If you aren't subscribed to Glossybox but you've been thinking about it, here is a great opportunity for you.
New subscribers can get an extra product in their first box! You can get a full size Tarte Power Pigment in Flush or a full size Eyeko Skinny Liquid Liner.
It's a tough choice! I like both these products but I think I would go for the Eyeko liner. I like the Skinny Mini.
But Tarte... Tarte is always nice, too!!
Use code TARTEFLUSH for the Tarte Power Pigment.
Use code EYEKOEYE for the Skinny Liquid Liner.
Sign up here and pick your goodie code! You have until August 7th (or while supplies last) to make you final decision. :)

Target Beauty Box Head of the Class Unboxing and Giveaway!
Target seems to randomly put up beauty boxes once a quarter. There may be a rhyme or reason to it, but if there is I have no idea. Thanks to Bloglovin' and several of the blogs I follow, I discovered that the Target Beauty Boxes were on sale and selling fast.
So I got one! Or actually, I got two. One for me and one for one lucky reader! Woohoo! The box I picked (there were two available) is the "Head of the Class" box. I think these boxes are only $5 so you can see why they sell out so fast.
The contents of the box are:
1. Goody Ouchless Elastics
Hair ties made without metal for reduced snags and pulls. (colors may vary)
2. Bathery Pumice Stone
Dual-textured pumice stone that smoothes and refines rough skin. (colors may vary)
3. Hollywood Fashion Tape
Easy-to-use, clear double-stick apparel and body tape helps clothes stay put.
4. CoverGirl Colorlicious Lip Gloss
Lustrous, vibrant shine and rich color without the stickiness. (colors may vary- Mine is Guava)
5. wet n wild Max Volume Plus Mascara
Macadamia nut, jojoba and olive oils strengthen lashes while offering 10 times the volume.
6. Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Illuminating Dry Oil Spray
Refreshing hair oil that hydrates & seals each strand for a radiant, glossy look.
7. Yes To Cucumbers 10–Count Wipes
Hypoallergenic facial towelettes made with natural, soothing ingredients like cucumbers & aloe vera to cleanse, remove makeup and nourish your skin.
I don't know what your variations will be because I didn't open your box but I'm assuming most will be the same with the possible exception of the color of the Cover Girl Lip Gloss.
You have a chance to win this Target "Head of the Class" Beauty Box for yourself! This is sponsored by me (Bits and Boxes) and will be mailed by me. This giveaway is open to residents of the USA and Canada.
a Rafflecopter giveaway
I'm pretty excited about this giveaway because it's always fun to be able to offer something that's sold out already! And everything in the box is pretty useful. Although I have to admit, I haven't used a Wet n Wild product since I was probably 14. :D
*Void where prohibited. Please be 18 years of age or have parental permission to enter. Winner must be willing to provide full name and address in order for package to be mailed. Please enter responsibly. Winning entry will be verified. No duplicate entries. No giveaway accounts please. I will not be responsible if the prize gets lost or damaged in the mail although I will be extremely sad if that happens (so far it never has!). Rules subject to change in case I forgot something. By using the Rafflecopter widget you are also agreeing to their terms of service.

GreekPack August 2015 Snack Subscription Review and Coupon Code
GreekPack is a snack subscription that sends you snacks from Greece. Meaning that your package will arrive with Greek postage and a Thessaloniki mailing address. I think that is part of the fun. I don't tend to be super adventurous with my snacks. I prefer all the sugar and fat and not so much the strange.
However GreekPack has been a lot of fun. The July box was fantastic and had one of my new favorite things in it. Too bad I can't find them anywhere. The Chalvadopita was nomalicious.
This box didn't have a stand out but it did have a little uniqueness to it. It has both sweet and savory which is something I always appreciate in a snack box.
The Cost: $19.99/month
What You Get: You will receive six to eight carefully selected Greek treats and snacks.

