Something Snacks February 2015 Review and Coupon Code

My Something Snacks Box for February 2015 arrived very quickly!  I was anxiously awaiting it (but trying not to act like it) because I was very curious to see what would be included in relation to Valentine's Day.  No disappointment here, that's for sure!

The Cost: $13/month total

What You Get
: Each box will contain 7 new and tasty, hand selected snacks. You can expect something familiar and something more out of the ordinary.

Laiki Red Rice Crackers- I'm starting with my favorite thing.  I ate these first.  These are SO good.
Perfectly crunchy, perfectly salted, perfectly delicious.  I found these in a Love With Food box and bought more after that.  YUM!  If you ever see these, buy a bag to try.  You'll be surprised at how tasty they are.
Dolcetto Petites Chocolate Wafer Bites- Light and crispy on the outside; rich and creamy on the inside.  These are bite size wafer cookies with chocolate in the middle.  I liked them just fine.  Good enough to eat but not so good that I need to go buy more.

Off The Farm Strawberry Coconut Cashew Super Premium Food Bar-  Whew! Long name! Off The Farm makes their bars in small batches from high quality ingredients sourced from local, independent farms and orchards as much as possible.
The bars are full of premium fruits, nuts, grains and chia seeds to give you a level of nutrition comparable to supplemented bars.
I haven't eaten this yet because I can tell it's going to be super filling and I want to be hungry enough for it.

Ms Colli Cranberry White Chocolate Biscotti- I'm not a big fan of biscotti.  I like crunchy things but biscotti is apparently too crunchy for my taste.  I'm serving this to my husband for breakfast with his coffee. :D
Chocolate Classique Truffles- Original chocolate truffles with  cocoa powder dusted on them.  This package has four truffles.  Since I'm not a big fan of truffles, I'm giving these to my mom when we meet up for dinner.  She will love them, I'm sure of it.  She adores anything chocolate.  I'm more selective.

Amsterdam! Good Stroopwafels- These are imported from the Netherlands are are quite famous over there.  I'm guessing this is like our version of Pepperidge Farm cookies. Haha!  I like Milanos, the Orange ones, the best.  This is a slightly crunchy but mostly chewy cookie sandwich (but so thin it's not like a cookie sandwich because you can't see the layers) with honey in the middle.  It's... interesting.  It's the sort of thing that grows on you.
This isn't on the list but it's a chocolate rose!  How fun for Valentines Day!  It's silly, of course, but it still was fun to open up the box and see it.  I haven't unwrapped it so I don't know if it's dark or milk (I'm guessing milk) because I'm going to put it on DH's pillow and see how he reacts. Haha!

Emily's Dark Chocolate Covered Strawberries- Now these were delicious.  It's whole dried strawberries covered in a thick layer of dark chocolate.  Since the strawberries are dried, these are slightly chewy and oh, so good!

VERDICT: This was a fun snack curation for February.  A definite nod to Valentine's Day, as expected but also full of tastiness.  There's bound to be something for everyone in this box.  It's one of the things I like about Something Snacks.  There is a truly great variety included.  The goal of Something Snacks is to send something familiar and something more adventurous in each box.  I like that combination because sometimes the international snack boxes only contain things that are just too weird to enjoy.  This way I'll get to try something fun and new but also get thing I know I will like.

If you would like to sign up for Something Snacks, you can do that right here!  Their website is www.somethingsnacks.com and you can browse the site to your hearts content while you make your decision.  Use coupon code TRY3NOW to get $3 off your first box.
