hated it.  Must be my hair.  Oh, well, other people love it and it does smell AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!

Pure Smile Jewelry Scrub Glitter Sugar Scrub in Amethyst-100ml-  At first I was wondering why this was in the Sweets box.  Then I realized that it was a *sugar* scrub so this was a great box to put it in. While Pure Smile seems to be overkill in Memeboxes currently, this product seems quite interesting.  It's made from black sugar, shea butter, jojoba seed oil and diamond powder extracts for skin cleaning and smoothness.

This is a body scrub and there were several "flavors".  Amethyst isn't even on the list so it's obviously incomplete but the choices are: Diamond, Ruby, Topaz, Emerald and Sapphire.
Also the Memebox website says its a face scrub but the information card says that its for your body.  Based on the pictures on the tube itself, I'm going with body scrub NOT face.

VERDICT: Included in this Memebox was a body scrub, a shampoo, 2 lip masks and a lip tint make up product. Pretty good for a $15 box (I paid $9- that's like $2.25 a product).  I also think that these boxes might be better than the last ones.  At least they didn't have deodorant wipes in them.  And there were no duplicate products across the boxes.
That was a slight issue last time, I know.

If you want to see what else Memebox has to offer, you can check them out here.  I also have a Memebox Deals page full of deals and coupons (although September codes have not come out yet), as well as the latest releases.  You c

  1. Maybe the delicious-smelling shampoo could be used as hand wash? Or something? That scrub sounds kind of nice but the packaging is wonderfully confusing. Why is it called amethyst? Is it purple?! Mysteries.

    1. Mysteries, indeed! I believe it is called Amethyst because there is "ground up amethyst extract" in it. I'm not sure I know what that means....

  2. STRAWBERRY LIP BALM! I looove strawberry! I was hoping I'd get that one but I got the cherry one instead. I'm not a fan of cherry scents so I didn't even open it to see the cute packaging. I got the body scrub in ruby and at first I was wondering, Why do they have a jewelry cleaner in a Memebox? *durrr* Nonetheless, as long as the red doesn't stand for cherry I'm happy with it :)

  3. So sorry the shampoo didn't work for you~ I was surprised that it turns out a little better than the floral for some people. Both aren't as good as we hoped...I think Memebox just receive and group their shipments into boxes, they aren't in the power to reject products. *sigh*
