Glossybox April 2015 Spoiler and New Gift with Purchase Coupon Code

 glossybox april 2015 spoiler
The first spoiler is out for the April 2015 Glossybox!  Glossybox has been pretty proactive lately on getting spoilers and full box leaks out which is nice.  There will also be a special box in two different colors!

Glossybox tends to send great brands and sizes, great skincare and more makeup than most other subscriptions I have.

The Cost: $21/month

What You Get: Five luxury deluxe sized beauty essentials, from both well-known and emerging brands, delivered to your door each month.

Here's the spoiler:

Glossybox is on Ruelala!

 glossybox deal
Rue La La has Glossybox on sale!  For $15, you can get one box or you can get six months for $95. That makes each box about $16.66 instead of $21.  If you love Glossybox, this is a deal.

I wish there was a three month option but there isn't.  Sadness!  Instead I got the one month version.

You'll be sent a voucher number which you then will input on the Glossybox website.  Which means you won't be able to use a coupon code but you may be able to activate your Ebates and get $2.75 back!

The catch with this is that you have to sign up for a Rue La La account to take advantage of their deals.  I find that they tend to have subscription box deals fairly regularly and I've even been suckered in to some of their fashion sales and home items.  Of course, that's exactly what they want you to do so I fell into their trap.  However, I did get the most beautiful Lela Rose dress and some of my favorite pieces of furniture so I'm good with it.

You've got six days to make up your mind!  Sign up here at Rue La La and the deal should show up on the first page.  If it doesn't, click the All tab and it will show up as you scroll down.

Enjoy!

Fabfitfun VIP Spring 2015 Subscription Box Review and Coupon Code

The Spring 2015 Fabfitfun VIP box is a lot of fun and while this one had a great value and lots of useful stuff, it didn't have a ridiculous "wow" factor.  Still, I'm not disappointed in it and I find I always receive things I will use or want or didn't know I couldn't live without.  Rifle Paper Co. coasters being one of those things.  Frivolous? Absolutely.  But oh so fun!
Fabfitfun VIP always includes something fitness related which I think tends to set it apart from other boxes.  Once it was a stability ball and twice now, it's been DVDs.  I don't mind that at all. Everything included is always full size, real products, not samples, and covers a wide array of catagories.  This is not a beauty box though you will find beauty related items in it.  It's much, much more than that.

The Cost: $49.99/quarterly

What You Get: The latest and greatest full size products in food, beauty and lifestyle categories with a total value of more than $200.

Petbox March 2015 Small Dog Box Review and Coupon Code

Our Petbox March 2015 contained some great stuff! Including one of the best treats we've gotten in awhile.  I bought this subscription nearly a year ago on Gilt City.  I purchased a one year sub and the value at the time was $29.99 a month.  However, after I bought it and went to check their website, I noticed they they do not have a $29.99 plan.  They have a $19.99/month and a $39.99/month (along with others both cheaper and more expensive).  I say that so you'll know that your box will not look exactly like mine.

I think during the course of the year that Petbox has gotten better.  At the beginning I was feeling a lack of variety and a sort of dubiousness over the quality but I do think they've improved.

The Cost: $9.95/month to $59.95/month.  This box review is for the Small Dog Deal Box (off Gilt City) and is valued at $29.99/month.

What You Get: In the Deal Box, you get 4-5 items.  You'll get 4-6 in the Premium box ($39.99) or 2-3 in the Deluxe Box ($19.99).  They send toys, treats. accessories and everything in between.

