PetGiftBox Small Dog April 2016 Review and 50% Off Coupon Code

PetGiftBox is a subscription box that allows you to spoil your pets without leaving the house. I'm pretty much in love with these types of subscriptions because they make my dogs happy and save me a trip to the store.
This month, PetGiftBox collaborated with Dog for Dog, a program that donates an item to help dogs in need with every item sold. With the purchase of this month's PetGiftBox, five meals have been donated to dogs in shelters around the US and Canada. I'm not exactly sure how it works since they don't list any specific charities or human societies they donate to.

In any case, every product in the box is by Dog for Dog! I've encountered this brand before but just had their treats not the toys.

The Cost: $28.99/month-to-month down to $18.99/month if you get a year.

What You Get: Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and other great products that have been hand picked for your pet.

DogsTreat Mini-Duck Treats- These are made in the USA and have no corn, wheat or artificial flavors. I like that the ingredient list is fairly short and that it's made of duck. My dogs tend to do better on exotic proteins.
Value: $7.99

Dog for Dog Plush Puppy- This is a super floppy toy with a squeaker inside. Bugsy removed the squeaker but shockingly has not destroyed the entire toy. Instead he still plays with both parts.
Dog for Dog Crinkle Paw- I'm not sure why but crinkle toys went over a lot better with both dogs when they were puppies. Now they don't seem to care about them much but sometimes I'll find Dexter dragging one around. This is a pretty big toy for my 20lb dogs but it's flat and plushy so it's not a big deal.

Dogsbar Peanut Butter Bar- This is so weird! It's like a granola bar for a dog! And the ingredients look so good I feel like I should try it. This is a portable way to take a dogs dinner with you if you're out and about. I like that idea.
Value: $2.99
Stuff a Ball Treat Toy- I love toys like this. Ones that dispense toys only with great effort. This ball however was too big for Bugsy (my ball-lover dog). He tried to grab it and immediately turned up his nose. Ah, well. This will be donated to my local shelter so it's bound to make someone happy!

VERDICT: I love this collaboration! Three great toys and to treats makes for a good box, in my opinion. PetGiftBox is a great dog box and regularly has sales and coupons that make it affordable. If you're thinking of trying one out with your pups, this is a great place to start. I'm hooked on this form of spoiling my dogs and really appreciate the variety of toys they bring into the house.

If you would like to sign up for PetGiftBox, you can do that here. Use coupon code BITSANDBOXES to get 50% off your first month!
