Juara Candlenut Body Creme- Made with candlenut oil and avocado oil, rice bran oil and illipe butter, this is a rich moisturizer for your body and hands. I'm not a big fan of body lotion of any kind, I'm too lazy to use it.

EJH Brand Diffuser in Pomegranate- There are a few scents you can get and I'm just happy I didn't get lavender! I wish I could have received Cinnamon but this Pomegranate one actually smells very nice. Not chemically at all. It's also not too sweet either which can sometimes be a problem. I'll definitely be using this but not till after Christmas. Right now my house needs to smell like pine trees and baking cookies.

Frends "The Donna" Earbuds- These are really wierd! Very futuristic looking. I'm used to having ones with little rubbery pads but these are... interesting. I'm going to use them because my husband just put my pair through the washer and dryer. I don't even know how he did that when they had been sitting right on my nightstand. Ah, well.
Value: $80 (yah, right! they aren't made of gold!)
FabFitFun Wine Stopper and Charms- Neon rubber wine stoppers and charms. Hideous. I mean really... Who is going to have an elegant wine and cheese night and whip out these charms to mark glasses?! No one. Unless maybe they're super young and think it's awesome. Well, not me at least.
Value: Blech.
Dermalogica Travel Set- This is fun! I tend to like Dermalogica products and this set has a Special Cleansing Gel, Multi-Active Toner and Skin Smoothing Cream. Granted I have all these things already in different yet excellent brands but hey, I'll try them!

Whitney eve x FabFitFun Fingerless Gloves- Whitney Port must be kiiind of desperate to work with FabFitFun. I dunno. Anyway, these aren't really fingerless gloves. They're fingerless mittens. They are cute, crochet with a button. I'm wearing them right now. My fingers are cold still but the rest of my hands are warm.

Zoya Nail Polish in Vanessa- This is a really pretty color! A beautiful berry. OMG it might match my hair, I have to try it and see. Wait... either way, I'm totally painting my nails the color of my hair! We have a huge party on Friday. It'll be fun to see what people do. My mom is going to croak when she sees it, my dad will ask me how old I am, my sister will tell me she's always known I was insane, my cousins will love it and my uncle will probably lift an eyebrow. My friends, on the other hand, will love it.

Shoptiques $25 Gift Card- This place has some cute accessories. It's kind of a muddle to go through. It's a collection of products from boutiques around the country who normally wouldn't have an internet presence. It's a fun idea. I may have to snag a few things.
Sweet & Spark Gift Card for $40- This place sells vintage jewelry so there's like one of each thing. And most of it's pretty ugly. And expensive. Nothing for $40 anyway. I forgot to take a picture of it because it was just a note card.
VERDICT: While I don't think this is the best FabFitFun box I've received, it's not bad. I don't like seeing so many FFF branded items in this box. They seem to be popping up more and more often. I don't get FFF to get products they had made cheaply with their logo. I get FabFitFun for the Dermalogica, the Sonya Dakar and the occasional jewelry. There is usually always something to love but I can't lie... If I had to choose between Popsugar Must Have and FFF, I'd pick Popsugar every time.

ReplyDeleteYour review was great and I think every FFF " VIP" has their box now except me.
I keep hoping I won't get a lavender- scented diffuser either but I'm REALLY afraid because I've dodged the lavender so many times in boxes this year. And I just had my last reed diffuser dry up. I kept it next to the table holding my humidifier, and the smell was always amazing in the bedroom and en suite bath.

DeleteAre they the first FFF Branded thing we've gotten? I swear I do not know. As far as the mittens, I'm going to wear mine over chic and form fitting leather gloves lined in cashmere. I think they will be cute and warm like that.
Also, Lisa Sugar has a ton of exclusives made for the various PS boxes.. I don't think of them as Pop Sugar branded, though, do you?
Do you ever watch the POP Network on TV? It's from Pop Sugar. The boxes feel a lot more special now. :)

I was thinking of the fruit diffuser water bottle and the neon wine things as the most awful but there was also the portable speaker and jump rope. Collaborations like the umbrella and the gloves have been fun, though, I don't mind that.

Oh, yeah. Forgot about the messed up super duper water bottle fruit infuser. I didn't realize that speaker thing was their brand. The jump rope- still in the box, as is the speaker and about 3/4 of the rest of the FFF box contents.

It's starting to look a lot like Fancy.com with the silicone wine things. Oh, the things I could tell you about my Fancy boxes ( which were returned post haste).

Oh, the POP channel plays lots of " Dallas", " Dynasty", "BH90210", and in the prime time market in Central time zone, repeats of the days soaps ( except General Hospital).
It's a light fun channel. I watched " My Cousin Vinny" the other night and I love it. They have a lot of good comedies, which is rare on cable.

Guess who got the Lavender reed fragrance infuser? Guess whose lavender liquid ( to which I am allergic) got all over my mittens, ear buds, skincare sampler, and everything else not plastic? Bottle broke in shipping. It only took almost 2 weeks to self- destruct along the highways and byways.

Well, the good news is they'll send you a new one and hopefully it won't have the lavender one in it! So it could be for the best after all. Except for the headache. :( Did you put it all outside?
DeleteThey've replaced items for me without any issues before so I don't think you'll have a problem. I do recommend calling rather than emailing, if you can. Email response time is slllooowwwww.
Their website is down, so I had to email them. I said " Cinnamon diffuser" so they won't send another Lavender, hopefully.

I put it all in the garbage can outdoors, so yes, it's outdoors permanently. :)
Thanks for your experience with them replacing things. I am really glad I didn't plan for any of that stuff to be Christmas gifts.