Bespoke Post March 2015 "Polished" Review and Coupon Code

Bespoke Post is one of the subscriptions that consistently exceeds my expectations.  Even though I know what I'm getting because I get a choice each month, when the box actually arrives I'm always so impressed by the contents, both in quality and value.  This month I chose "Polished" because it was new and because my husband has moaned many times about the state of his shoes.  While he enjoys his sweats, he can be kind of nitpicky when it comes to dressing up.  So his tie knots have to be perfect, his tie clip in perfect position, the colors all must be complementary, the creases sharp and the lines crisp.  He has a collection of shoes that he loves and even has special cedar shoe trees stuffed into his favorites.
So, you can see that there was no passing up a Bespoke Post box dealing entirely with getting the perfect shine on your shoe.  In fact, Walker already said to me "Do you know how many times I have wanted and needed a mirror shine on my shoes?! Now I can get that."  Which made me laugh, of course, but it is true.  He has lamented the fact that his tux shoes just cant get that perfect 'just bought' shine with what he usually had on hand to polish with.

The Cost: $45/month, choose your box or skip any month

What You Get: Undeniably high quality, unique items themed and curated for men's interests of all types, anything from Life, Food, Drink and Style categories.

Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2015 Review

Now, I will say that I wasn't blown away by my Spring 2015 Walmart Beauty Box.  Too many foil samples.  But for $5 it's worth the risk four times a year because you never know what you're going to get.
There were several variations for the Spring Box.  I'm not sure how many exactly but for the Winter Box I believe there were five different boxes you could get.  This is good because it means not everyone got the box I did. Hah!

The Cost: $5/quarterly

What You Get: Deluxe size products and foil samples with the occasional full size goodie.

Nina Garcia Quarterly #NGQ05 Luxe Hair Care Spoiler!

I have been anxiously awaiting this Nina Garcia #NGQ05 spoiler!  Of course, I didn't know what it was going to be but I *wanted* it!  The theme for this box has been announced as "Luxe Hair Care" and will contain both tools and product for your hair.

It has been confirmed that the #NGQ05 box will contain TEN items and will now ship in April.

Want to know what will be in it?  Read on!

Glossybox March 2015 Review and Coupon Code #Glossybox

This March 2015 Glossybox is the last in my three month subscription.  I'm actually a little bummed about that and I'm hoping for a super awesome coupon to come around that makes it so I can't resist signing up again.
Glossybox tends to send more high end deluxe and full size samples than other subscription boxes. Although now that I type that, I think I mean that mostly in regards to makeup and beauty samples since other subscription boxes focus on other things. I think they have some pretty great items most months but I think Glossybox tends to be on my "OMG-Everything-is-amazing-and-perfect-I-love-this-box" list or I'm just totally "meh" about the whole thing.

I still think its a great subscription, though.  It's one of the first ones that got me hooked on subscription boxes and the one that introduced me to to Vichy skincare (which I love).

The Cost: $21/month

What You Get: Five luxury deluxe sized beauty essentials, from both well-known and emerging brands, delivered to your door each month.

Loot Crate April 2015 Theme Reveal and Coupon Code! I'm SO excited.

loot crate april 2015 theme reveal
Loot Crate revealed their April 2015 theme today and I am BEYOND excited for it!  I think that means I've reached hysteria.  What are you when you're beyond excited, anyway? Thrilled? Yes, I am TOTALLY thrilled.  Note the use of CapsLock to denoted my excitement and thrill...ment... Whatever.

ANYWAY!  The theme is FANTASY!  Yes, boys and girls, fantasy!  And, wait for it...  collectibles from The Princess Bride are involved!  *runs around screaming*.

There will also be epic loot in the form of collectible (and wearable) items from some of everyones favorite fantasy franchises, including Game of Thrones and Dungeons & Dragons.

So get your SAVE3 coupon out and get yourself an April 2015 Loot Crate for $16.95!  You can do that right here!  I loved my March Loot Crate (you can see that review here) and I'm pretty happy about April's theme.  Obviously.  What do you think of it?

I think they should sneak something Final Fantasy related in, too.

