Pipsticks is a monthly subscription of stickers! It is possibly one of the most addicting things you'll encounter. I'm a grown woman and you don't even want to know how much fun I had sticking these things all over the place. A kid would probably go out of their mind with happiness.
You have a few options to pick from, too! If you want a pack for kids, you can get a specially curated Kid's Club shipment. If you want to expand your own stash for fun and excitement, you can get the Pro Pack. There's a Classic with 15+ sheets of stickers or the Petite with 7+ sheets. This review is for the Pro Pack Classic.
The Cost: $14.95/month for the Classic, $9.95/month for the Petite.
What You Get: Each Pipsticks sticker subscription pack is full of stickers in all shapes, sizes, colors and textures. In addition to cool stickers, you'll also find some paper goodies like quote cards and post cards (or craft paper in Kids packs) to make good use of your stickers.
Starting off with the Christmas ones! So many stockings! I received this package before Christmas but I didn't use any of these because I needed to take photos and review it otherwise EVERYONE would have had stockings, Santas and owls on their gift bags and tags. I love the clear Santa Hats, too, because you can stick them on anything and make it look like it started out with a Santa hat on it's head.
Winter related! Who doesn't love polar bears? I don't know anyone who doesn't think stickers like this are awesome! I will find a way to use them whenever possible. Future giveaway winners may find polar bears along with their winnings. :D
Fun and unusual! Kawaii stickers with clear backgrounds so you can stick them anywhere. Then there's some Story Stickers with The Wizard of Oz, Pinocchio, Peter Pan and Little Red Riding Hood. These stickers are like... butterflies? and can be folded in half over a popsicle stick and stuck together. Then you can use them like puppets to tell a story. Or you could fold them over card stock and make a diorama. So many options!
Varsity Letters, red dots and.... MOUSTACHES! Parisian moustaches. You need a close up of these adorable stickers:
These are so cute! There are little moustaches, eyeballs and hats so you can make your own little man. Or woman. I didn't even try to resist using these on the included quote card and postcard.
Yep! There are "sticker palettes" included! You don't have to hunt down anywhere to stick your stickers because options are provided along with them. Including a stamped postcard! Send that snail mail and make someone's day. I'm going to do it. I don't even care that Christmas is over, I'm going to slop Christmas all over it and send it.
SPARKLES! These are super sparkly stars and triangles. I'm guessing you could make trees out of the triangles (I did but it's on the opposite side of the postcard so you can't see it). And since I have a friend who loves champagne (probably too much, hah!) I'm going to use these for her at the next opportunity.
VERDICT: This Pipsticks delivery was so much fun. It was so hard to sit down and write up the review when all I wanted to do was find all the places every sticker should go. There's a great variety of styles, colors and textures and I appreciate that. There's definitely something for every one and I cannot believe how many stickers there actually were. I think this would be perfect for a kid, someone crafty who loves scrapbooking or making their own cards or just as a fun diversion to get those creative juices flowing. And really... SO fun!

I used to be addicted to stickers when I was a kid. We would have sticker trading parties. Wanna know what's crazy? I actually STILL HAVE my sticker collection. Yes. From when I was ten years old. They're mounted on old photo album pages with plastic over them. I'm not really a pack rat but those stickers have a lot of memories attached to them.
Did anyone else do that kind of thing?

Awww those polar bears are too cute!
ReplyDeleteSo, I tried the Pipsticks. I'm addicted. The 4th grader in me called her patents to see if they had packed away her old sticker books. And the adulting version of me recognized my stationary/crafty/planner obsession and decided to start using her hoard and blog about my love affair with all things paper. While not up and running just yet (tweaking my format/OCD issues ;)), I'll be sure to let you know, since you and your blog have been a source of inspiration for me. So, thank you. Very much.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I'm so happy to hear that!! Both about the stickers and your blog. Do let me know! I have used my Pipsticks for all sorts of things now. I used them to decorate thank you cards and I used them in my planner to mark off my check boxes (instead of boring ole check marks, haha!) They're way too cute not to use!
DeleteOh my gosh, yes, I had a huge sticker collection and sticker albums where I would organize them by type, (foil, scratch n sniff, puffy, etc! )
ReplyDeleteI still have my huge sticker stash from when I had penpals!
My girls would be I sticker heaven when I get this for them!
Me too!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one. There are way too many memories attached to my sticker collection, I just can't toss it. And I can't use any of it either just because it seems almost like sacriledge to disturb them. Hah!
DeleteOh and do you have a link that gives $5 off? The site shows the Tell-a-friend thing that gives $5 and you get $5 for someone joining.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! I didn't see it at all! Thanks for mentioning it. I can aaaalways use more stickers... :D
