Beauteque "Soothing Spa" BB Bag September 2015 Review and Coupon Code ~ Get Your Asian Beauty Fix!

Beauteque is a US-based purveyor of Korean and Asian beauty products. They also have a subscription based website called Beauteque Monthly for those of us who want a monthly dose of kbeauty goodness. There are two subscriptions available. One is for the BB Bag which is what I'm reviewing today and the other is Mask Maven. With Mask Maven you get a shipment of only masks. The BB Bag, however, sends all sorts of wonderful things.

This month, the theme for the BB Bag is "Soothing Spa" and it couldn't have come at a better time. I did a whole bunch of yardwork over the last two days and I am aching and have a tension headache. Drat all that digging and shoveling! Anyway, this bag has SO many good things it, I can hardly wait to start using it all.

The Cost: $24/month plus shipping (Shipping costs depend on your country)

What You Get: At least 7 full size products in a combination of beauty, skincare and lifestyle items with a focus on Asian beauty brands.

Aritaum Aloe No Wash Cleansing Water- There are two options. One is the No-Wash Cleansing Water and one is the Garden Green Tea Cleansing water. I adore aloe in my skincare so I'm happy I got the Aloe one. I'm kinda bummed I just bought another Dr. Jart Micellar Water today. Oh, well. The more the merrier.
Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Butylene Glycol;1,3-Butylene Glycol,  PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Glycereth-26, Glycerin, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxylhanol.
Value: $21
Inner Kallia Special Care Modelling Pack- There are four types you can receive and I got Cooling. I'm really happy I did. The other three are... Vitamin, Collagen and Arbutin. I think that says Arbutin, anyway. Modelling packs are fun, mostly in the peeling off stage. Mix your power with some water. Less is more, in this case, or else your mask will slide off your face and drip everywhere. Trust me on this. Slather it on your face. Wait til it dries into a super interesting, rubbery consistency and pull it off. Voila! Beauteous skin!
Value: $5

Mixing Bowl- Awesomely, Beauteque has included a mixing bowl for you so you don't have to dirty up one of your own dishes! Yay!
Value: $5
The Saem Mint Jungle Foot Cream- I have discovered that I love mint on my feet. Especially at night. This one has spearmint, honey, mint and peppermint in it! My feet are going to be in heaven tonight!
Value: $12
Secret Key Secret Kiss Holic Pigment Glitter- Eyeshadow with mega glitter. MEGA glitter, people. Mega. I think this is gold. It's possibly rose gold, although in this photo it looks like it definitely is gold. Whatever it is, it's not silver.
Value: $7
Acquagems Herbal Soothing Cream- I'm going to use this right now. Aww, it's not nearly as menthol-y as I was hoping. Takes awhile to rub in, too. It's a pretty thin lotion. Still, it smells good.
Main Ingredients: 0.3% allantion, α-bisabolol,urea, menthol, witch-hazel extracts, chamomile extracts and licorice extracts.
Value: Hard to say. It's selling for $4 a pop on shady website #1 but you have to buy one thousand of them. Soo....

VERDICT:  This is a really excellent BB Bag! I love everything about it. Well, the random glitter shadow is a little weird but everything else I will totally use. Starting with the Aritaum Aloe Cleanser. Especially since that one thing is almost worth the whole cost of the bag! Now to decide if I should use the mask tonight or not. I think I should. The value of this bag is over $50 which is really good for a kbeauty bag with imported products. I do think that Beauteque offers the best value overall for a kbeauty subscription. They definitely send the most full size products as well.

If you would like to sign up for the Beauteque BB Bag, you can do that right here. Use code BITSANDBOXES10 to get 10% off your subscription! They ship internationally and depending on your country, the charges range from $3.95 (US) to $9.95 (Europe, etc). Obviously this is a better deal for US residents but if you're craving some kbeauty and you live where subscription boxes are not super awesome, you should consider this.

What do you think of the Beauteque BB Bags? Compared to other kbeauty options?

*This product was provided complimentary for review purposes. All opinions are mine, of course. I'm super opinionated. :D

  1. I want mine now!! :) I think I'm last on their shipping list for everything. Do you get the Mask Bag, Sarah? I've found some fun masks from their selection.. I'm a mask junkie but you might not be, IDK.
Did you see the one coming in the FFF box? :)

    1. Yes! I did see that! I've used one similar before by Bioxidea, I think it was. I got Mask Maven today. It's a fun one, so much Baviphat! Wait til you see it!

  2. Ooh, love Baviphat! ( as you know) :). Thanks for the head's up. I'm looking forward to getting both shipments around the last of the month- I'm not kidding.

    1. You need to move closer to the post office! I live right next to a major hub so I get my stuff much faster since it doesn't have to go from the hub to a different town. It comes right to me. I will be writing up my review in a day or two but this bag definitely made me smile. Plus, Baviphat... :D My fingers are crossed your bag arrives sooner than you think!

    2. I get most of my boxes very very quickly as I am very close to a major city hub as well.
It is a decision of Beauteque's. They go by " sign up" dates or so they say.

I have tried to get them to change my delivery dates for months. Last month, I got 2 BB bags because mine never came and I complained. Then 2 showed up on the last date of the month.
I don't know how to get them to change. It's definitely not my mail service though. :)

I get sub boxes way ahead of a lot of reviews.Just not Beauteque's, which kind of ticks me off.
And they are changing the mailing procedure anyway to an external fulfillment and shipping service this month, so they told me when I last complained. " Shrug"?
      Stubborn little women.

    3. Oh, yeah, that's how 3B does it, too. As long as you get it, though, that's what counts!