Loot Crate March 2015 "Covert" Review and Coupon Code

I have to say that this March 2015 Loot Crate is one of the best we've received.  While I was really (really!) hoping for some No One Lives Forever paraphernalia, what they did send was pretty awesome.  Loot Crate is the first gamer subscription box that I started getting and I still think it's the best, especially for the price.  There are other gamer boxes out there that are good but they cost at least $10 more.  So I stick with Loot Crate even though I dabble with the others on the side every now and then.

The Cost: $19.95/month

What You Get: Awesome gamer/geek loot! Sometimes T-shirts (like this month!) Plenty of comment inducing collectibles to surround your computer desk with, all delivered right to your door.

Barkbox March 2015 Island Paradise Review and Free Box Offer!

Barkbox is one of my most anticipated boxes each month.  The dogs always know when it's a Barkbox and when the mailman dropped off the huge pile of boxes at our door, he knew which one was his.  Maybe he could smell the squeakers...  Or the buffalo chew.
The theme for the March 2015 Barkbox is Island Paradise and I *wish* I was enjoying an island paradise.  Actually I just got back from Las Vegas which was a lot of fun.  I still can't believe I was just in 85 degree weather and sunshine for four days!  I'm back home now and it's raining.  As usual. Hah.

The Cost:  $29/month.

What You Get: Every month you will receive a box in the mail with four or more carefully selected products and presents for your dog – anything from toys, bones and all-natural treats to hygiene products and innovative new gadgets!

Popsugar Must Have March 2015 Review and Coupon Code

The day I left for Las Vegas was the same day my Popsugar Must Have March 2015 box showed up. You might have an idea of how desperately I wished I had picked a later flight in order to be there and snap it up off the porch before we left.  No luck.  When I got back yesterday, I had ten boxes waiting for me.  Waiting to be reviewed.  And this box was one of them.

Popsugar is one of my favorite boxes because they don't just send makeup or beauty items but they also send products relating to home and fitness.  I love getting home items now because I get so much beauty in other boxes.

The Cost: $39.95

What You Get: Full size, premium products dealing with Home, Fashion, Fitness, Beauty and Food!

Little Lace Box March 2015 Review + the Perils of Expressing an Opinion

Little Lace Box is a lifestyle subscription box that caters to women who love fashion and beauty. They try to cater each box to a theme every month but since I've been subscribed that hasn't really happened.  I don't mind because I'm not huge on themes but it can be hard for those expecting something to resonate with the designated theme.
Currently, Little Lace Box is not accepting new subscribers while they get their new website and billing system under control.  I think they were hoping to be back online for April but that apparently has been moved to May.
Included in each box is an information page explaining the theme and each item included in the box. If this box looks empty it's because one item is not included in the actual box.
This box is curated by three girls who are sisters in their twenties.  I think they've been having some issues because last month they said that the box was not what they'd hoped and this month, according to the letter inside, has been dedicated to "spa day" even though the original intent was adhere to the theme surrounding "Here comes the Sun."

The Cost: $39.99/month

What You Get: Each box should have a fashion accessory for or your home. You may also find a selection of name brand and boutique brand products and discounts exclusively for the fashion maven inside every woman.

Treatsie March 2015 Box is So Full of Goodness!

Treatsie sends boxes of sweets and desserts to your mailbox every month.  They tend to send unique, small batch products from independent and small businesses so most things are totally new with every box.  The second I opened this March 2015 box, I knew it might be the best Treatsie box I've ever received.
I've received both tasty and terrible (to me) in some of my Treatsie boxes.  I don't subscribe regularly to these but that's mainly because I just can't eat that many sweets.  I'm not truly a dessert person.  I'm a salty snacks kind of girl.  That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy the occasional slab of dark chocolate, though.

The Cost: $19.95/month ($15.95 plus $4.95 shipping)

What You Get: Every month, you get a box of of amazing sweets from 3 of the best small-batch sweets vendors in the country. The vendors change every month and each box has a retail value of $20 – $25 before shipping.

Ipsy April 2015 Spoiler!

