Beauteque BB Bag Asian Beauty Subscription Box Review and Coupon Code

Beauteque has one of the few Asian beauty subscriptions that ship not only the the US but internationally, as well. They send monthly subscription bag packed with skincare and beauty items available to the US, Canada and Europe. Besides having an online store filled with Asian beauty, they’ve also got a subscription site!

Each month you can get a bag of Asian beauty and lifestyle products sent to your door. I find that it’s reasonably priced and the products tend to be fun. Products aren’t necessarily all Asian but they are definitely the majority. Each bag usually will include a lifestyle item of some kind, as well.

The Cost: $24 plus shipping. Ships Internationally to Canada and Europe, as well as the US.

What You Get: Six to eight full size beauty, skincare and/or lifestyle products each month with a focus on Asian beauty but also including products from the US, France and Europe.

Secret Key Glam Romance Perfume Body Lotion

Well, I have to say that this is something I’m unlikely to use. I’m not a big body lotion fan but also because of the scent. Secret Key has a few different flavors of this lotion. The one I received is copied after Dior Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. So it has patchouli, rose and citrus notes. If it was just citrus I’d give it a try but patchouli and I don’t like each other very much. Rose… rose is okay when it smells real but I have a feeling this wont.

Angellooka Hand Mask

This is a mask that warms up! I’m totally trying this. I like using hand masks although I’m not too sure of their purported efficacy. Still, I’ve never used one that heats up so I’m all over this.

Happy Bath Facial Yogurt Foam in Grain Essence

I’ve used this before and I remember not liking it for some reason. I wish I could remember why. It may have been that the pH was too high and it didn’t make the cut when I was testing everything.

SNP Cactus 90% Soothing Gel

I thought this was a big ole thing of aloe vera and was a little disappointed. Summer is overrrrr. But it’s actually cactus. Opuntia Ficus Indica to be exact. It’s a moisturizer and emollient. Good for dry skin, I expect. Interesting. It looks like it’s gaining some traction in skincare communities. I’ll have to keep this around. I do like the SNP brand, as well.

Baviphat Urban DollKiss Easy Looks Soft Lipstick

I managed to get a pretty light pink! I like it, it’s moisturizing. It does seem to wear off pretty quickly, though. And has a hint of “stick” to it.

Up close.

Swatched on my ghostly skin.

Beauteque Contour Brush

Well, I like the color of it! I just bought a bunch of new e.l.f. brushes so I don’t really need this but it’s nice to see a tool in the box. I don’t think I’d ever use this particular one for contouring (I thought it was a stipple brush, actually). I’m sure I can find a good use for it, though.

VERDICT: Honestly?

This was a weirdly curated box. It seems like that tends to happen a lot with Beauteque so just be prepared for that. Two body lotions, a hand mask, lipstick, cleanser and a brush. I mean, I like variety and there definitely is variety in brands. It would probably have made more sense to replace one of the body products with a blush or bronzer to use with the brush.
This bag has a value of about $50 if you were to shop Korean sites. I find that Beauteque tends to inflate the prices of the products included but that seems to happen with a lot of subscriptions.

I think this is a good subscription if you are in the US or Canada but the shipping internationally cuts too deep into the value to make it truly worth it.

If you’d like to sign up for Beauteque’s monthly BB Bag, you can do that right here. Make sure to use code BITSANDBOXES10 for 10% off your subscription!

What did you think of this bag? Am I just being too picky?
