The Cost: $46.95/month (includes shipping)
What You Get: Each box will include 2 or more full size small-batch goods, ranging from the warmest home decor to the most exquisite paper goods, bath products, jewelry and more. Products will have a total retail value of $50 or more.
Ash & Ember Soy Candle in Cascade Pass- This scent is amber and oakmoss with a bit of musk. It's also infused with sage and orange essential oils. It smells fresh and sultry at the same time. I like it! Each candle is made from 100% pure soy wax from soy beans grown by U.S farmers. Our cotton wicks are lead free, and we only use phthalate-free fragrance oils.
Value: $8
Haley's Crochet Mug Cozy- This is totally adorable but I have to admit it's not something I would ever use. Do people actually use them? For one, it's way too small to fit my mug. :D Mine is huge because I drink a ton of tea. I suppose I could use it for my mochas when I'm out and about but I'll tell you... It's probably only get used once and then get totally lost in the miasma that is my car.
SimplistiCreations Birch Coasters- This is a set of 4 coasters and I absolutely love them. They're made of baltic birch, hand stained and then coated in shellac to handle the water drips. They also have little cork feet on the underside.
Value: $30
Apoterra Skincare Volcanic Pumice Exfoliating Soap- This soap is made with pumice stone harvested from ancient volcanic beds. It scrubs away dead skin cells, gets rid of stubborn oils and dirt, and gently removes calluses. Leaves your skin feeling clean and soft. I can't wait to use it! I think it's time for a new soap in the shower anyway.
Value: $12
VERDICT: Even without counting the mug cozy, which I won't use, the box totals up to more than I paid for it. It is also true, however, that I would not pay $30 for coasters. I'm cheap! However, I purchased this box as a gift to myself (even though I get a lot of boxes, not all of them are ones I would choose specifically for myself) and I'm pleased with what I received. It's not a box I would get every month, I don't think, but that's only because I get so many already. This is a box I would choose to get if I was getting only one or two a month. Of course, the other one would be Popsugar Must Have. Oh, and I do like getting the Allure Beauty Box, too... :D
If you would like to sign up for Aster Market, you can do that here. They also have a selection of past boxes you can look at and purchase if you don't want to commit to a subscription. I like that idea. Use coupon SHARE20 to get 20% off your first month.
What do you think of Aster Market? Do you know of a box that might be similar to this one? I really do like getting boxes that aren't totally beauty related.
