Popsugar Must Have August 2015 Review, Coupon Code and LE Announcement!

The August 2015 Popsugar Must Have box was such a surprise! I don’t know why but it seems like everything in it was so odd yet fun. Of all the boxes I get, this is my favorite. If I had to give up all my boxes but one, this is the one I would keep. Popsugar always has the best items, the most usable things and (even though it doesn’t make sense) I feel like they send “real” products. Meaning… no samples. Unless it’s a bonus.

The boxes always have a ridiculously good value. Well over $100 for the most part. Some of them have been so good I’ve bought two. Last Christmas, I bought THREE and used them as gifts. Seriously, these boxes are the best.

The Cost: $39.99/month

What You Get: Full size, premium products dealing with Home, Fashion, Fitness, Beauty and Food!

Royal Apothic Tea Balm Firming Eye Cream- This has the cutest packaging!! Pretty much everything from this company has the best packaging so I’m not surprised. “Formulated with a base of green, black and ceylon tea, this luxurious treatment balm nourishes the delicate eye area with a rush of anti-oxidants. Superfruit extracts include pomegranate and goji berry. Reform wrinkles while peptides attack bags and dark spots.”
So this is basically a miracle cream. Spread it everywhere! This is made with shea butter and does have a powerpacked list of antioxidant extracts. Plus peptides! Nicely done on the ingredient list. I might have to use this! 😀 Plus, made in the USA and never tested on animals.
Value: $36

Meri Meri Toot Sweet Large Napkins- I never have cute napkins when I need them. Now as long as I don’t forget where I put these, I will have the perfect napkins to put my Pinkabella cupcakes on.
Value: $5.50

Happy Jackson Yay Lunch! Lunchbox- While I don’t have a kid, I do have a husband. And he does take his lunches to work. But it’s usually in a rubbermaid container. Omg. That explains where all my Rubbermaid went!! I can’t believe it took me this long to figure out that he’s been leaving them at work! This isn’t quite the same thing but it will make an excellent stocking stuffer. Yes, I’m thinking about stockings already. I basically never stop.
Shockingly, this lunchbox is sold not only by BurkeDecor but also by J.Crew. What? I know. Although now I’m thinking I should keep it for myself to help with portion control or to hold my pens. Or my cotton balls. Some decisions are so hard.
Value: $10

Fringe Studio Best Day Ever Mug- Umm… favorite thing in the box? I think so. I love getting things that will be around forever. The pancake mix will be eaten but this mug will stand the test of time (as long as my husband doesn’t break it- he’s been breaking a lot of things lately). Plus, I’m pretty much always having the Best Day Ever so it’s perfect for me and my relentless positivity. No, not logic. Props to you if you get that Futurama reference.
Value: $10

Shortstack Birthday Cake Pancake and Waffle Mix- If this tastes like birthday cake, it’s not even going to make it to the pancake stage. Once it’s batter, it’ll be a free for all… I’m totally making these just to find out.
Value: $8

American Colors Clothing Plaid Scarf- This is billed as a “Double Face Japanese Flannel Scarf.” I gotta say that I don’t see the Japanese having the market share on flannel. Or maybe I’m just thinking plaid flannel. Seems more like an American shirt. When I was in Japan I saw more business suits in three weeks than I have in my entire life. Work-suit. Starbucks-suit. Karaoke- yep, suit.
Anyway it’s blue and pink plaid on one side and blue gingham on the other with a fringe around the edges. It’s pretty big, too. I’m trying to decide what I think about it. I mean, I like it, it’s a nice scarf but does it “go” with my wardrobe. That is the question.
Value: $79

Folgers Iced Cafe Caramel Macchiato Drink Mix- This is a special bonus and quite frankly I wouldn’t have minded if it was part of the box itself. I like these kinds of things.

My Yoga Works 3 month Trial- Meh. Yoga. I’m not the type. I tried it, though! It’s not easy but I just didn’t enjoy it. If I’m going to work out, I have to enjoy it (or else I won’t do it). Currently that means heading to the gym with my husband, lifting weights and walking/cycling/ellipticaling. Previously it was Jillian Michaels DVD’s. You haven’t lived until you’ve done Killer Buns and Thighs.

VERDICT: This Popsugar Must Have box is fun! At first I thought it was pretty disjointed but really it’s sort of a “morning” box. Get up, apply your Tea Balm eye cream. Do your yoga. Make yourself coffee and a waffle using a napkin as a coaster. Put your lunch in your lunchbox, grab your scarf and head out the door! Everything in this box will be put to good use (except the Yoga download-unless one of you want my unique code…) and seriously, I’m in love with the mug. I might go downstairs and make the birthday cake pancakes right now. No. No. Must resist.

ALSO!!! Ebates is currently giving $5 back on Popsugar Must Have purchases!!! So you can get your box for a total of $10 off if you use Ebates! If you don’t use Ebates, sign up!! If you shop online a lot, I can’t recommend it enough. I love getting money back and the customer service is spectacular!

You can probably use that same Ebates deal to get yourself the Fall Popsugar Must Have Limited Edition Box! It goes on sale Thursday, August 20th! It’s usually $100 and full of wonderful things. I’m totally getting it. I didn’t get the Spring or the Summer so I think it’s time to get the Fall and Winter. The Winter was to DIE for last year.
