Beauteque Head to Toe "Milk" Bag Review and Coupon Code!

Beauteque is an online Asian beauty retailer.  Each month they curate a new, customizable, Head-to-Toe bag packed with seven full size products.  This month the theme is Milk!  Since I love kbeauty I was very excited to be offered a chance to review this bag.
The Head-to-Toe bags are a one time purchase; it's not a subscription. They do have a mystery aspect to it, though. You will know what three of the items are and be able to choose options like scents or colors but the other four products will remain a mystery until the bag arrives at your door.

The Cost: $25 plus shipping.  Ships Internationally to Canada and Europe, as well as the US.

What You Get: Seven full size Asian beauty products with the ability to customize according to your preferences.  This bag gives you three choices and the rest is a mystery.
Each bag comes with an info card explaining more about each product and gives instructions on how to use each one.  This is important!  Don't throw it away.  Most items have no directions in English on them and it's always good to know exactly what a product is for.
Secret Key Milk Hand Cream-50ml- Secret Key is one of my favorite brands. I have several products by them that I really enjoy.  This is a milk based hand cream that's lightweight and non-greasy.  It has a scent I don't really care for- more like soap than I like but this is a great addition to the bag.
Value: $6.50

3W Clinic Fresh Milk Sheet Mask- I love masks and they're such an easy thing to put in a bag.  I always need more.  This uses milk proteins to moisturize and soothe your skin.  I need all the hydration I can get in this dry, cold weather so this will definitely be used soon.
Value: $3
Skinfood Green Tea Milk Cleansing Foam (Fresh)- This is one of the choices you are allowed to make when you order the bag.  You can choose Green Tea or Wildberry Milk.  This Skinfood cleansing foam uses milk extracts to provide some hydration powers while washing away dirt and oil.
I have so many cleansers now but I really want to try this one so I think it will be bumped up in line just so I can try a milk product.
Value: $12

Secret Key Milk Brightening Toner- Ooohh! I am loving this!!  I love it partly because it's so interesting.  Eastern toners are not the astringent kind that we here in the West usually use and this is a perfect example of the difference.  This has a thicker consistency than any other toner I've ever used.  It's still liquidy and you need a cotton pad to apply it but it's not so watery like my usual ones. I like how smooth it makes my face feel.  It has milk proteins, pomegranate extracts, broccoli and raspberry extracts and a bunch of other antioxidant goodness.  It has no alcohol which is a relief because it's so detrimental to skin.
Value: $15
Milk Facial Sponge- This packaging is adorable!  These are gentle exfoliating sponges.  I have no idea how milk comes into play here.  I'm not really a face sponge user mostly because it's just messy. I'm lazy and don't want to have clean something extra if I don't have to.
These are fun inclusion to the bag, though, I have to admit and they fit the theme perfectly.
Value: $10
I just realized I forgot to mention the bag it all came in!  everything came in a black and white makeup bag.  It's a good size, too.  I'm guessing 12 inches long, 6 inches tall and two inches wide with a formed bottom so it sits by itself.  Everything was inside the bag when  I received it.
Skinfood Milk Creamy Nail Polish- Mine is pink but there were several colors to choose from so you can get the color you want most.  The bottle is so adorable I hardly want to open it.  It sort of reminds me of a baby bottle.  The formula is a little thin and requires two coats but it's a pretty color and I like it!
Value: $8.50

Skinfood Shea Butter Lip Care Bar in Milk- Lip balm! This is a nice balm with a vanilla scent.  It keeps my lips moisturized and soft.  It provides a nice barrier against the wind, too.  I had it on outside while I was gardening doing yard cleanup yesterday.  My lips didn't dry out while I was out in the cold because I was wearing this.
Value: $7

VERDICT:  I love this bag.  LOVE it!  I think it's got fantastic curation; the products are fun, fit the theme of the bag and there's a perfect variety.  There's face wash, a toner, hand lotion, nail polish, lip balm and a mask.  Oh, and a sponge to help you wash if you want! If you want to pamper yourself, this is the perfect bag for it.
Beauteque knows how to do it when it comes to value sets like this.  For $25 plus shipping, you'll get over $60 in products.  I think that's worth it!  I love that you get to choose some aspects of the bag but you still get the mystery thrill.

If you are interested in subscribing to a Beauteque curated bag, they have a separate website just for BB bag subscriptions.  That website is www.beautequemonthly.com and you can sign up for your monthly bag there.  You can see the January BB bag review here.

If you would like to get this Milk bag, it's only available until the end of January.  These bags are curated once a month and you can find them here on the Beauteque website.  It's a great way to get some Asian beauty, too.
If you make a purchase, make sure you use a coupon code!  Use BITSANDBOXES to get a free sheet mask added to your order.  Who doesn't need another sheet mask, amirite?!  The coupon can be used on Beauteque.com but not BeautequeMonthly.  Don't forget, they ship to Canada and Europe, too!

    1. I know! I was happy with the brands in this bag, for sure. I wish there was a Skinfood shop near me.

  2. "Food" for thought. Some people will not eat a GMO lettuce leaf which has been scientifically established to be just as safe as organic lettuce, and in some cases with fewer risks than organic, and farmed in our own country. Yet they will put product on their face from Korea with "milk" (if it is milk) not ever once inspected by the USDA or FDA.
