Memebox Global #17 Review and Coupon Codes

 memebox review Global #17
Currently Memebox #17 is available for purchase, along with a LOT of other restocks.  I received my box a few days ago and have been dragging my feet on posting it for fear of overloading everyone with Memetasticness. :)

This is a global Memebox which means it contains 4-8 full and/or deluxe sized items.  I feel that the Global boxes give a great intro into Korean beauty because they tend to have so much variation in products included.  This box is really no exception to that.
There is a nice variety of brands and types of skincare and hair care items.  There's even a make up item.  Only one, though, which makes me happy because I prefer not to get makeup.  Skincare is where it's at and why we love kbeauty so much.

Palan Crysence Home Care Pouch Set- This includes 4 shampoo and condition packet sets.  I've heard only good things about this brand and even though I usually turn up my nose at hair products, I decided to use this.  The shampoo is very thin and doesn't make much lather.  The conditioner is thicker and is... well, like conditioner!  And the results are fantastic.  My hair so soft and shiny and happy.  It didn't frizz or tie itself up in knots.  It didn't get greasy.  No.  It was glorious and I want more of this stuff.  I read somewhere that a full size is $80.  Not sure I want it that bad but if I saw it in swaps, I would go for it!
AHC Climax Water Pool Cleanser-150ml-  This is a big bottle!  I'm guessing it's kind of like Caolion's Mool Pool.  This has soda water and 22 natural ingredients (although it doesn't say what they are!  Basically, it gets all gummy on your skin and all your dead skin sticks to it as you massage it around.  Gets your pores pretty clean that way, too, I'm guessing.

Shara Shara Pink Piggy Collagen Cream-50ml- This is a nourishing, skin firming cream to help enhance skin elasticity and resilience.  It's made up of collagen, hyaluronic acid, and argan oil for moisturizing, rejuvenating and treating fine lines and wrinkles.
It's true.  Hydrolyzed collagen is the first ingredient in this.  The others are buried closer to the bottom after a LOT of plant extract antioxidants.  I may try this.  The only think stopping me is that collagen can't really be absorbed by your skin because the molecules that make it up are too large to penetrate the skin barrier.  But this will moisturize.  I just have so many already.  I know.  I have a problem... Haha!  I have enough skincare to get me through the next five years!
Shara Shara Bee-Tox Spot Cream-  I've heard good things about this so I'm happy to have received it.  I'm not too familiar with Shara Shara's skincare and I think most of the disdain for the brand comes from their make up.  So I'm being objective.  This is made with bee venom to help control excess oil and also has herbal extracts to provide antioxidant benefits and sooth troubled spots.
Bee venom is pretty low on the list but hyaluronic acid is high and so is beeswax.  I'll have fun experimenting with this to see if it works.

Dr. MJ Real Mucin Restore Sunscreen SPF45 PA+++-50g- Since sunscreen really should be worn at all times, even in the winter, this is actually a nice reminder to get your sunscreen on even if it's overcast and raining.  Just because you don't see the sun doesn't mean it's UV rays aren't bouncing off your cheeks.  Always protect your skin from sun damage.  You want to look super young?  Stay in the basement or something. I'm KIDDING! But it's true.  Consistent use will keep your skin younger and more vibrant.  It's a preventative measure everyone should be taking.
This particular sunscreen has snail mucin in it! Yay!  Hydrate and protect while encouraging production of collagen and elastin? Yes.  I'll use this for sure!  As soon as I find it anyway.  What on earth did I do with it?!  This is what happens when you have too many Memeboxes...
Cheek Room Lip Palette- It looks like there were two version of this.  I got 02 which is more plums and pinks.  The color names are very inventive: Color Lips #1, Color Lips #2, Shiny Lipstick and Lip Balm.  Hah!  I haven't used a lip palette since I was quite young so this isn't really something I will use.  I will say that the colors are pretty (especially because they aren't orange!).  The compact has a nice mirror and it's made of plastic.

VERDICT:  I think Memebox #17 has a nice variety.  There's a hair product, makeup product, cleanser, moisturizer, spot treatment, sunscreen with snail mucin and... another moisturizer.  Okay, so almost a pretty great variety.  If they'd swapped in an essence for one of the moisturizers, this box would have been gold.  I suppose normally I would complain about there being two Shara Shara products as well but I actually want to try the Bee Tox and there's really nothing wrong with the collagen cream.  My favorite thing is the Palan Crysence packets (who would of thought I'd love a foil, right?!) and the Dr. MJ sun cream.  Oh, and the Bee Tox.
I still like Global boxes.  Honestly, I think if I had to pick one box a month to get, it probably would be a global every time.  The sizes are good, there's usually more products than other types of boxes and there's always something fun.  Except that time there was tampons.  :D