Every Ipsy subscriber will receive ONE of these the Balm Nude Dude Eyeshadows in their bag! You'll receive either Fit or Flirty in these triple-milled shadows.  You can also add water and use them as eyeliner as the website suggests.

Fit is a Satin Bronze while Flirty is a Satin Dusty Pink with Gold shimmer.  I think I would like Flirty the most but I'm pretty sure I'll be satisfied with either one, really.

Ive never used theBalm eyeshadows, though I have used their luminizer and bronzer.  I like them because they're reasonably priced.

You'll also get four other items in your April Ipsy bag but I'm feeling like this might be the most exciting spoiler for me.  Of course, it is only the first one and it's not the "official" one so who knows!

The mystery is part of the fun!  See the Official Sneak Peek #1 right here.

If you'd like to sign up for Ipsy, you can do that right here.  There does tend to be a waitlist so it's alway better to do it sooner rather than later and miss out on something else you want that comes in a bag.

Style Quarterly Spring 2015 ~ Travel Essentials for a Spring Road Trip Plus Coupon Code

Style Quarterly started out as Pashbox, a monthly scarf subscription. I subscribed and loved Pashbox and when Style Quarterly replaced it, I signed up again. I missed the first one in the switch but I didn't want to miss another.  I'm glad I did because this box might top my list of "perfect" boxes. This box is totally me and sticks to the theme with flair.
Each Style Quarterly box is centered around a theme and sends fashion and beauty related products each quarter from small and independent businesses. You won't see make up in the box but you will find fun accessories, lifestyle and bath and body products.

The Cost: $49.90/quarterly

What You Get: Once quarterly, you will receive 3-6 fashion accessories, beauty (skin care, nail care, hair care and bath + body) surprises and lifestyle products to our members doorsteps.

Ipsy March 2015 Flower Power Review

My Ipsy Glambag for March 2015 showed up as a complete surprise!  I had forgotten about it because it's taken so long to get it.  Usually it seems like I have mine by the second week of the month.  Since I had only posted two of the spoilers I didn't really know what I was getting since I hadn't been paying attention.  It's kinda fun to let that happen sometimes.

The Cost: $10/month.

What You Get: Each month, subscribers will receive a beautiful Glam Bag with deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products.

Birchbox March 2015 "Get Creative" Box Review and Coupon Code

Birchbox is a staple sample beauty box.  Rumor has it they were the first on the scene and they're still going strong.  It's not my favorite subscription box but it is affordable, gives great access to samples and the points system is second to none.  At $10 it's not hard to justify getting a little treat in the mail and once you've received a few and reviewed the items on their website, you'll have money to spend in their shop.  The Birchbox shop is seriously legit, too.  You can buy anything from Jonathan Adler coasters to Clairsonics.  If you rack up enough points, you can get these things for free!
Everything arrived in this special, extra colorful box.  Since the theme is Creativity, it makes sense to have a better-than-usual box!

The Cost: $10/month

What You Get: Five samples and sometimes full size items, including everything from makeup and skin care to non beauty essentials like candles and tea. Plus a really great points program.
Number 4 Clarifying Shampoo and Conditioner- Pfft.  More hair stuff.  I have so much of this Number 4 stuff hanging around.  Actually...  Maybe I should take this stuff to Vegas with me.  It could be better than what's in the hotel room.  Possibly.

Amika Bombshell Blowout Spray- Spray this into your damp hair before blowdrying and give yourself a "sleek yet bouncy" hairdo.  Since I just got more of my favorite Oscar Blandi Texture and Volume Spray in my Allure Sample Society, I don't need this yet.  I do love the pretty packaging, though.
Cover FX BB Gel Mattifying Anti-Blemish Treatment- This is a traditional BB cream without any shine.  Thank goodness.  I don't like the "dewy" look.  I used this today because it came in "Light" and while it was a teensy bit dark, it works pretty well.  It doesn't feel much like a gel but a little goes a long way, at least for me.  The tube is actually half empty so there's probably two good applications in the sample.  I think I liked it but I'm going to have to give it one more try before I make that decision.
Harvey Prince "Sincerely"- You can't full opt out of receiving fragrances but you can mark that you want six or less a year.  I don't like getting perfume but I make an exception for Harvey Prince.  I actually was introduced to his "Hello" by Birchbox and found I surprisingly liked it!
It's too bad this is half empty because it has a lid (!!) for the little spray vial!  Maybe I don't get out much but I thought that was awesome.  The fact that it also smells pretty good (not as good as Hello) is a plus as well.

