PetGiftBox is a subscription box for dogs and cats. This review is for the Petite Pup Box which is for dogs up to 20lbs. There are also Mid-Size and Hefty Hound boxes for larger dogs. I find that the Petite Pup box is perfect for my 20lb rat terriers. Treat sizes are great and the toy sizes tend to be pretty spot on. I think if you have a dog under 10lbs, it probably won't work as well for you.
The theme this month is Basic Training and all the products have a military theme.
The Cost: $28.99/month
What You Get: A themed box of four to six toys and treats for your pet.
Loving Pets Gobble Stopper- I've actually been thinking about doing something like this. Mainly because Bugsy eats his food so much faster than Dexter. Then he tries to eat Dexter's food, that brat. This might keep him at his bowl a little longer.
Camo Bandana- I do get the petite version of this box but this bandana is probably sized for an 8lb pup.
Troop Treats- These are made in the USA which I absolutely prefer. These are green gingerbread man shaped treats which the dogs both liked.
Knotted Ball Dog Toy- This ball is too big for my dogs even though they're 20lbs. It's far too heavy to play catch with, for sure, and it's just a little too big for optimal gnawing. It's okay, though, because toys we can't use get donated to our local shelter.
Bow Wow Pets Crinkle Soldiers Dog Toy- This definitely won't last long in this house. My dogs are chewers. Bugsy will have fun disemboweling it and Dexter will have fun gnawing off the arms and legs. Heh.
VERDICT: I think it's been awhile since I've received an accessory like the Gobble Stopper in a dog box. I'm pretty happy about it and I'm excited to try it. One of the things I like about PetGiftBox is that they tend to send things that don't appear in other boxes. The one downside is that my boys are heavy chewers and plush toys don't last very long. I'd love to see a heavy chewer option or something. That would be pretty sweet.
Personally, I really love getting boxes like these for my dogs. Saves me a trip plus it offers so many toy and treat options that I would either never know about or never think to even get for my boys.

Ooh Id love to know how you got on with the gobble stopper if you did try it as we've been thinking of getting one for my mums puppy. He's such a greedy piglet he gives himself hiccups! We tried the puzzle bowls but he just sticks his snout between the gaps and snarfles it that way haha!
