Love With Food December 2014 Review- Taste the Season!

You do not know how happy I was to get my December 2014 Love with Food box!!  Actually, if you got one too then maybe you do know.  My mailman (whom I adore) came to my house THREE times today!!  I asked him what on earth was going on and he said there were so many packages to deliver that he had to go back to the depot and load up two extra times today!

Works for me because it meant I got my Love With Food box today instead of tomorrow.  And when I opened it...
Do you see all the awesomeness that arrived in my box?! Yes, I was VERY happy to get it! Whee!

The Cost: $12/month ($10 + $2 shipping)

What You Get: 8+ new snacks each month. Snacks are either organic or all-natural, GMO-free, gluten-free or free of artificial junk.
You can also feel like you're doing a good deed when you buy a Love With Food box!  For every box sold, Love With Food donates at least one meal to help end childhood hunger in America!  They work with food banks and organizations in all 50 states!  So far they've donated 250,000 meals to hungry kids in the United States.
Bali's Best Espresso Candy- Made with Sumatra coffee, get a little pick-me-up.  These are tasty and not SUPER coffee tasting which I didn't mind.  I liked them.

Liddabit Sweets Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels- I don't like Liddabit caramels.  I had the regular flavor and didn't like them.  I'm not a fan of chocolate caramels to begin with because I think adding chocolate ruins the texture.  Plus, salt again.  Liddabit doesn't have the kind of texture I like to begin with.  I like ooey, gooey and these have none of that.
It's okay, though.  I ordered some caramels from my favorite caramel place and they just shipped. You can see a review of my favorite caramels here.
Honey Acres Dark Chocolate Honey Mints- Ohhhh.  Now these!  These are delicious, decadent and just plain tasty.  Drool-worthy indeed.  Chocolatey, minty, amazing.  I ate both of these and I'm really sad there aren't more.  *checks website*
Next by Nature Dark Chocolate Coconut-  These are dark chocolate covered coconut shavings.  I didn't really like them but I think it was more because of the taste of the chocolate than the coconut.

Nocciolata Hazelnut Spread- I know I might be the minority but I don't like Nutella.  I just don't like the taste of hazelnuts.  I gave this to my husband to use on his toast when he feels like it.

Olympos Pitted Green Olives- I did not open this.  Green olives are nasty.  No one in this house will eat them.  Maybe I'll put them in someone's stocking just to gross them out. :D  Also, it was strange to find a lone olive package in the midst of such great sweet treats. haha!
Oogies Kettle Corn- So I'm not a huge lover of Kettle Corn so this is going in a stocking.  But I do have to say that I've tried Oogies popcorn before and I love it!  They have this spicy cheese kind that is SO good.  I can't find it in a regular store, though.  I have to get it at Big Lots.  It's a good thing to stock up on if you've got people over all the time.  Everyone loves the stuff.

Hannah Max Cookie Chips in Chocolate Chips-  These are all natural cookies with real ingredients.  They use a lot of brown sugar which does take some getting used to.  I like this brand and pretty much all their flavors.  The Cinnamon are especially delicious.  These are good, too.  They are very, very thin.  Like crackers, so they break easily.  Super crunchy, super sugary, super tasty.

VERDICT:  Another box of awesome snacks from Love With Food!!  I adore this subscription.  I think that if I had to cut back all my subs, this one and Popsugar would be the last to go.  Sure, I'm not going to like every single thing that I get.  In my mind that's part of the fun.  You won't know what you love or hate until you try it! :D  This box was PACKED with yummy things even if I won't go near the green olives or eat anything from Liddabit Sweets.

If you'd like to sign up for Love With Food, you can get your first box for the $2 cost of shipping with my link!
If you want to gift it, YOU SHOULD!  It makes an excellent gift (I got one for my mom for her birthday and she loved it!)!  Plus, each month, that person will love you all over again as they are reminded of your thoughtfulness and generosity. *wink*  Use code SNOWFLAKE2014 to save $10 and get a $15 soap.com giftcard.

  1. Ooh I liked the Liddabit caramels, but you're right, they do have a different type of texture. Salted caramel is one of my favorite flavors though.

I really want to try the Oogies spicy popcorn, it sounds delish!