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss in Cheeky Kiss- This is a super pretty color and I love it.  I also loved the Mirenesse Lip Stain I got in a previous Birchbox.  Except that when it says stain, it really means STAINS! I now have lip stain stains on my pillowcase. :(  Hopefully, this Cheeky Kiss doesn't have that problem but I'm not going to find out!

VERDICT:  This Birchbox was a little too hair heavy for me.  That's because I hate getting hair stuff, though.  Obviously, I shouldn't get mad at them for sending it to me because it's a sample box and sometimes you just get things you don't really want.  And it has perfume. Ew.  However, the box is redeemed by the Mirenesse and the great color it is.  I'll possibly use the Amika, too.  Because while I complain about getting hair crap in my boxes, I really probably should just start using it because my hair does need some attention.  Still.  The sizes included are great.  Large enough to be used more than once and with the Mirenesse, it's practically full size.

If you'd like to sign up for Birchbox, you can do that right here.  They are a lot of fun, I can't deny it. When you sign up, use code JILLIAN and you will get 100 points added to your Birchbox account. That's $10 to spend in their shop.  Trust me, you'll find something.  Hopefully that code is still working.

RawSpiceBar March 2015 Persian Spice Review

RawSpiceBar heads to Iran to find our spices for the month of March 2015.  Two spice blends and a pinch of Saffron are featured this month.  Recipes are included for Braised Lamb Shanks, Saffron Rice and Mast-o-khiar.
Each month RawSpiceBar will send you a collection of freshly roasted and ground spices.  They are shipped in resealable bags for those who can't get to their spices right away.  Since I cook dinner for only two, my spices tend to last longer.  You'll also receive a note explaining the area your spice blends are from, why they were chosen and how you can use them.

The Cost: $6/month (starting at $18 for a 3 month subscription).

What You Get: Receive 3-4 hand-picked, small batch, freshly ground spice blends. Each monthly spice box contains 2-3 ounces of spice blends, creating three dishes for serving 8-10. You will also receive kitchen-tested, detailed recipes and ideas for each spice blend you receive as well as a background on our monthly chef and spice blends every month.
Saffron Threads- Saffron, by weight, is one of the most expensive spices in the world.  The threads are actually the stigma of the Crocus Sativus.  Yep, its a kind of crocus and the saffron threads are the long bits that catch pollen in the center of each flower.  I actually planted some Crocus Sativus in my garden but I don't think it's hot enough.  I wanted my own saffron!  All my other crocus bloom but not the Sativus. Sadness!
Anyway, this saffron is accompanied by a recipe for Sabzi Polow with Dill and Saffron.  I think I'm going to go easy on myself and just make a plain saffron rice.
Advieh Khoresht- This spice blend is not to sweet and not too spicy and is created for stews.  It can also be stirred through rice or couscous.  This spice blend contains Organic Rose Petals, Cinnamon, Green Cardamom, Angelica, Persian Lime Powder, Coriander, Cumin and Black Peppercorns. Interesting to see Persian Lime Powder in there because its not a spice.  This is extremely fragrant and smells mostly like cinnamon to me.  I think I'm going to stir it through rice because the spice smells like that would be delicious.
The recipe using this spice blend is Braised Lamb Shanks with Advieh. Lamb is a taste I just don't enjoy. So if I make this is will be with chicken.  Most likely.
Mast-o-Khiar Herbs- For a traditional Persian dish, RawSpiceBar recommends adding this to yogurt with nuts and/or a dried fruit like cranberries for a dip.  The ingredients for this blend are Mint, Dill, Organic Rose Petals and Black Peppercorns.
Mast-o-Khiar with Rose and Mint is the recipe accompanying this spice blend.  I don't think I'll be making this because I don't like yogurt but I might do it for my husband.  We'll see what he says.

