Kloverbox December 2015 Subscription Box Review and Coupon Code

Kloverbox sends natural, cruelty-free and/or organic beauty, lifestyle, nutrition and healthy home products to your door every month. This is one of my favorite boxes of this type, mainly because I love the wide spread of product types received. It's a great way to get to know new eco-friendly and health conscious companies and encourage a more sustainable lifestyle.

The Cost: $25/month

What You Get: Receive premium products to sample from top brands and hand-picked by health conscious curators in beauty, health, nutrition and home categories.

Balanced Guru Soothe Me Body Oil- This is a full size product and is cruelty free and organic! Body oils are nice during the winter because they help trap in moisture that the cold can suck out of you. This one is made with olive oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil and argan oil. It's light and non-greasy according to the packaging. I am still using the One Love Gardenia oil from Popsugar but this is next on my list.
Value: $19 (currently on sale for $15)
Dermadeli Calm Chamomile Exfoliating Scrub- Add a little bit of water to this scrub to make a paste, then gently rub it on your skin. It uses sugar, oat kernel flour, flax seed and bamboo powder to exfoliate. It also has chamomile oil and (sadness!) ginseng powder. I'd use this in a heartbeat if it weren't for that ginseng. My face does not like it at all.
So first, use this to scrub yourself, then apply the body oil. Your skin will be so happy! This is a huge jar so it's going to last awhile, too.
Value: $21
Harvey Prince Organics Hello 8.8ml Tall Spray- I discovered this in Birchbox and unexpectedly fell in love with it! It has notes of Meyer Lemon, White Grapefruit, Satsuma Mandarin, Summer Forsythia, Pink Plumeria, Wild Verbena, Tahitian Vanilla and Musk. It smells amaaazing! This is a heavy glass bottle with a spray top and I'm so happy to have it!
Value: $28

Kiss Me Honey Mint Lip Balm- Well, I love lip balm and I love mint so this went on my lips immediately. Love it! It's the perfect texture, too. It's made with organic coconut oil, organic beeswax and organic shea butter. Plus organic peppermint oil. Mm!
Value: $5

VERDICT: This Kloverbox is exploding with goodness! What a perfect box for this time of year with the oil and the scrub. It also is a huge plus that I love the Hello perfume, too. It's always iffy putting in a perfume because they're so subject to personal taste. This month has an incredible value, hitting over $70! For a $25 box that focuses on organic and natural products, that is unreal! I want to use that scrub SO badly. I might try it just on my body, not my face, and see what happens.

  1. This was my first Kloverbox (I signed up with the Black Friday discount) and I love it! Except I don't love the perfume but that's ok.

Hey, I recognize the corner of that picture frame in the background! I still have put anything in mine - it's just sitting in the box.

How is your purple / pink ombre hair? How many times have you washed it and how is the color holding up? Just curious b/c I loved it! Still can't believe you did that at home - impressive. :)

    1. Woohoo! Perfume is definitely a personal thing, you'd think subscriptions would shy away from including it. I'm glad you still found things to love in your box, though!

Good eye! I cut up a quote card and used it instead of a picture.

This morning I looked in the mirror and decided I was tired of purple and pink hair. Mainly because it's a nuisance to wash. I was washing it in cold water with conditioner only but I think I'm going back to hot showers. :D It's still very vibrant, the pink is maybe not so bright as before but that's it. I couldn't wear red on Christmas because it clashed so terribly. Haha! I think I've washed it five times, maybe six.
