Something Snacks March 2016 Snack Box Review and Coupon

Something Snacks celebrates St. Patty's Day with a box full of green! Green packaging, green snacks and all so fun and tasty. I'm always surprised by what's included in this snack box. It's like no other snack box I get so it's ultra-fun.
Since I just got back from Ireland, I will tell you one thing I learned while I was there. It is never St. Paddy's Day with "d" instead of "t" ever. Tromping around the streets of Dublin there were signs saying you can write it any way you want but not Paddy's. I thought it was hilarious that there were tutorials out in preparation for the influx of tourists for St. Patricks Day. The Irish celebrate the day with parades and lots of beer. Although, they drink so much beer I don't know if it could be any different than a regular day.

The Cost: $13/month

What You Get: Each box will contain 7 new and tasty, hand selected snacks.  You can expect something familiar and something more out of the ordinary.

Dirty Potato Chips Sour Cream and Onion- I just realized I haven't tried these. I better open the bag. Mmm, yep. Crunchy and delicious! I like sour cream and onion potato chips to begin with. For Kettle cooked chips, these are sort of thin (not as thin as Lays!) and I like that.
Presto Peanut Butter Cream Sandwich- This is classified as something from the Philippines and is the only thing I haven't tried yet. Mainly because of the darn Kettle Corn filling me up.

Ego Swiss Roll Coconut Pandan Flavor- You might be wondering what Pandan is. I was. I looked it up and it's a tree in Asia. The leaves are soaked in coconut milk and they impart a sweet flavor and a green tint to the milk. Then the coconut milk is used to make cakes. Whatever the flavor is, I'm not sure I could identify it. It tasted coconutty which is to be expected. :) I ate the whole thing. It was good!
Emmy's Coconut Vanilla Macaroon- This is organic and doesn't have the texture of a normal macaroon but it sure is delicious! I already ate it. I love coconut!

Just the Cheese Jalepeno Cheese Bites- Since I'm not a fan of hot and spicy (or jalepenos) and because I feel I shouldn't always hoard the majority of the snacks, I gave these to hubby. I don't know what they'll taste like but hopefully he enjoys them.
Kettle Heroes Popcorn in Prickly Pear- I can't even describe to you what this tastes like. It's sweet and delicious and I can tell already I'm going to snarf the whole bag. The popcorn bits are sprinkled with prickly pear powder. I know I've eaten prickly pears but it was so long ago I cannot remember how they taste in order to verify the authenticity of the flavor. I'm just going to say I'm not sharing. That means it's good.

Orchids Seaweed Bits- I hate seaweed but my husband loves it. These types of snacks are just his thing. He will probably eat them absentmindedly while he plays his new game. I think he's playing Division. It's good he'll eat them because I sure wont!

VERDICT: Something Snacks is a fun snack subscription. You're not going to be inunudated with healthy snacks all made with dates and gluten free flour. There usually is a healthy organic or natural snack and that's fine with me. But I really love getting the strange and interesting stuff. Along with goodies like potato chips and Kettle corn!

If you would like to sign up for Something Snacks, you can do that here. Use coupon code BITSBOXES2 to get $5 off your first box! That's a great deal!
