It's Ipsy November 2014 Sneak Peek time!
Ipsy is a subscription box that sends you five beauty products each month all packed in a super cute makeup bag. It's only $10 a month which makes it hard to resist.
I'm really excited about the sneak peek for this month because I wouldn't mind getting any of them!
Tarte, Glamglow and Laura Mercier? Yes. I want them. All.
Each subscriber for the month of November will receive ONE of these products:

GlamGlow PowerMud Dual Cleanse Treatment-A mud-to-oil, gentle, deep cleansing treatment that removes the weekly buildup of dirt, oil, and makeup
Temptu Highlighter (my guess) in White Shimmer-S/B Highlighter brings a natural radiance to the complexion with colors designed to highlight and emphasize eyes, cheeks and other features. Goes on sheer, but can be layered for intensity and mixed for a customized luminous finish. Designed for versatility, S/B Highlighter can be applied by fingertips, brush or sponge.
Laura Mercier Fan Powder Brush-Specifically designed to be used with the Invisible Loose Setting Powder, this brush lightly sweeps setting powder onto skin to help create a soft focus effect, diminishing the look of fine lines and imperfections while visibly smoothing skin.
Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder (my guess)-One invisible formula that works for all skin tones, from light to deep. This powder contains unique light-reflecting, micro-refined spherical silica powders that help create a soft-focus appearance, diminishing the look of fine lines and imperfections while visibly smoothing skin.
Tarte Pure Marajuca Oil-Rich in essential fatty acids known to recharge and replenish skin, maracuja oil helps deliver an overall rejuvenated and even-toned complexion while giving the appearance of brighter skin thanks to a high dose of vitamin C. This powerful anti-aging elixir provides instant hydration—quenching dry skin with no greasy or filmy feel.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream-This legendary, award-winning cream calms, protects and hydrates skin for up to eight hours. Also shapes brows, restores shine, and smoothes cuticles.
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye-An award winning anti-aging, treatment concealer that delivers highly pigmented perfect coverage, anti-aging technology to help treat the appearance of lines, wrinkles and discoloration, conceal dark circles, age spots and redness, conceal facial imperfections without settling into lines and wrinkles; and helps to diffuse the appearance of wrinkles instantly.
What do I want most out of this list? The Laura Mercier Setting Powder and/or the Fan Brush!
How about you?
If you would like to sign up for Ipsy, you can do that here. They do have a wait list and you won't be charged until you get off of it but it's best to get on the list sooner, rather than later (in my opinion).

ReplyDeleteOils, oils, oils. That's the thing now, but tell me, are they any better than a nice moisturizer? I have tried a few and I don't see any benefit. It's hard for me to believe this big push for oils is not just a gimmick by the cosmetic industry?
ReplyDeleteI definitely don't think they are better than a good moisturizer! Maybe in conjunction with a moisturizer. But it would have to be the last step in a skincare regimen (unless it's washed off and then really, what's the point?) because oil creates a natural barrier for your skin and helps prevent moisture loss. So it does have its benefits. Still, I think it's another one of those things that depends on your skin type. Not on my T-zone, that's for sure!