VERDICT: I love what RawSpiceBar is doing.  Receiving fresh, fragrant spices along with recipes to use them with adds a little spice (ooo!) to my life.  I do wish that this month wasn't from a place so close to India because these spice blends are quite similar to last months.  I would have preferred something completely different.  But my husband loves this style of food so he doesn't care.  Or notice, probably.  He's just happy to have tasty foods! Or maybe I'm not adventurous enough with my spices. Hm.  That's a possibility.

I should also point out that while RawSpiceBar says you'll receive 2-3oz of spices each month, this month contained only half an ounce total.  That could be because the Saffron is so expensive (and I know it's expensive, I had to buy it once) but it would have been nice to have a note to that effect.

I love that they provide recipes even though I may not use them.  There are more recipes available online, on their website, too.  I really love that the pouches are resealable because I cannot use up this much spice that fast.  Knowing they are fresh and delicious encourages me to use them, though, so we've been having some pretty flavorful dishes.  I made Chicken Tikka Masala twice already from last months shipment.

If you would like to sign up for RawSpiceBar, you can do so right here.  Subscriptions start at 3 months for $18 and go from there.  I think it's a fun way to expand your cooking horizons (or mine, at least) and I love getting freshly toasted and ground spices.

*This was sent to me for review purposes.  No compensation was received for this post and all opinions are entirely my own.

BoCandy March 2015 Review ~ Get Candy Delivered!

Bocandy is an international snack and candy subscription.  Each month you will get a box sent to your door containing goodies from all over the world.  They've recently revamped how things work and you can sign up in increments of four, six or eight months or start a month to month subscription with your first month being free.
The candies used to arrive in a mailing envelope but now they've got their own box.  This means less worrying about smushed snacks.  There's lots of chocolate in this months box. I'm not a connoisseur of international snacks and candies but I like finding new interesting one (as long as there is no seaweed involved).

The Cost: $15/month

What You Get: Six or more candies and snacks from anywhere in the world.

Boxycharm March 2015 Review ~ Lucky Charm

Normally, I'm all over my Boxycharm but the March 2015 box is a little underwhelming for me.  I think it's because I didn't love last months either.  Not that either box is bad or anything, just that they haven't be "for me." If you know what I mean.  A box can be a good box and have all the right elements but if it doesn't have things I will use it's not truly worth it.
This box definitely has the value monetarily. It has some big ticket items and the Tarte alone is worth the price of the box.  This has a great spread of products-from hair to skincare to makeup-which is wonderful.  I always love it when a box has a little of everything.  It makes it easier for someone to find something to enjoy.

The Cost: $21/month

What You Get: Full size and luxury size beauty samples of the best beauty products from popular and chic brands.  Anything from nail care and  hair products to the top skin care and cosmetics.

Stick in a Box March 2015 Beef Jerky Subscription Review + Coupon Code

Stick in a Box is a beef jerky subscription box and it's totally awesome if you're looking for something more fun and adventurous than the Oberto you see at the store.  You never know when you'll find "the one" but Stick in a Box helps you play the field until it happens.

This box contained "the one."  Or actually, in our case, probably "the third" but who's counting. Finding new delicious jerkys is definitely the beauty of this box.

The Cost: $35/month

What You Get: At least 3 bags of jerky plus sticks and slabs from both name brands, and small batch companies, in traditional and out of this world flavors.

