Glossybox Limited Edition Holiday 2015 Review

I finally managed to snag one of the Glossybox Holiday 2015 Limited Edition boxes via Gilt City. It took the slowest route possible to get to me but FINALLY it's here and I can enjoy it! Typically, Glossybox Limited Editions are worth far more than the initial $40 cost and they spoil the contents so you know what you're getting. This is nice because it helps you make an informed decision. When I saw the first spoiler, I knew I wanted it.

The Cost: $40 one time purchase

What You Get: A box of full size beauty goodies valued at well over $100

Nuxe Huile Prodigeriuse Multi-Use Dry Oil- I luckily got a small sample of this in another box before I opened up this big one. It's not really for me. The scent is very strong and I just can't see using it on my face or my hair (though that's what it's for). It's also for your body and I have been using my previous sample for that. This large bottle is nice because it has a spray top. However I don't love it so much that I think I'd go through this GIGANTIC bottle. :D
Value: $45
Aerin Kaleidolight Palette- I thought at first this was maybe a contouring palette but it's really a highlighting palette and is meant to be used all as one color, even though their separate. Aerin is an Estee Lauder company. Here's what they say about their palette: "Easy and versatile, this pretty palette of five skin-loving, light-enhancing shades of bronze, beige, pink and lavender add subtle glow in one sweep to eyes and cheeks."
I'm a little nervous about using it now! I'm far from a pro when it comes to makeup although I'm working on it. My makeup collection has quintupled in the last few months.
Value: $70
Pure Cosmetics Illumination Glossygloss in Pouty Pink- This is a super pretty gloss and I love it. I thought it would be sticky but it's not. It uses jojoba oil and vitamin E and it's... minty. It does make my lips tingle but I don't mind. It's too pretty not to wear.
Value: $20

Ardency Inn Modster Smooth Rider Supercharged Eyeliner- Yep, black eyeliner. Whee! It's supposedly extra black and awesome but I freely admit to my love for another black liner. I just don't go through this stuff fast enough. Which is why I have ninety million of them...
Value: $19
l'Atelier Maquillage Mascara KeraCare- Not only black eyeliner but black mascara as well. This is a little more fun, though, because this is a French brand! I received one of their brow kits in a French Box. It looks like the brand is trying to get their foot in the door in the US. Since I currently have lash extensions, I'm not using mascara but I'm tempted to keep this one when I'm on a break.
Value: $26

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Champagne Socialite- I looooove this color! I don't know why but these rose gold shimmery foil type polishes have just been exactly what I want lately. This is a gorgeous, super sparkling gold with a hint of rose. I love it.
Value: $15

VERDICT: Totally worth it! Especially because I also got the November Glossybox as part of the deal, too. I'm excited to experiment with the Kalaidolight palette because I've heard good things about it. I love the gloss and the nail polish, too. The eyeliner and the mascara are the only "meh" items but I feel like they show up in most limited edition boxes when it comes to Glossybox.

This box is sold out but you can sign up for the December 2015 regular Glossybox (it has the CUTEST design!) right here. Try using code BRUSHUP for a free Doucce Soft Touch Kabuki Brush with your first box.

Did you get this box? Tell me how you used the Kaleidolight palette! What did you think of everything?
