Popsugar Must Have June 2015 Subscription Box Review and Coupon Code

Popsugar Must Have is one of my favorite boxes. The June 2015 box isn't as fun as some of them have been but it's still pretty awesome. I tend to look for spoilers since my box always comes so late but I always love the box better in person than I think I will beforehand.
Popsugar is considered a lifestyle box. That means you can find anything in this box. From socks to luxury face creams, jewelry to snack foods, the boxes are always packed with great items. I love it when they send Home items too. I really liked the Dauville bowl from the December box.

The Cost: $39.99/month.

What You Get: Full size, premium products dealing with Home, Fashion, Fitness, Beauty and Food!

In the Unlikely Event by Judy Blume- This is a fictional account of something that actually happened to Judy. Three planes crashed within weeks of each other near her hometown and led to the President changing airport regulations and zoning. I think this will be pretty interesting. I didn't really like Judy Blume as a writer of childrens/young adult books since I always felt she was pretty negative. But those books were ages ago so I'm curious about this one.
Value: $17
Quay Sunglasses in Mandate- When I first started getting subscription boxes, I had no sunglasses. I had worn glasses most of my life, which meant I could only wear prescription ones or get the ugly inserts. It was SO annoying to have to switch from sunglasses to glasses and glasses to sunglasses depending on if I was outside or inside. So I got Lasik surgery. Yep. I had my eyeballs lasered. I think I was in there for ten minutes and came out with new eyes.
Now I can wear all the sunglasses I want! So I bought two pairs and promptly lost one of them. I decided after that that I need lots of sunglasses and to just keep each one in one place. Luckily, subscription boxes saved me a lot of time. Now I have lots of sunglasses! So far my favorite pairs come from Style Quarterly, the TOMS from the Box of Style by Rachel Zoe and now these! These are my Secret Agent glasses.
Value: $45
Spongelle Boxed Flowers in Papaya Yuzu- This is so interesting! It's a sponge designed to moisturize, rejuvenate, restore the skin, from neck to toe. It gets soft when you squeeze and exfoliates while oozing out delicious smelling shower gel. And it IS delicious smelling. I think I want more of these. They came with a 30% off coupon so if you didn't get this box but you want to try this shower sponge use code POP30.
Value: $16
Snap Infusion Supercandy- These are the gummy vitamins you always wish you could eat by the handful. They aren't very sweet but they're pretty flavorful. Weird but good? I liked the green bag the best.
Value: $8 ($4ea)

Yogitoes Headband- I love this! It's blue-green and is made of cotton with a little lycra stretch. I have a hard time keeping those  little skinny bands on my head but this one works great. I love it. Popsugar says you can use it as an eyemask, too. I already wore this out gardening and it worked like a charm-- no popping off!
Value: $4
Pacifica Enlightening Eye Brightening Eye Color Palette- Rich, lasting, creaseless eye shadows are infused with coconut water for a velvety, cream-like finish. I actually haven't heard too many good things about this eyeshadow so I think I'm going to pass this along.
Value: $14
Here's the code again for the Spongelle. And the Special Extra is a $30 Gift Card to Sweet & Spark. Special Extras don't count toward the value of the box and it's a good thing because there is nothing you can buy at this online shop for $30. It looks like they sell vintage jewelry so there's only one of each item. I feel like it's stuff they scrounged from the thrift store and cleaned up then are selling for outrageous prices. I didn't really like anything that I saw but maybe I have peculiar taste.

VERDICT: I think that Popsugar Must Have is one of the boxes that I will never be able to give up. I always find some of the best things inside of them. I love the headband and the Spongelle is so fun I kind of want more. The sunglasses are perfect for the sunny weather we've been having and I think I'll lay outside in the sun and read my new Judy Blume book.
I love this box because it has such a variety of items. It's not just beauty products or samples. It's packed with full-size items I can use in my everyday life and I really enjoy that aspect.

If you would like to sign up for Popsugar MustHave, you can do that here. When you sign up, use coupon code REFER5 to get $5 off your box. Your first box will be July.  Here is the teaser for the July box:
I hope there is something stripey in the box! I'm guessing there will be some kind of sunscreen and maybe a travel pouch? The mystery is part of the fun!

What do you think of this months box? Did the sunglasses work for you?

  1. OMG, the gummies were vitamins? I ate both packs for lunch. LOL.
I have never gotten a PSHM box that I didn't REALLY like. It's the best out there. :)
Now, if Lisa Sugar would only discover and use Asian skin care, ha.

    1. I ate both of mine, too! They're not technically vitamins, they just have a lot of vitamins in them. But I always get the sour gummy multi-vitamins and am sad that you shouldn't eat more than two. So this was my chance to indulge. :D I'm sure sour gummy vitamins are for kids but it's the only way I'll take them. :D

  2. Little skinny headbands do not stay on my head either, so I love the Yogitoes! My favorite item is definitely the Quay Australia glasses.

  3. I stayed up last night and read the book. IF you have any fear of flying, please do yourself a favor and donate or sell the book unread. I'm serious. I've been in 2 near- fatal small plane crashes and am NOT afraid of flying on commercial airliners ( the type in the book) , but this book still made me feel sad and, well, to use an old word, unnerved for a bit.

I loved everything else so very much. PSMH would have to put only cooking or house cleaning supplies in a box for me to truly hate it. ( I am not the domestic goddess type- I hire them though. :))

    1. Is it depressing?! I feel like she's kind of a depressing writer from back when I was a kid (I didn't like her books). I'll end up reading it sooner or later since I'm really curious about the incidents.

I'm glad you loved the box. It's always good to hear someone who enjoyed it. I'm so excited about the July box now that I've seen the spoiler, too. Eeee!