OuiPlease Vol. 1.4 Review "Escape to the Riviera" Review and Coupon Code
My OuiPlease Vol 1.4 arrived today. I have been having a hard time justifying this subscription. I signed up for a year back in... February, I think. Since then, they've been having some major issues. It took me nearly three months to get replacements for my damaged and missing items from the last box.
When I signed up for my yearly subscription, it was promised that the boxes would have a $400 value. While I'm not huge on value because a lot of it is just mark-up to hit numbers, getting a box worth half of that didn't really make me too happy. especially coupled with the missing and leaking items.
This box seems much improved in most respects. It's funny because I learn a lot as I write my reviews. I spend some time researching these products and then when I get to the end, sometimes my initial impressions are vastly different than my ending verdict. So we'll see!
The Cost: $150/bi-monthly
What You Get: A unique selection of full sized French products. In addition to all of the hand-selected gifts, your parcel will include the latest issue of our own “Et Voila” magazine. Explore deliciously simple French recipes, exclusive interviews, style tips, lifestyle pieces, and discover the full range of current products that were distributed across America.

Barkbox vs PawPack July 2015 Small Dog Box Review and Comparison
I figured I'd do a comparison review of my July 2015 PawPack and Barkbox. Since I was sick, I sorta fell behind on the reviews so this will be two in one fell swoop! Yay!
First, I should say that I've been getting Barkbox for over a year now. PawPack is still fairly new, I think this is mythird second? month. My dogs are rat terriers and weigh about 17lbs. One loves toys, the other loves treats. My treat lover is allergic to chicken and my toy lover hates rubber. They're basically little people. :D
First up- PawPack!

BIRTHDAY GIFTS AREN'T EASY
My birthday is coming up and my husband looked at me and said "How do I get a gift for a girl who gets a million subscription boxes and has everything she could possibly want?"
Well, I do get a lot of subscription boxes and I don't really *need* anything. As a frivolous gift, I think I want an ice cream maker. Does anyone know a good brand/type that's easy and will work for years even if it's only twice a year?
THAT THING THAT HAPPENED WHEN I WAS 14...

Decoterie Summer 2015 Home Decor Box Review and Coupon Code
Decoterie is a new subscription box curated by Letitia Elizabeth that deals in Home Decor. Since there are very few boxes like this out there, of course I had to get one! Now that I've received the first box, I think it's not just home decor but fashion, as well.
One of the goals of this box is to send goods that are produced in the US (although not exclusively), and are made from scratch without using any materials from China or making use of child labor at any step of the creation process.
When I got the box, it was so full that the lid was popping off. That's because of the squishy and wonderful pillow that was tucked/squeezed inside. :D
The Cost: $150/quarterly
What You Get: A luxury, hand-packed box containing a selection of 2-5 items ranging from home decor, textile goods, art, decorative accessories, and exclusive collaborations with top designers known as the HERO item. Every box will be curated around a central theme and will have a retail value of at least $300.

Paper Pumpkin July 2015 "Thanks a Latte" Review
Paper Pumpkin is one of my new favorite things. I've always love being crafty and used to scrapbook in a limited fashion. I am not the type to spend copious amounts of money on paper, stamps and pretty stickers but this is waay too much fun to resist.
Part of it is because all the crappy parts are done for you. There's no hunting the perfect shade of ink to match the paper. No looking for special stamps or cutouts. No cutting hearts freehand. Nope. This is all prepped for you. Sure, you have to use glue dots (included!) to stick things together and you have to punch things out but it's nothing compared to spending hours at the fabric store or Michaels.
The Cost: $19.99/month
What You Get: Everything you need to create the perfect craft including ink and a stamp set.

Lit-Cube July 2015 "Mermaid Kisses" Review
Lit-Cube sends you books and bookish goodies every month. For a bibliophile, this could be a dream come true. I adore reading and spend a portion of every day with a book. I tend to read more science fiction/fantasy and historical steampunk type books but that's mainly because I've read all the classics way too many times. Of course, I also read regular mysteries like Sue Grafton and Elizabeth Peters but not anything scary or too suspenseful because I get nightmares.
The last Lit-Cube had a Steampunk theme and I absolutely adored it. I read the novel (it was okay) but it also came with some free downloads for other lesser known authors that I loved. Yay for finding new authors to read!
The Cost: $29.98/month
What You Get: A hand selected book accompanied by high quality literary-themed items to create a great reading experience.

