Cozy Reader Club Book Spoiler May 2016 plus Coupon Code

The book spoiler has been released for the May 2016 Cozy Reader Club! I'm actually really excited to read it, too, and I bet it's going to make the rounds among my friends as well.

Cozy Reader Club is a box dedicated to providing a complete reading experience and I am LOVING it so far! It's not cheap but is it ever fun! When it arrives at my door, it's all I can do not to "squeee" and rip it open.

The Cost: $64.95/month

What You Get: One newly released women's fiction novel, an artisan coffee, tea or hot chocolate, gourmet treats and beautiful handmade items.

Here's the book for May:

It's Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld! It's a modern day re-telling of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Now, I'm a HUGE fan of Jane Austen and I love to watch all the movie adaptions and read stories based on... You know what I mean.

This was just released last month and is a New York Times Bestseller.

Here's the blurb:

This version of the Bennet family—and Mr. Darcy—is one that you have and haven’t met before: Liz is a magazine writer in her late thirties who, like her yoga instructor older sister, Jane, lives in New York City. When their father has a health scare, they return to their childhood home in Cincinnati to help—and discover that the sprawling Tudor they grew up in is crumbling and the family is in disarray.

Youngest sisters Kitty and Lydia are too busy with their CrossFit workouts and Paleo diets to get jobs. Mary, the middle sister, is earning her third online master’s degree and barely leaves her room, except for those mysterious Tuesday-night outings she won’t discuss. And Mrs. Bennet has one thing on her mind: how to marry off her daughters, especially as Jane’s fortieth birthday fast approaches.

Enter Chip Bingley, a handsome new-in-town doctor who recently appeared on the juggernaut reality TV dating show Eligible. At a Fourth of July barbecue, Chip takes an immediate interest in Jane, but Chip’s friend neurosurgeon Fitzwilliam Darcy reveals himself to Liz to be much less charming. . . .

Now I'm just imagining being curled up reading this with some tasty beverage that's also from the box and whatever other delicious and cozy items arrived with it.

This box is completely sold out but if you sign up now, you'll make it in for the June box. See my reviews for an idea of what you'll find in a Cozy Reader Club. Get $5 off your first box with code SAVEFIVE.

  1. Oh, wow, you come up with the most gorgeous subscription boxes!!!
I had pretty much written this one off because, well, it's not cheap and I have so many Amazon benefits with my Kindle and Amazon Prime. But- I can't resist. :)
I'm going to drop something I don't like that well to add this subscription. Or maybe- just add this subscription. I LOVED your last box so very much, and your reviews and now the spoiler are simply wonderful!!:)

( Did you get your Texas Market Box yet? Mine came yesterday. Spoiler for YOU- One very tasty chocolate item in box. :)).

Thanks for pushing me right over the line and into Cozy Reader, which I just typed as " Coy Reader". Ha.

    1. I just can't help it. It's easy to say 'no' to other book boxes because, like you say, I can just get the books off Amazon or get them at the library. But this box sends such good extras that are so 'me' I can't quite resist. Other book boxes send small trinkets that I'll never use and just clutter up space. So far I've used every single thing I've received in all my boxes. And that's saying something!

I havent received the Texas Market box yet but I'm ready for some chocolate!

  2. They just sent me an email to join and now it's sold out? DRATS!

    1. I've noticed that seems to happen a lot with some of the smaller sub box businesses, especially with book boxes. Owl Crate was on a first come first serve system every month, too. I had to wait awhile before I finally managed to snag a spot.
You could try emailing and begging for a spot if someone cancels :D I think the beverage this month is going to be a coffee if that helps you decide.

    2. I kind of take it as a sign that it's just too expensive for me for a few reasons.. I've spent so much on Kindle books, all in the Cloud, unread.

Hate coffee more than there are words, LOL. Nothing personal...
It does make the pain less, yes. :)

My puppy's sick- so I'm not sleeping.. Totally forgot to order this before it sold out, my fault upon reflection.

    3. I figured you'd feel better if I told you it was coffee this month. :D I have so many books to read, too. I've finally caught up with all the things that got backed up from being in Ireland and then the vacation weekends after that. I can't believe it took THIS LONG! Yesterday, I finally was thinking how good it felt to have absolutely everything done. Now I can get back to reading! whee!

I hope your puppy gets better quick. I totally know about the not sleeping thing. With Bugsy, those first two months were KILLER for my beauty sleep. Maybe some naps in the afternoon?

  3. He's been so listless and limp it's been " Stay awake and try to keep him alive". Long story- not my fault- but at least I finally found out what's wrong. Look for incoming. :)