Beauteque Beauty Classics Featuring Harlot Beauty: The Oh!Honey Bag

Just as Beauteque partnered with me for my Hydration Essentials Bag, they also collaborated with Rachel from Harlot Beauty.  Rachel's bag features honey in all it's glorious forms. You'll fall in love with these honey products, just like I did, I'm sure of it.

Rachel has been blogging for several years and while she mainly blogs about beauty, she does dabble in the subscription boxes, as well.  She also is a HUGE fan of Asian beauty products and was actually the one who got me into Memebox and my own kbeauty forays. My skin (but not my pocketbook) thanks you, Rachel!

When I heard she was going to do a Bag all about honey, I was SO excited.  Rachel really knows her stuff when it comes to Asian beauty so I  knew she would make fun, interesting and unique picks. And she did.  This Harlot Beauty Oh! Honey Bag is perfect.

The Cost: $29 plus shipping (ships to US, Canada, Europe and several others)

What You Get: What you see here with a possible variation on the sheet mask.

PetGiftBox March 2015 Small Dog Box Review Plus Coupon Code

PetGiftBox sends boxes of toys and treats to your dogs and cats.  This review is for the Small Dog box because I have two rat terriers that weigh 19lbs.  This is my third PetGiftBox and while the first one I bought didn't thrill me because the toys were way too big, these last two have been much, much better.  I can't believe how much they send in a box.  Sooo many things!
For the price, this box really can't be beat.  I don't know how they're doing it.  I like how they include the boys' names on the inside!  They also have an information card included with each box, as well. And it looks like this month's theme is basketball.  I seem to recall something about basketball being involved in March Madness.

The Cost: $17.99/month.

What You Get: Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and other great products that have been hand picked for you!

Thoughts for the Week~ A Look into My Life

I figured I should write some non-box posts so you can have an idea of what I'm like when I'm not digging through boxes.  I'm pretty normal.  I wish I had some ridiculously amazing and jet-set life but nah, I'm just like everyone else.

We will be heading to Las Vegas soon to meet up with some friends and I just know I'm going to have blog withdrawals while I'm there.  Since it's the first vacation we've had in a long time, I'm going to try really hard to not think about blogging and instead have fun.

I'm not really a gambler but I've been to Las Vegas twice and had tons of fun both times.  It seems that it usually depends on who you go with.
The first time I went with my best girlfriend and we had so much fun right up until we had to take the shuttle to the airport.  We were both hit with some incredible food poisoning which we think came from a Subway inside one of the casinos.  Not very happy.  Luckily by the time we got on the plane, I was feeling better (thanks, in part, to Immodium) but poor Rowena was in the tiny bathroom during takeoff.

The second time was for a wedding.  Our best man's dad was remarrying and it was probably the most fun I'd had in ten years.  For one, the new side of the family is full of pizzazz and personality. With a showgirl and Hollywood singer in the mix, it was non-stop fun.  Oh, and it was over New Years, too.  It was pretty wild.  I actually got pulled into someone's wedding and used as a bridesmaid.  I'm still not quite sure how that happened but it was fun and ridiculous.

This time we are staying at Ceasars Palace which is more central.  If you've got any ideas of things we should do or shouldn't miss, say so! I have literally nothing planned.

Something Snacks March 2015 Review

Something Snacks is a fairly new snack subscription that sends you a little something of everything. You will likely get something familiar, something international and something fun.  There is generally always something sweet and something savory, too, so there's a pretty good balance in each box.

The Cost: $13 total (includes shipping)

What You Get: Each box will contain 7 new and tasty, hand selected snacks. You can expect something familiar and something more out of the ordinary.

Kloverbox March 2015 Subscription Box Review and Coupon Code

Kloverbox is one of my favorite subscriptions for all natural and organic products.  One of the things I love about it is that this box is about more than beauty.  It's about helping you live a sustainable and eco-friendly life as well.  So you'll receive fun lifestyle products as well as skincare and beauty goodies.

