My Memebox Easter Egg Hunt Goodies Including the Golden Egg!

When Memebox announced their Mystery Easter Egg Hunt, I barely even tried to resist. It's been so long since I ordered anything that I had to do something and I went a little all out.

I received my "eggs" today and I'm actually pretty happy about what I received.  I purchased five eggs, including the Golden Egg which was $20. The other eggs were the Multi-Vertical Stripe, Pink Polka Dot, White Flower Blue and Green Dotted. That's a total of three $5 eggs, one $6 egg and then the $20 Golden Egg.

Here's what I got:

Starting with the $5 eggs, this is the So Young Stick Shadow in Deep Bronze. I definitely expected Memebox products to show up in these eggs so this doesn't surprise me. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep and use this. It's awfully dark and (shockingly?) I've never used a eyeshadow stick before.  Does anyone have opinions?
Value: $10
Another Memebox product, this time it's from a Korean Top Model winner. I received the Jungsun Back to Basics Eyeliner in Black Stiletto. I was totally going to toss this in swaps until I saw that its liquid and has a nice sharp point. This baby is miiiine. It writes like a dream. Come on, cat-eye, I know you're in there somewhere! This is from the Multi-Vertical Stripe Egg.
Value: $10
Next up is Skinfood Cherry Milk Soft Hand Essence. I think this is the $6 egg but I can't find it for sale on Memebox. Other places it's already $7 but knowing Memebox, it's possible they value it at $12. Either way, I like it. I don't love hand lotion because I always feel sticky but this is a serum for your hands! Since I've been doing yardwork like crazy the last few days, I'm going to have to crack this baby open. This is from the White Flowered Blue Egg.
Value: $7

IT'S THE GOLDEN EGG BABY! This is what I'm pretty sure is the Golden Egg product. And let me tell you, it's worth every penny of that $20 for me. Now Memebox is insane and they price this at $100 on their site. This is a Dermakey She's 2nd Aurora Skin Protection Elixir. It's... really watery. Like a toner? But it has a dropper. This has sodium hyaluronate and peptides and all the good stuff in it so I definitely want to use it. Thankfully, there is no indication of lavender and it has a nice light scent! So excited about this! It's called 2nd because it's actually the second step in their three step lineup.
Ingredients: Aquaporin-3, Sodium Hyaluronate, Y-Oryzanol, NMF, V-Peptide, Allantoin, Green Tea Extract, Golden Herb Extract, Betaine Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Glycerin

From Memebox: "This ampoule serum promotes the skin’s brightness by helping the skin look more even and fair. It gradually fades dark spots, pimple marks and helps aid hyperpigmentation with its exceptional formula mainly containing Allantoin, Sodium Hyaluronate and Green Tea Extract. Upon application, this ampoule serum immediately leaves a gleamy finish which makes the skin look plumper and firmer."

Value: $60 on the dermakey website although you can't actually buy it in the US. The only vendor for Dermakey at all in the US is actually Memebox. And they're selling it for $100! Gah!
Aww... it's a Tony Moly Bunny Gloss! In Lemon, probably? I already have two bunny glosses but I know someone who will appreciate the cute packaging. This is also from a $5 egg, I think, since the regular price is $9. And I will admit, bunny glosses are definitely appropriate for an Easter egg hunt. This is from the Pink Polka Dot Egg.
Value: $9

Also a bunch of samples from Dear by Enprani, Skin79 and a big packet of Skinfood Black Sugar Honey Wash Off Mask. I'm actually eager to try the Skin79 BB creams.

VERDICT: Well, I paid $41 and I got two pieces of makeup, one of which I will definitely use. Then I got a hand serum and a super expensive, totally wonderful skincare product which I can hardly wait to fit somewhere into my regular regimen. Plus a Tony Moly Bunny Gloss which is about as Koreanly cute as you can get. I got about $90 worth of product and I'm quite happy with what I got. It's almost like an old Memebox with the Dermakey. Seeing the brand really makes me miss the old Memeboxes. /sigh

I still have one more egg on the way. I think its the multi color polka dot one. Sadly the eggs are no longer available on the site but you can look at all the other things they have to offer here. 1. I want the old memebox, TT^TT

  2. I'm a bit jealous of that eyeliner! My Memebox egg results weren't quite so egg-cellent, har har har.

    1. I think that if I'd gotten fewer eggs and therefore only received Memebox brand stuff, I wouldn't have been very hoppy. :D