Tuesday TidBits
Imgr has a section for Shower Thoughts. These are the thoughts you have while you're doing something mindless. The things that pop into your head when you're not really thinking about anything.
That's what Tuesday TidBits is for me. With maybe a mini-rant and an observation or two tossed in.
Why does it seem like all Prius drivers are slow? Seriously, just because 35mph gives you the best gas mileage on your monitor does not mean you should drive like that when the last four speed limit signs have said 45. *insert grumpy face*
When did the rule about two spaces after a period change? Because I'm not in school and no one told me. I only figured it out when my blog spacing was horribly off and drove me nuts. Heck, I learned to type on a typewriter and it was two spaces then. It was two spaces on the Word Processor. It was two spaces on the Apple Mac in high school. It was still two spaces when I left college. But somewhere between then and now it changed without fanfare. /sigh
Does anyone even use Facebook anymore? I mainly use it to see photos of my niece and nephew. My personal page, I mean. Not my blog page.
Have you ever wondered why wedding rings go on the left hand ring finger? Well, it's not because there's a vein in that finger that connect to the heart. Whoops. I shouldn't argue with my husband when I'm wrong. Haha! After reading up on it, depending on what part of the world you live in, it can go on any finger.
Also, mashed potatoes are delicious.

Love with Food is one of my favorite snack subscriptions. While this is for the Deluxe Box, their smaller Tasting Box is also awesome and a great price. I like it a lot.
The Cost: $19.99/month for the Deluxe Box, $9.99/month for the Tasting Box
What You Get: 16-20 new snacks each month. Snacks are either organic or all-natural, GMO-free, gluten-free or free of artificial junk. (The regular Tasting Box has 8+ snacks).

The Meikoko BCdation Box is a Korean beauty box that should appeal to almost everyone. It promises full sizes, sheet masks and at least a foil sample of BB or CC cream in each box. So you can get a taste of anything and everything in this very reasonably priced box.
By no means do I consider myself a pro when it comes to kbeauty. However, I've spent quite a bit of time with it over the last year and absolutely appreciate what it has to offer. Many times I prefer my Korean skincare over quality Western brands.
This particular BCdation box has a great variety productwise even if it does heavily feature Etude House. I can't complain about that because Etude House is a cornerstone of kbeauty and everyone has to start somewhere.
The Cost: $16.99/month.
What You Get: Each BCdation box will have 6-7 items each month. There will be 2-3 full sizes, 2-3 deluxe samples, one sheet mask and one BB/CC cream sample.
Happily, each box features an information card explaining everything you are getting and how to use it. I like this new format much better than the old one, too. Clear and concise is always best. And this box has 8 products! Three full size, two masks, a deluxe sample and a foil.

Dapper Box July 2015 Review ~ A Men's Accessories Subscription Box
Dapper Box is a men's accessories subscription. Each month they'll send a themed box of everyday necessities with a little flair. Since I'm not a man, I relied on my husband's opinions of most of the items in this box. He can be quite dapper when he wants to be and he enjoys dressing up.
My main obsession with menswear is ties. I love ties. Luckily, my husband likes wearing them and he is not shy about colors so I can pick just about anything and he'll wear it. The last one I got was the most gorgeous lavender with purple and blue squares. /swoon
Anyway, this month's Dapper Box had a tie that I approved of even if it was a little pale. But there's always a shirt for that. Is it bad that I get his shirts to match my tie choices? :D
The theme this month is "Green Clove." Since my husband has green eyes, this box held pretty good appeal.
The Cost: $29/month
What You Get: A box of 4-5 Dapper Accessories to give you a unique look and style.

PetGiftBox July 2015 "Bark-B-Que" Small Dog Box Review and Coupon Code
The July 2015 PetGiftBox for small dogs was a LOT of fun. The theme was "Bark-B-Que" and all the treats and toys fit right in. I've been really impressed with PetGiftBox. They've been around since the beginning of the year but they've been doing so well. This box was pretty packed with all the things my dogs love.
PetGiftBox doesn't only send dog boxes either. They also have cat boxes! It seems like cats can get the shaft sometimes with boxes like these but no, PetGiftBox is here for you.
If you just want to buy one box (or more) without worrying about a recurring billing, you can do that, too. Sometimes it's nice just to buy one box and not have to worry about cancelling. If you want to do it like that, then choose Gift A Box.
The Cost: $27.99/month-to-month down to $17.99/month if you get a year.
What You Get: A box of four to six toys and treats for your pet.
Every box comes with an information card describing what you've received. You can also join their referral program and get a free box when a friend subscribes.
On to the goodies!