Each box will arrive carefully packaged and with an information card to tell you about the products you're receiving and how they are made.  It will also provide you with coupons in case you fall in love with something and need more.

The Cost: $25/month

What You Get: Receive 6-8 premium products to sample, each from top brands and hand-picked by our health conscious curators in beauty, health, nutrition and home categories.

PawPals with Annie Small Dog Gift Box Subscription Review and Coupon Code

PawPals with Annie is a subscription box to help you spoil your dogs.  Since my dogs are very spoiled, it was great to be able to review this box.  If you are looking for a personalized box, this might be just what you are looking for.  Everything in the box is dog tested and Annie approved!

This review is for the small dog box.  I have two rat terriers who weigh nineteen pounds.  I know that because I just had to take them to the vet to get their renewed rabies shot.  I had two sad pups after that visit.  Poor babies.  But now they're totally fine and ready to play.
This box is different from other boxes for dogs because these are a one time purchase.  There is no auto renewing so you don't ever have to worry about cancelling.  You can purchase just one month or get a 3 or 6 month subscription if you want to keep them coming.  Once your subscription ends, you can sign up again for your preferred length.

PawPals with Annie delivers great brands and products.  You may find such brands as Kong, Nylabone, Hartz and Orijen, among others.  PawPals with Annie will want to know the size of your dog and any likes or dislikes he or she may have in order to provide you with the perfect premium all natural, well-made toys and treats.

The Cost: $32.95-$36.95 for a one month subscription.

What You Get:  At least four full size treats and/or toys, curated according to your preferences and sent with love from Florida from Annie the Scottie.

Love With Food March 2015 Deluxe Box Review Plus Free Box Offer

The Love With Food Deluxe Box for March 2015 had so many bags of snacks, I was instantly curious about what everything was when I opened the lid.  Honestly, it's kind of sad how happy I get when I see my Love With Food box.  This time my husband grabbed it off the porch and told me I needed to open it right away because he was "feeling snacky."  He knows what Love With Food is and he likes it, too.

This is actually my favorite snack box.  There's just something about the quality and the variety that sets it above all the rest.  Yes, everything is on the healthy side or organic and all natural but that doesn't mean you won't find good chocolate or hard candies in the box.  There really does tend to be a little of everything.

The Cost: This is the Deluxe Box which is $19.95/month but they also have the regular Tasting Box which is $12/month.

What You Get: 16-20 new snacks each month. Snacks are either organic or all-natural, GMO-free, gluten-free or free of artificial junk. (The regular Tasting Box has 8+ snacks)

Allure Sample Society March 2015 Review and Coupon Code

My Allure Sample Society box for March 2015 arrived today and I was so excited to dig in.  This is one of my favorite boxes because the brands are always so good.  I've been subscribed for over a year now and I think there've only two months where I considered the box a dud.  That's an amazing track record!  It's also super affordable and while there aren't usually coupons or points for reviews like Birchbox has, I still think this is a great subscription.

The Cost: $15/month

What You Get: Five deluxe-size beauty samples from a curated mix of skin, hair, and makeup products, as well as fragrance. You'll also receive $10 BeautyBar.com gift card to redeem on any $50 Beauty Bar purchase every month.

Beauteque Monthly BB Bag Asian Beauty Subscription March 2015 Review

Beauteque is a purveyor of Asian beauty and skincare products here in the US.  They have a monthly subscription bag packed with skincare and beauty items that is available to the US, Canada and Europe.  Besides having an online store filled with Asian beauty, they've also got a subscription site!

Each month you can get a bag of Asian beauty and lifestyle products sent to your door.  I find that it's reasonably priced and the products tend to be fun.  Products aren't necessarily all Asian but they are definitely the majority.  Each bag usually will include a lifestyle item of some kind, as well.

The Cost: $24/month plus shipping (Ships Internationally to Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan)

What You Get: A combination of 7 full size beauty, skincare and lifestyle products with a focus on Asian beauty.
