PetGiftBox February 2016 Small Dog Box Review and Coupon Code

PetGiftBox did an amazing job with their February 2016 box! I got a kick out of the theme and how they adhered to it. Since February is the month with Valentine's Day, the theme was "Share the Love" and the box contents were way too fun.

The Cost: $28.99/month-to-month down to $18.99/month if you get a year.

What You Get: A themed box of four to six toys and treats for your pet.

Zippy Paws Love Emoji Plush- I *almost* kept this for myself but I accidentally squeaked it and Bugsy became glued to my shoe for the picture taking process. When I looked down he was shaking like a leaf, the little manipulator! But since the whole box was about love and I adore Bugsy, I gave it to him and he was happy. He's currently trying to rip out the eyes.
Value: $6

Zanies Love Bone- A nubbly berber squeaky bone. Pretty much anything that squeaks is going to be a hit in my house. PetGiftBox sent a rubbery squeaky Halloween toy that is still very much in use. It's only bad when my husband is on a conference call and Bugsy comes in squeaking like mad. :\ It's a powerful squeak toy...
Value: $9
Isle of Dogs Smiles Heart Shaped Treats- All ingredients are obtained from whole food sources including grains, fruits, vegetables and herbs with no addition of synthetic vitamins, fillers or additives. I don't think we've ever tried this brand of treats! Since there is no chicken, both dogs will be able to enjoy them. Yay!
Value: $7
I Love My Dog Car Magnet- Hmm... I don't know if I'm the type to put a magnet on my car. I *know* I'm not the type to ever, ever put a sticker on it. A magnet is a middle ground. But I don't know if I can mar the pristine Subaru rally blue with this... Not because I don't love my dog but because I love my car sleek and uninterrupted. However, it's totally going on the fridge. Because I *am* a fridge magnet dog mama!
Value: $5

Bubba Rose Biscuit Company Frosted Cookie- An organic, gourmet dog treat. This is super cute. I wish I could eat it. Well, I guess I could since it's human grade but eehhhh.... I'll let Dexter love it.
Value: $3.99

VERDICT: This is a fun subscription for dogs although I know they also do cat subscriptions, too. For dogs, this Small box is good for dogs 10-20 pounds. Any smaller and the toys may be too big to play with! If you already subscribe to a dog box and you're looking for something different, Pet Gift Box sends different toys and snacks from other boxes I've tried. It's what makes it fun! Plus the dogs are never bored (or hungry).

  1. What a precious box! My dogs who are still young enough to play are too tiny for the items, which really makes me sad. I don't think there is a box for 5 pound dogs, LOL.
This is a great box for slightly larger dogs than my guys. I bet yours loved it. :)

    1. They did! My friends have a little chihuahua mix of some sort (found in a garbage dumpster!) that weighs 6lbs and when she comes over, she tries really hard to play with some of these toys. Most are just too big and her jaws are too tiny. :)
