This subscription has a variety of box sizes to choose from so you can get the perfect amount for just yourself or you family. The soaps are vegan, contain no preservatives, animal products, petroleum products, parabens, or lauryl sulfates. They're made with coconut oil, olive oil and shea butter with some other ingredient differences depending on the scent.

What You Get: Four new seasonally inspired scents of artisan crafted handmade vegan soap every month. The Large Box sends two ~5 ounce full bars and two ~2.5 ounce half bars of soap every month. The Half-Bar Sampler sends four ~2.5 ounce bars.

African Violet- This is the first time I've received a repeat scent. This scent appeared in last year's May box! Nothing wrong with this scent although it's a little more floral than I like. But since African Violets seem to make popular Mother's Day gifts, it's right for the season.

White Tea Mint- Again another scent from last May, this is lightly scented, neutral bar of soap. I don't know if I really smell tea or mint but I like it. I think I'd like it even better if it was more strongly mint.

Lemongrass- Lemongrass is one of my favorite soap scents ever. In fact, when I'm making my own soaps, it's the first scent I reach for. It's so invigorating! I just love it and get regular requests for it. I like to add bits of dried lemongrass to mine but this bar has poppy seeds added for exfoliating fun.

Cherry Almond- Another repeat scent, also from last May, this bar has oatmeal in it for soothing skin and sloughing away dead skin. This has an amazing cherry almond scent which I'm particularly partial to. I always wish I could eat it.

VERDICT: I know I've said it before but this is a lot of soap! It's a little on the soft side which I like and it's quite moisturizing. I can tell the difference between one of these soaps and a bar of Dove just by my skin. Dove leaves me dry and ashy, Clean Bar Box does not. I almost prefer the smaller bars because they're easier to hold on to and, since they're smaller, you can move on to a new fab scent more quickly. If you're a family of four, you'll probably do well with the Large box. My husband and I don't go through the large box in a whole month. This is why I think the fact that they offer bi-monthly shipments is genius! Eleven dollars a month for good soap? Worth it! I think the only thing I would like to see would be natural fragrances and essential oils.
