Love With Food May 2015 Deluxe Box Review and 50% Off Offer

The Love with Food May 2015 Deluxe box was packed with goodies, as usual. The Deluxe box is pretty awesome. Extra snacks is a good thing! Even better, you can get 3 months of the Deluxe box for $26 on Groupon.

The Cost: $19.95/month but they also have the regular Tasting Box which is $12/month.

What You Get: 16-20 new snacks each month. Snacks are either organic or all-natural, GMO-free, gluten-free or free of artificial junk. (The regular Tasting Box has 8+ snacks)

Beanfields Pico de Gallo Bean and Rice Chips- These are pretty tasty. Not as tasty as the Lundberg's version but still good. And having two bags makes it easier to share.

Popchips in Barbeque- My husband loves Popchips. They aren't my favorite so I gave them to him.
GoVida- You thought that said Godiva, didn't you? No, no Godiva chocolates in this box. This is freeze dried fruit for sprinkling in your yogurt, oatmeal or mouth.

Inka Corn in Picante Chili- I like Inka corn when it's flavored and this was tasty. It was a little too spicy for me so after a few corns, I gave the rest to my husband.

Dick & Jane Baking Company Educational Snacks in Spanish- These are not good. I didn't like them before and I don't like them now. Blech.
Schar Penne Pasta- This is a pasta sample. It's gluten free and made with millet. Birds eat millet. This sample is a little too small to actually use for a meal which is a bummer. I probably won't end up using it because of that.

Montana Mex Pure Seasoning- This is awesome! It's huge! The ingredients are: New Mexico Chile, Sea Salt, Pasilla Negra Chile, Guajillo Chile, Ancho Chile, Organic Rice Hull. So... spicy. My husband has already used this on his eggs and he's planning on using it on his steak next.

HomeFree Lemon Burst Cookies- This same brand showed up in Something Snacks in the form of uber delicious chocolate chip cookies. These ones were just okay. I think I wish the lemon was more pronounced.
Bell Plantation PB Thins- These were AMAZING! Best thing in the box (although that giant spice can is pretty sweet). I ate one... ate another and then boom the bag was gone and I was digging around in the bottom, hoping for scraps.

Vintage Bee Hibiscus Creamed Honey- I love honey though I mostly just use it straight. This has hibiscus in it.

Smooze Pink Guava and Coconut Fruit Ice- I love Smooze and I would be happy to see these in every box. It's currently freezing right now so that I can enjoy it later.

Go Organics Blood Orange and Iced Mango Mint Candies- The mint was my favorite although they're both good. I think the Mint one had more flavor.

VERDICT: Not too shabby! That seasoning is going to come in handy for a long time. And BBQ season is coming up. DH just got a fresh propane tank, too. So I'm thinking chicken breast. But Love With Food is always fun. I don't always love everything but I do love something.

If you would like to sign up for Love With Food, you can do that here. You can get 50% off your first box with this link. If you'd like to get the Deluxe Box, though, I think you should get it on Groupon. Three months for $26 is a really, really good deal. Use code FUN20 to get an extra 20% off (ends today).

  1. OH, that seasoning sounds mouth watering. Drool. And the Smooze...pink guava and coconut is a new combo to me and it sounds fanstastic! And LOL at the millet pasta. I was thinking the exact same thing - 'hey, that's what I used to give my cockatiel!'
