Aster Market finds the best of Etsy and sends it to your door. It's a fun subscription that sends anything and everything. It's a subscription I consider a gift to myself. They send surprise small-batch products ranging from home décor, jewelry, paper goods, bath products and more. It's a fun subscription that also makes an excellent gift for ladies. I like it because it has things you won't find anywhere else.

Little Low "Bloom" Print- This is a gorgeous print, just my style and perfect colors. I love it. I'm beginning to think I need to start planning a whole wall of all the great prints I've received in subscription boxes over the years. This is by Caitlin McClain and this print is inspired by her grandmother and her love of flowers. It's totally Spring-propriate!
Value: $20
Urban Oreganics Lip Butter- This brand pops up fairly often in subscription boxes and I have enjoyed most of what I've received. The packaging and branding are very nice and the products themselves are of the best quality ingredients. this lip butter is packed with butters and oils and has a fresh citrus scent from the grapefruit, lemon and orange essential oils included. Yum!
Value: $12
Adam Rabbit Quartz Necklace- I have to admit to a little trepidation when I opened this. I'm not too fond of Adam Rabbit and the accompanying style. However, this time I was pleasantly surprised to find a chunk of crystal capped with gold foil and strung on a chain! I love it! Sadly, it broke while I was wearing it the first time. The chain is not of good quality and it snapped when I gently adjusted it. Thankfully, being somewhat of a bead enthusiast, I had tools handy to fix it and it is now wearable again. Yay! I may have to find a better chain for it because I imagine I might experience the same problem again.
Value: $20
VERDICT: Aster Market is a box I consider a splurge. It's fairly expensive and usually contains only 3-4 items but the variety and creativity in product choices tend to win me over fairly frequently. I really enjoyed this box although there is a part of me that wishes something other than a lip balm was chosen. But again, that's just because I'm a subscription box addict. This would make a fantastic gift for someone unsuspecting and is also a very safe gift for a female coworker or boss. It's fun, interesting and unusual and I highly recommend it in that capacity.

What do you think of Aster Market? What are some wonderful things from Etsy that you would love to someday find in a box?
I adore the necklace, it's a real shame it snapped. What do you use to fix chains, just out of interest? I have a similar necklace from a similar site that snapped and I really want to fix it but I have little to no knowledge of jewellery making. Is it easy or hard?
ReplyDeleteI used a pair of pliers to open up a link, hooked the other end of the chain into it and then closed the link over it. It's pretty easy other than everything being super tiny. :)