Botanic Farm Salmon Egg Hydrogel Eye Patches and Black Soybean Sleeping Pack Review
Memebox offered me the opportunity to review some of Botanic Farm's line of products and I said yes for one specific reason. Soybean. Yes, it makes no sense but that's why.
Botanic Farm is a Korean skincare brand that is trying to break into the US market. The Salmon Egg Eye Gels are already popular in Korea, having been spotted on several of their celebrities (both male and female). While it was not the eye patches that drew me to this brand, they are the reason I'm keeping this company on my radar.

Julep July 2015 Mystery Box Review Holo-Day and Holo-Night Plus Coupon Codes
Julep Maven is a subscription nail polish and beauty service from Julep. Since Maven is not the only thing they do, there's always plenty of things to shop for in their online marketplace. Since I refuse to pay $14 for one of their tiny polishes, I always use coupons and go for the deals.
One thing they do, that I love, is release Mystery Boxes! Since I'm not a Maven right now because I really have too much polish to begin with, I love to get these Mystery Boxes when they're available. I don't get them all and I definitely don't usually get two but this time I did. It's been awhile since the Mystery Boxes have not had overlap so it's nice to see that the July boxes had no overlap between them. It made getting more than one really easy, especially with a coupon. (Thanks, Brandy, it's all your fault!)
These particular Mystery Boxes are sold out but you can still find some of the individual polishes.
The Cost: $24.99/ea
What You Get: A collection of Julep nail polishes and beauty products worth at least $100 in retail value.
Starting with Holo-Day! I got the Major Add On with this box and I haven't seen other spoilers so I have no idea what is the Add On and what is the box contents. I'll try to update that as soon as I figure it out.
The Holo-Day Box plus Mega Add On came with a three beauty products, five polishes and a shopping bag.

Memebox x Makeup by Evon #HDReady Creme Matte Lipstick Review
Memebox has really been sprucing up it's beauty product catalog. These Memebox x MakeupbyEvon Creme Matte Lipsticks are fairly new and definitely haven't been given enough press. Memebox sent me all three of them for review and I admit I was initially skeptical.
Honestly, I don't know why. I've actually been really please with all of their lip products. The Lip Crayons and I'm Lipsticks are excellent and well-loved by me. In any case it seems fitting that I also fall in love with their matte lipsticks.
Maybe I don't get out much but I have no idea who Makeup by Evon is. A YouTube makeup guru, I'm guessing. She's absolutely gorgeous and she looks fantastic in all these colors. I hope she had fun working with Memebox because these colors turned out great.
There are three colors of this Creme Matte Lipstick. They're all based on the 2015 Pantone Color of the year which is Marsala. Marsala is a robust, earthy wine-red. And if I'm going to love anything, it's a good wine-red. Gimme everything off the blue spectrum, please, when it comes to reds. Anything that goes orangey instead is no good on me. Seriously. If I want to look like I have yellow teeth, I can slap on a coral lipstick and you'll think I've been drinking orange Kool-Aid for the last three days. And I don't have yellow teeth, dammit!
But these gorgeous colors? Yessss! My cool tones adored all three of these colors but my heart was stolen by one. The Daring Marsala!

Beautibi Repair and Recover Box ~ A New Asian Beauty Box! Plus Coupon Code
Beautibi was founded by an Asian beauty addict just like us. Her intention is to shower us with some of the best Korean, Taiwanese and Japanese beauty and skincare products ever. The current focus of Beautibi is beauty boxes, though there is a small shop where you can find things you love.
The Beautibi Beauty Boxes are not subscription boxes. These are curated, one time purchase boxes. So it's like Memebox, only with a greater attention to detail. The box contents are not a secret either. You'll be able to see the inclusions and decide which you want. There are currently three available, including this Repair and Recover one that I am reviewing today.
The presentation of this box is so perfect. It would make an excellent gift for someone you know who loves Asian beauty, too. That's how beautiful the box and wrappings are. After removing the lid, there was a packet of samples including Tony Moly and Too Cool For School and others. I always love getting these little samples.
The Cost: $45 + shipping for the Repair and Recover Box
What You Get: Specially curated products from Asia. Items in each box will differ. Each box will have at least 5 different items, mostly full-sized. All boxes will include a facial sheet mask.
