Memebox Tea Tree Cosmetics Review Plus Coupon Code

I've been slacking a little on this Memebox Tea Tree Cosmetics Review.  All of my "lost" boxes showed up at pretty much the same time so it felt like a Meme-deluge.  All of my counter tops were full of kbeauty products and empty packaging while I figured out what I wanted to use, to keep and to let someone else enjoy.

This Tea Tree Memebox was promoted as being the answer to oily, blemish prone skin because tea tree extract has topical antiseptic and anti-fungal properties.  It's also gentle and most skins will benefit from the addition of it to the routine.

Two of these products have managed to wiggle their way onto my "must use right away list" so I'll start with those.

Purederm Tea Tree Pore Freshner (sic)-170ml- I feel like Purederm is the kbeauty version of Neutrogena or maybe Aveeno.  It's easy to find, it's affordable and for the most part the ingredients are effective.  I really like this.  My current toner is the Ladykin Broccoli and it's almost gone.
This has tea tree extracts, witch hazel water, and sage, lemon balm, and peppermint extracts.  I use this after washing my face, pumping a small amount on a cotton round then swiping my whole face.
Value: $14.99
Tosowoong Tea Tree AC-Control Treatment Lotion-100ml- A lotion that contains 65% tea tree leaf extract and 3% tea tree extracts for alleviating red, stimulated skin while treating acne.  helps to promote a healthier, cleaner complexion.
The ingredient list isn't too bad either:
I like the peptides and galactomyces ferment filtrate.  I just noticed that there is lavender extract in here but it's in such a small amount that I didn't even notice so that's good.
This is one of the products that I'm keeping and have started using.  I think it's a little difficult to get to absorb but some massaging makes it work.  I want to see how my acne reacts but I think I need a little more time using it.
I've been distracted by the Primary Raw Soy Milk moisturizer and the LJH P.Antarctica that I've been assiduously using.
Value: $10

ProYou Tea Tree Oil-10ml- Pure Tea Tree oil that can be used by putting a drop on a cotton swab and dabbing it on troubled spots or by adding a drop to your regular moisturizer or serum.  Essential oils have a lot of uses but rarely should be used at full strength as they can be irritating.  So put a few drops in your foot bath or your body wash and enjoy.
You can also add a few drops to your face mists or in a misting bottle with water to keep bugs away. If you make soap, you can use it to get that decongestant benefit during your morning shower as well as help healing up troubled skin on your face and body.
I'm not sure how I feel about the instructions to put it on a cotton swab and dab it on your face.  I think I'd spot test that somewhere less noticeable first.  Tea Tree does have excellent anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory benefits but it's best to test first when it comes to using it straight.
Value: $5
Shara Shara Bee Tox Spot Cream-15ml- A concentrated blend of bee venom, white willow bark extracts and six herbal extracts for relieving, clarifying and controlling blemishes and excessive oil production in acne prone skin.
This is definitely to be used last or under your moisturizer because it has several oils and beeswax in it.  It's moisturizing and has some salicylic acid in it.
I have two of these now and the expire date is later this year so I need to get on it, if I'm going to start using it.  I currenly am using a Finco spot treatment that I really like so it's hard to decide if I want to switch or not.
Value: $18
DD'ell Moisture Facial Mask in Tea Tree- I think I'm going to use this tonight.  I feel like I need it. This is made with tea tree extracts and green tea extracts.  It's for moisturizing and the healing of blemishes.
Ahhh!  Why are sheet masks always so cold!?  Now that my face is frozen, I'm pretty sure I'll have no puffiness anywhere.  Gah!  This also smells DELICIOUS!  I think there's mint in there somewhere.
*Update* I used this mask and for some reason it turned my face bright red everywhere the mask touched.  I don't have any major allergies except lavender but my face HATES ginseng so it's one of those two known variable or something new.  Use with caution.
Value: $5

Purederm Tea Tree Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes-30 count- Soaked with tea tree extracts,
Vitamin E, green tea extracts and aloe vera, these will clean and sanitize your face for ultimate skin prep potential.  Okay, it doesn't really say that but it needed a little spice in it's description.
Value: $7

VERDICT: Since I wanted Tea Tree goodies, this was a good box for me.  The variety is good with makeup cleansing wipes, a toner, a lotion and a mask.  Plus a spot treatment and a bottle of tea tree oil.  My favorites are the toner and the Tosowoong Tea Tree lotion and I'm currently wearing the mask.  I can use the Tea Tree oil in my soapmaking so that's definitely useable although not everyone will feel that way.  It requires a little more work than the average product.

I can tell that I'm experiencing a little Memeoverload.  I have only one more box coming after this and I am actually a little relieved.  It's a lot of work to find room for all this stuff!  Not that I don't love what I have because I've found some really great products over the last ten months of Meme-addiction.

  1. That sheet mask broke me out horribly. I hadn't had a blemish in over a month, I used this mask and boom, zit city. Ugh. It took me forever to trace it back to this, but it's the only thing I'd done differently in my routine. For good measure it also gave me a bit of a rash on my neck.

Ironic, right? An expensive tea tree mask. Let me know if you have any reaction!

    1. Well, I can tell you right now that I did. My skin was tomato red where the mask was on it.
I washed my face and did my normal routine plus some extra hoping to combat it.
I suppose I'll find out in the morning if there's any other negative effects.
I'm glad you mentioned it and it wasn't just me but now I wonder what on earth is in it!

    2. Well geeze. I'm sorry you had a reaction too, but I'm kind of glad to be sure of what caused mine. The good news is, my bumps went away within a few days. I hope you don't break out!

    3. Well, I'm glad you commented because it really made me think about how I could try to minimize the effects since i wasn't the only one. I slathered on aloe, honey cream and my favorite SoyBio+ serum, along with my Benton Snail Bee Essence. It looked MUCH better this morning but I still used a Charcoal wash off mask to really clean out my pores. So far so good.
If you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have gone to those extra lengths so I'm glad you did! I'm really hoping I don't get those little bumps >.<

  2. The Bee Tox Spot cream expires this year?? Aiyeee! I've also been using the Finco spot the past several months and it's not even half gone yet. Not that I want more blemishes, but if I want to get to the Shara Shara before it goes bad, I better start finding more uses for the Finco. Maybe I should slather some on every single scar I can find. I wonder if it'll work on hypertrophic scars?

    1. I wish I knew what was in that Finco. I *really* like it. It works SO well on wanna-be acne :D I feel like its helping with my older scars, too, but that could just be my entire routine since I use anything if it has niacinamide in it. :D
