Flickerbox is a subscription box that sends a seasonally appropriate batch of candles to your door every month. I think they do a great job of selecting fun, interesting scents while supporting small businesses and independent candle crafters. The other good thing is that you can find a lot of the artisans on Etsy and buy more. I always end up buying more... That's because the brands are so excellent.

Big White Yeti in Sweater Weather- This is my favorite scent in the box. I also am familiar with Big White Yeti because they've previously appeared in Flickerbox. I do not mind at all. I love their candles. This one smells like ripe apples, natural cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and cedarwood essential oils. Heavenly, if you ask me. I really, really wish this was bigger. It's a 2oz travel tin which is adorable but I am going to be sad when it is finished. I like Big White Yeti because their candles are really reasonably priced for being small batch.

Lit & Co. Candles in Cranberry + Clove- This also smells amaaaazing! I love spicy scents so much. This comes in a nice frosted glass jar with a lid. It's described as tart, red cranberries blended with spicy cloves and cinnamon with notes of orange peel and nutmeg. Yeah. Deeelicious! This is the biggest candle in the box. It's either 4oz or 6oz, I'm not sure.

Uncommon Scents in Pumpkin Souffle- This smells like... a fresh, nutty pumpkin bread. It's described as fresh pumpkin and mouthwatering butter, sugar, and spices. It actually makes my mouth water. I admit I'm a little disappointed to see that the wick of this candle is decidedly off center. Hopefully that doesn't cause too big of an issue when I burn it.

Wood & Wax Co. in Autumn Leaves-Autumn Leaves is a light an airy scent with notes of ozone, freshly fallen leaves, crisp fall air, sunshine and ending on light notes of moss. This is a 4oz candle and it has a wooden wick which I'm really excited about. I think I've only had one wooden wicked candle before. To me this candle smells very sweet and citrusy. It sort of reminds me of laundry detergent. It's not my favorite of this bunch but I'll use it. Wooden wick, ya know. :D

VERDICT:
Flickerbox always provides a great array of scents and they're always appropriate to the season. It's pricey but it has variety and I like that. The prices increase with this box unless you are subscribed and remain so. Since I've been subscribed, that change doesn't affect me but I still would like to see an increase in the value of these boxes. Both Lit & Co. and Wood and Wax Co. are new to me and it's hard not to compare their prices to those of Big White Yeti or Midnight Owl Candles, both of which I love and have quality candles for a much better price. Just sayin'.
