Sudsy Box February 2015 Review and Coupon Code

The February 2015 Sudsy Box is chock full of deliciously scented soaps and goodies.  If you're anything like me, you love soaps that smell good.  Sudsy Boxes always have very timely scents and I'm seriously in love with this Valentine's theme for February.

The Cost: $20/bi-monthly (every other month)

What You Get: You will receive three full sized 4 oz. handcrafted, luxurious soaps and a bath or body product. Soaps are blended and scented specifically for the time of the year.

Sudsy Box delivers a box of three large bars of handmade, small batch soap and a surprise every other month.  One thing I love about handmade soap is the quality of the bars and the variations in scent.  Each soapmaker has their own favorites and Heidi at Sudsy and Co. (formerly Heidi's Artisan Soaps) has an excellent talent for scent combinations and making a perfect soap bar.
In each box is an information card explaining each soap and it's contents and qualities.
Sudsy Box soaps are all natural, free from artificial colors and fragrances and contain no chemical preservatives. The natural butters and oils are combined with the healthy benefits of both herbs and essential oils. The small batch artisan methodology produces a luxurious, moisturizing bar of soap and leaves your skin feeling soft, silky and hydrated. These soaps are naturally rich in Shea and Cocoa butters, Olive Oil and Coconut oil and have the added benefit of essential oils like Lavender, Rosemary, Peppermint, Orange, Lemongrass and many others.
Sudsy & Co. Wild Rose Soap- This smells absolutely divine.  It's not a typical chemical rose scent. The oils used in this bar are all natural so it smells purely sweet and floral.  This bar also has rose petals embedded in the top for added texture and visual interest.  It's so pretty it's going to be hard to use but it smells so good I won't be able to resist.
This bar is made with Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and Castor Oil for sustained lather and moisturization.  It's a little bit of a softer soap but will lather nicely.  It is scented with Rose Essential Oil and Rosemary extract and it has Rose Kaolin Clay for soothing the skin and adding the beautiful pink color to the soap bar.
Value: $7.50
Sudsy & Co. Orange Mocha Espresso Soap- You're going to have to get this bar in order to understand how amazing it smells. Like fresh squeezed orange juice, mmm!  This bar is made with Olive Oil, Coconut oil and cocoa butter for a luxurious lather and extra moisturization.  It's scented with Orange Oil and Rosemary Extract and has coffee grounds in it for an exfoliation benefit.  This scent is irresistible.
Value: $7.00
Sudsy & Co Woodland Mint Soap- This is an invigorating blend of Peppermint and Spearmint essential oils with Rosemary Extract and Cocoa Powder.  It is probably the best minty scented bar of soap I've ever smelled.  I can't wait to use it. It smells so refreshing.  This bar is also made with Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter and Castor Oil.  That means a harder bar of soap with good lather and excellent moisturizing powers.  This is an interesting bar because it has chlorella powder in it to give a swirly effect.
Value: $6.00
Sudsy & Co. "Pamper Me" Bath Tea-  The treat this month is a bath tea!  This has Dead Sea Salts, Oatmeal, rosebuds and lavender sprigs along with Lavender Essential Oil to liven up your tub and help you relax.  Because of my lavender allergies this isn't something I will be able to use but I love the idea and will be giving this to my MIL to enjoy.
Value: $3

VERDICT: I was trying to decide which soap was my favorite and I just can't do it.  They are all so beautifully scented and so different that I cannot just pick one.  I love the soft, sweet scent of the Wild Rose, the drool-worthy Orange Mocha Espresso and the rejuvenating scent of the Woodland Mint.  They all will be used and enjoyed.
Also, I love the addition of a surprise treat.  Last time it was a lipgloss (which I loved and is almost gone) and this time it's a bath tea.  It's great to get the soap and getting a little something unexpected with the Sudsy Box is part of what makes it so much fun.

If you love handmade soaps, I think Sudsy Box is one of the best out there for value, content and quality.  If you want to try a bar or two before you get yourself a Sudsy Box, you can shop online at Sudsy and Company and try a few for yourself.  There is currently a SALE and bars are only $4.25!

Sudsy and Company is the new name for Heidi's Artisan Soaps.  They're the same great products just with a new name and logo.

If you would like to sign up to receive your own Sudsy Box, you can do that right here.  If you sign up by February 15th, you will get this exact box!  These boxes will arrive every two months to pamper and indulge your skin and nose.  If you decide to sign up, make sure you use code BOX20 to get 20% off your first box!  Your first box would be $16 and that is a deal!
