Scent Intense by Costume National- Oo! This scent features amber, sandalwood, patchouli, hibiscus, jasmine, tea and crystal amber. At first this smelled almost beachy but now I smell the tea quite clearly and I love it. It's a warm, inviting fragrance, not frilly or feminine at all. More like business boardroom. It's really growing on me.
Otis & Me by Jazmin Sarai- This is a warm, spicy, unisex scent. It really does smell like coffee at first but dries down to a slightly smoky floral. I love it! I just wish it lasted longer on my skin. It has notes of Black Pepper, Bergamot, Cardamom Absolute, Turkish Rose Absolute, Incense Resinoid, Coffee Grains.
Laudano Nero by Tiziana Terenzi- I didn't really like this one after awhile. My brain just overloaded on it. Top notes are wormwood, cognac, rosemary, tobacco, myrtle and amber; middle notes are red rose, black locust honey, cedar, iris, sandalwood, rosemary, ash and slate; base notes are cashmere musk, laurels, incense, camphor, agarwood (oud), vetiver, musk, oak, vanilla and labdanum.
VERDICT: Olfactif sent a woodsy, warm selection of Winter perfumes. It's always nice to find high quality perfumes that mesh perfectly with a mood, too. These sort of make me want to growl at something like "Grr! I am woman! Watch me rip cars apart with my bare hands!" I had a lot of fun trying these. :D To me, the seem so much more... full bodied and extravagant that something I might find on a commonly found shelf in a department store.
