Also, the box this month is adorable. I love it when they do fun designs.
The Cost: $21/month
What You Get: Five luxury deluxe sized beauty essentials, from both well-known and emerging brands, delivered to your door each month.
Teeez Cosmetics Oasis Gem Lipstick in Heat Wave Ruby- This is an unbelievably gorgeous color. I'm so sad that it broke off inside the tube! I had to dig it out. I may contact Glossybox and see if they'll send me an unbroken one because it is a color I'd happily wear.
Value: $22
GlamGlow ThirstyCleanse Daily Hydrating Cleanser- This is a nice size Glamglow sample! Clean your face with mud, I guess. :) I don't use Glamglow because while they are expensive, they really aren't all that great for your skin. At my age I can't afford something fancy for the sake of fanciness. I want something that works and won't hurt my skin. Oh, and is cheaper. Plenty of that around and I freely admit that I love my hydrating Wild Naturals Manuka Honey Cleanser that's a perfect 5.5pH. I love it so much I don't use anything else (except an oil cleanser before hand to dissolve makeup).
Value: $8
BioRepublic Skincare Sheet Mask- I've been loving how many sheet masks are popping up in mainstream beauty boxes! I've been using them for almost two years now and have mostly had to purchase them online from Korean beauty suppliers. Now, however, the "West" is joining in and I'm happy about it. This brand is one of my favorites because they don't use alcohol and they do use antioxidants. It's not the best ever but it's pretty good.
Value: $5
Etre Belle Cosmetics Golden Skin Roll On Caviar Eye Gel- This brand has appeared in Glossybox before in the form of an aloe moisturizer. I liked it and I'm curious about this product. I'd love to know what's in it but I can't find an ingredients list anywhere. Oops, I lied. Here's one. Looks like something worth trying!
Value: $30
Benefit Cosmetics The Porefessional Face Primer- I have a primer that I like and one that I love. This is neither of those. I find this goes chalky on me, I have no idea why. So I'll pass this on to my MIL who loves it. So weird how different skin reacts to different things.
Value: Sample
VERDICT: This turned out to be a really fun box for me. Some new skincare, some new makeup and something I can give to someone who will love it. It's pretty much all the good things I can expect out of a box like this. I do hope Glossybox will replace the Teeez product because I am not the type to fuss with clamshells and a mini brush (or God forbid, my finger). I'm glad I signed back up when I did because I also love the box itself.
If you would like to sign up for Glossybox, you can do that here. Use code PERFUME to get a free Sabe Masson Le Soft Perfume added to your first box (while supplies last). If you sign up now you'll start with this February box! When you sign up it will tell you if February is sold out. If it's not, it ships right away. If it is, then you'll start with March and it will ship around the 10th.
What did you think of your Glossybox this month?
