Trendy Butler Menswear Subscription Review April 2016 plus $10 Coupon Code

Trendy Butler is a subscription service for men, sending quality mens clothing each month.  You'll receive an array of clothing from both well known brands, and todays newest designers. So far I've been happy with the quality of the clothing and though the same brands seem to pop up regularly, we've been satisfied with the variety.

The goal is to add pieces to your regular wardrobe while expanding your outfit options. Subscribe long enough and you can have a whole closetful of clothing from pants and socks to t-shirts and sweaters. Since everything is chosen for you based on your profile preferences, they should all match your prefered style.

The Cost: $65/month

What You Get: $150 worth of quality clothing (anywhere from one to three items) from brands you know and fashionable up and coming designers.  Choices are made by a stylist based on your profile answers.

Jach's Mfg Co. Brown Plaid- This is medium weight plaid button up made of cotton and polyester. I really liked this and so did my husband. Since he has to wear it, that's a good thing. I've actually been secretly glad that plaid seems to be coming back in style. And it's better looking now than it was in the 90's.
Value: $69
Rogue Thermal in Olive- This is an excellent color and it fit great. It's well made with a serged hem. I really liked the side seam embellishment. It just adds to the feel of the garment even though it's subtle. If you haven't visited the Rogue website, you need to. I love the sort of distressed contemporary look of their line. If I was a man, I'd wear it! Apparently this line is pretty popular with celebrities, too. I can see why.

Kinetix Crown Z Blocked Zip Hoodie
- This is a great style and DH wears hoodies pretty often. This one is really long, though. I think it looks fine (my husband is 6'1") but he says he needs to get used to it before he pronounces a final verdict. I like the brand Kinetix and everything from them tends to fit my husband's athletic figure well.
Value: $120 (but it's on clearance at Saks)

VERDICT: Trendy Butler is one of only a few subscription services like this. I find that the quality is better than others and I like the fact that these are niche brands working hard to get their product lines out there. This month had two brands we've never received before which is nice. When I first subscribed, it took a really long time to get my first a
nd second packages but subsequent months haven't had that issue. After you fill out your survey, you may receive a phone call or email communication to nail down your style. Trendy Butler does seem to work hard to provide clothing you will actually wear. This is good because, as with most subscriptions, there are no refunds. You may, however, exchange one item for style issues (you hate it) and any item for size issues (your biceps are too amazing to fit in the sleeve). Returns are free via a prepaid shipping label. The downside is that you have to wait until your next shipment to get your exchanged product.

In an interesting side note, Trendy Butler just closed a round of seed funding oversubscribed. I'm interested to see how that affects what subscribers see. New brands maybe? A more streamlined and intuitive website? No idea but this next year should be interesting.

If you'd like to sign up for Trendy Butler, you can do that here. Use code BITS10 to get $10 off your first month.

*This shipment was sent complimentary for review purposes. All opinions are mine (or my husband's since he's the one wearing it all). Affiliate links were used in this post.
