"For gorgeous hair on-the-go, Nina is including Shu Uemura's Art of Hair Volume Maker. The brush makes application extremely easy and gives hair that perfect bounce for spring!"
This fragrance-free, dual-purpose powder delivers fake-clean, full-bodied locks with a single click. Oil-absorbing silica silyate keeps grease at bay, while texturizing polymers adhere to the hair’s surface for invisible texture and lift."
Okay, so it's a dry shampoo that you apply with a brush applicator. Now I hate dry shampoo and this product, while the brand is awesome, gets mixed reviews. One thing I did notice was that the good reviews came from people with hair like mine-- thin, fine and flat as a pancake. I also noticed it seemed to be better off to use it as a volumizer and not as an actual dry shampoo (meaning to soak up grease).
So we will see. This product retails for around $40 and there is supposed to be nine other things. I like the brand, though, and I hope it's an indication of the quality of the other products included. I'd like to try some Wen...
And it's pushed back another month which is typically Quarterly. If you are anything on punctuality, do not order from Quarterly. They've never been on time with shipping (in my experience).
What do you think? Yay or nay? You can still cancel (or possibly still subscribe, I haven't checked) if you're not into the whole hair thing. Which, usually, you know I'm not but... Nina Garcia...
