Fabletics August 2015 Athletic Wear Review and Save 50% Offer

Fabletics is an athletic wear company with a subscription option. When you sign up and become a VIP member, you’ll receive an outfit each month and special prices on all other items available. I have been very pleased with the quality and longevity of their products.

Kate Hudson is associated with the brand. I think she’s the creative mind behind the process. In any case, there are so many outfits to pick from there’s sure to be something to fit your style.

When you sign up for Fabletics, you’ll fill out your profile. You’ll be asked questions like “What’s your favorite part of your body?” or “Do you prefer to show your arms or your back?” and so on. Then based on your answers, it sets you up with outfits you might prefer over others available so that you can cover up your bingo wings or camouflage your quads. Personally, I like to look at them all and then decide.

The Cost: $49.95/month. Skip anytime right from your account.

What You Get: A complete 2 or 3 piece workout outfit of your choice.

Here’s how it works. When you sign up, you’ll get your first outfit for 50% off. It’s an unbeatable deal at that price. Seriously. Then if you get your outfit and love it, you can pick another one next month but it will be full price. If you hate your outfit, you can skip. Or cancel. It’s up to you.

The one thing you have to pay attention to is between the 1st of the month and the 5th, you need to make a decision. Skip or Pick. If you skip, no biggie. If you pick, you’ll get what you want. If you forget to do either, you’ll be charged $49.95 and issued a credit to use toward your next outfit choice.

I find that I skip two out of three months. These workout clothes hold up really, really well and I find I just don’t need a new outfit every month. However, when I see something cute, I can’t resist. It all gets used anyway.

This month I chose the Delancy outfit. It’s a two piece outfit with a top and a bottom. I never get any of the ones with sports bras because they are not made for busty girls. Although, now that I think about it, I believe they came out with a new sports bra that’s supposed to actually provide some support. If you’re an A or a B, you probably won’t have any issues so go for it. I’ll be jealous because some of the bra and top combos are so fun with cutouts and such.

Befort Tee in Heather/Gray- This is an oversized tee with some artwork by a graffiti artist named Stash. I know nothing about that. But this is definitely oversized. I got a Small and it is basically a Large. I’m swimming in it. I think I would have gotten an Extra Small if I could go back and redo it. However, I don’t mind that it’s large and breezy so I’m keeping it. It’s fairly thin, which I like for workout shirts and it’s made of a cotton/viscose blend.

Salar Capris- I chose a blaringly bright neon pinky-orange color for this outfit. Obviously it doesn’t match but I wanted a fun color and I have lots of black workout pants already. These are one of the most popular and well loved items on the Fabletics website. They’re capris and even though I’m short, they fit really well. They’re super stretchy and the fabric is pretty thick. However, while black is very forgiving, this color is not. I’m debating returning them for the boring black but part of me is thinking that if I lose another five pounds they won’t show off my flabby bits quite so well. 😀 Probably wishful thinking and I should just exchange them.

I do have to say that the exchange and return process are so simple and easy. You can even do it all over Live Chat on their website, that’s how easy it is. I never had any problem switching sizes or swapping items. The customer service is excellent.

If you would like to sign up for Fabletics, you will get your first outfit for $25 with this link if you are a first time customer. Outfits range from $49.95 to $79.95 and I do believe that they are worth the price.

What do you think of Fabletics? Do you have a favorite piece you love to wear? I really like the Forward Tees.
