L'OcciBox by L'Occitane Spring Collection 2015 Unboxing and Coupon Code!

I think this L'Occibox by L'Occitane thing is new. I remember seeing one during the Holidays and it must have done so well they decided to continue. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. This particular L'Occibox is the Spring 2015 Collection and contains the latest and greatest products from this French skincare and fragrance powerhouse. Lucky me, even though L'Occitane was started in France and has a million lavender products, none of them are in this box. Yay!
This is not a subscription. This is a one time purchase box. The regular price is $48 but you can get it for just $20 using the code SUGAR. Totally worth it to me, so of course I snagged one. If anything, these products are special enough to use as gifts.

Plus please look at the adorable box! I probably would have caved just for that. I'm totally keeping it and using it for something. Who doesn't love cherry blossoms? And pink? I will find a way to incorporate this in photos later on.
First up, we have the L'Occitane Savon Bonne Mere Marseille Soap. This is so prettily stamped I feel it shouldn't be used and should somehow be displayed in the powder room. It's a smaller 3.5oz bar but still quite a chunk of soap. It's valued at $7.

There was no resisting these Sugarfina Champagne Bears. They don't taste like champagne, they taste delicious! Yep. I think I ate half the little box. Which will also get used for something once the bears are gone. I'm rationing myself. They're expensive at $8 for this 3.3oz cube.
These might be the best part! After the Champagne Bears, of course. There's a 1oz Whipped Shea Butter Hand Cream. It's made with 25% shea butter and this travel size is worth $12. I'm not a big hand cream lover but my mother in law is and you know what day is coming up.

The other is a 10ml regular L'Occitane Shea Butter hand cream for dry skin. This is their best selling hand cream and is made with honey, almond extracts and coconut oil. This is a perfect size for me since I don't use hand cream all that often (but I need to, I'm trying to get into the habit). It smells kind of "old lady" to me but it's really thick and moisturizing. This is about the size of those mini travel toothpaste tubes and it has a comparative value of $3.
Yes, yes, I hate getting perfume samples but I couldn't resist something called Jasmin & Bergamote. I love both those scents so, no surprise, I liked this fragrance. It seems very grown up and businesslike to me.
This box also included a foil sample of L'Occitane Brightening Essence. I wish it was a real sample. I mean, with enough tries to find out if you like it or not. Oh, well.

The pièce de résistance is obviously the Immortelle Precious Serum. This is almost a quarter ounce of product and one ounce retails for $70! Their website boasts that it has 1000 flowers in every jar. Its lightly textured formula helps to protect and restore the skin’s luster. It's main ingredients are water, glycerin and several oils including primrose and sunflower oil. Both primrose oil and sunflower oil are occlusive moisturizers, meaning that they create a barrier over your skin to keep moisture in. Because of that, I think this is best used at night and/or last in your skincare regimen. If you have dry skin, you might love this. And the value of this tiny jar is around $17. Use it well!

VERDICT: This is a fun box and a way to experience some of L'Occitane best known products. I'm a fan of travel sized things anyway so this is pretty perfect. Plus, I get to gift one of the hand creams and I know that will make my MIL happy. So a little something for me and a little to gift around. Plus gummy bears. This is about $3 per product included and I think for $20 it's worth it. Not for the full price of $48, though!

Use code SUGAR to get your own L'OcciBox Spring Collection for $20. You can find it here. Oh, and don't forget to activate Ebates if you use it because you'll get a percentage back.

  2. Squee! Just ordered mine. I am SO thankful there's no lavender. I would have been afraid to order because of the abundance of lavender in their products if not for your review. :)

Thank you for helping me find a gorgeous little Spring gift.
