Love with Food January 2016 Deluxe Box Review and Coupon

Love with Food is so much fun! It's a subscription that sends natural, organic and/or gluten free snacks to your door every month. There are two sizes, Tasting and Deluxe. This is the larger Deluxe box review. There was a rockin' deal on Groupon awhile ago for 3 months of the Deluxe box but once this is up, I think I'll go back to the Tasting Box.

I like this box because while the treats tend to be healthy, they sneak some really good snacks in. I've discovered some really great products in my Love with Food boxes.

The Cost: $19.95/month for the Deluxe Box, $9.99/month for the Tasting Box

What You Get: 16-20 new snacks each month. Snacks are either organic or all-natural, GMO-free, gluten-free or free of artificial junk. (The regular Tasting Box has 8+ snacks)

Snikiddy Baked Mac n Cheese Puffs- YUM! Best thing in the box, for sure. Light, airy and soft puffs of tastiness. This has been in a box before but I'm not complaining since they're so good. Two bags, too!

Pop Art Rosemary Truffle Popcorn- This is a little to rosemary for me. I like rosemary but not when it's overwhelming.

The Better Chip Jalapenos and Sea Salt Chips- Tortilla chips with a hint of jalepeno. Better than just plain!
Love Grown Foods Power O's- Blech. You know they're bad when even the dogs won't eat them.

The Better Chip Corn and Sea Salt Chips- Meh. Tortilla chips. Woo.

Dimario Foods Original Smoked Pork Snack Stick- I gave this to my husband because he loves this kind of thing.
Annie B's Handmade Sea Salt Caramel- I love caramel but salted is not my favorite. That being said I tried these and dubbed them too salty for me (I don't like big salt chunks) but my mom will love it.

Ritter Sport Mini Chocolates- Chocolate is always a nice addition to any box.

Loacker Mini Wafers- I seriously heart wafer cookies. My favorite Loacker ones are the lemon. SO good. These are also good, they're chocolate with a white wafer. They're not as good as the lemon. I just love that tart bite.

Caveman Foods Dark Chocolate Almond Coconut Bar- So many weird healthy bars in this box! Based on the ingredients, this sounds like it'll be good but it might be one of those weird textured bars. I have texture issues with foods. I've tried to get over the textures but it hasn't changed in 30 years.
Betty Lou's Almond Butter Energy Ball- Okay, now this was pretty good! After trying the Erin's cookies, I didn't have very high hopes. Definitely better than the Erin's and quite edible. Almost addicting.

Betty Lou's Cashew Pecan Energy Ball- I'm saving this for a hiking trip since it's the perfect size and I know it'll taste good based on the other one.

Erin Baker's Peanut Butter Mini Breakfast Cookie- I gave this to my friend to eat after her run since I didn't really like the Chocolate one I tried.

Erin Baker's Double Chocolate Chunk Mini Breakfast Cookies- This was kinda dry and pretty flavorless. I didn't finish it (even though it's small) because they're pretty calorie dense and I'd rather eat something that tastes good for that many calories.

VERDICT: Honestly, this wasn't my favorite Love with Food box. Not by a long shot. I think that's mainly because this January box is packed full of "too healthy" foods. I know, I know. I should be happy about that but really.... I like my food to taste good. The Snikiddy puffs were the best thing ever and I'm hoping I can find them in a store around here. Oh, and the Annie B's caramel... Yum! So even though this isn't my favorite box, there is still something for me to love. The good thing is that my husband loves healthy food and he'll eat most everything that I won't. Works out well for us this way.

Is anyone else kind of a cheese puff aficionado? I love the Barbara's Baked Cheese Puffs the most but these Snikiddy ones are super tasty.
