Their goal is to expand your horizons and introduce you to some of the interesting products you can find in farmer's markets, hole-in-the-wall restaurants and mom and pop shops in each city featured each month.

I believe this is their inaugural box and I'm loving the contents so far. As a fan of small businesses, it's just the sort of thing that I love. This month's box features products from San Diego!
The Cost: $35/bi-monthly plus shipping.
What You Get: City specific gourmet treats such as homemade snacks, chocolates, candies, almonds and nuts. Also included will be the most awe-inspiring spices, condiments, and sauces and goodies like handmade soaps, candles, lotions, or lip balms.
True Gentleman Sinsa Korean BBQ Beef Jerky- Okay, I love beef jerky but this was SO spicy, there was no way I could hope to eat it. So I gave it to my husband. Who promptly said it wasn't spicy at all. What is it with guys?! It *is* spicy! My mouth was on fire! Pfft.
Value: $6.99
Nibble Chocolate 72% Cacoa Dark Chocolate- This is pure, utter bliss. It is most definitely dark. Dark, rich and glorious. It tastes somewhat fruity to me and that was cemented when my friend tried it and said it tasted like raspberries. It's also sort of toasty at the same time which sounds weird but if you were to taste it, you'd know what I mean. It's fabulous!
Value: $6
Pine Tree Road Soap Shop Oats and Honey Facial Soap- A soap made of honey with oats on top. To me, it smells pepperminty but I could be crazy. Either way, I love it! A natural, soothing blend of ground oats + pure honey. This little facial bar is great for people with sensitive skin and has double shea butter to these bars for extra creaminess. Also, you have to check out their shop because their soaps are GORGEOUS!
Value: $3.50
Arrogant Bastard Oaked Chipotle Hot Sauce- We used this already and it was pronounced delicious (though apparently not very spicy).
Value: $9
Maw 'n Paw Kettle Corn in Caramel- Buttery, caramel goodness. The caramel is made with a perfect blend of brown sugar and molasses.
Value: $3
Hopkins AG Lime and Salt Almonds- These are perfect. Perfect almonds, perfect flavor, perfect snack, perfect everything. Everything you could want an almond to be and then some. I hoarded these for myself after letting a few people get a taste. Love!
Value: $3.75
The Intuitive Kitchen MJ's Market P.C. Bar- This is one of those super healthy bars that super healthy people eat. We aren't super healthy people but we are willing to try things that are.
Value: $4
Bella Vie Candles S.D. Scented Soy Candle- This is a very fresh smelling candle. It's reminiscent of a day at the beach which is sort of strange at this time of year but only because it's 28 degrees outside and our Pacific Northwest beaches are not... warm. Ever. But it's made in San Diego and probably smells as good as being on a California beach! I think this candle may have cooled too quickly? Only because it has holes in the top and I think that's how they're formed? Not positive. As long as the wick doesn't drop to the bottom when I start burning it, I'm good.
Value: $7
VERDICT: This Hole in the Wall Box was a ton of fun to unwrap! There is so much variety in this box, I can hardly believe it. I do love local boxes, though. Specialty boxes like this make fun, eclectic gifts. I also like the fact that it's not just food which can be something that happens with boxes that focus only on one area. This box will feature a new city every time so there will always be surprises.
This box clocks in at exactly the price paid which is normal for boxes of this nature. This isn't a box you get for a deal, this is a box you get for an experience.
You can sign up for Hole in Wall Box right here on their website. Use code HOLEINWALLBAB to get 10% off your box! According to their counter, you have 15 days left to get this month's box!
