Popsugar Must Have June 2016 Subscription Box Review and Coupon

Popsugar Must Have is one of my absolute favorite subscription boxes. If you’re going to try a subscription but you don’t want samples, this is the one I recommend. You’ll receive full size products that you can use forever. If you find that you won’t use something you receive, the items are nice enough that you can easily gift them if you need to. Due to the mystery nature of subscription boxes, you won’t love everything 100% of the time but for me Popsugar Must Have comes the closest over and over.

Every box comes with an information card explaining what you’ve received along with a few tips on how to use the products and retail values.

The Cost: $39.95/month

What You Get: Full size, premium products dealing with Home, Fashion, Fitness, Beauty and Food.

Hat Attack Neutral Diamond Print Sarong- This is super thin with a fun pattern on it. I wasn’t super sure about it because it’s so neutral (greige and black) but once I started playing with it, I realized it was a perfect size and thickness to make all sorts of useful coverup options. It also goes well with the hat from Rachel Zoe’s Box of Style, too. I sort of lived in this coverup, the hat and a black swuitsuit for a day or two. One other nice thing? The pattern is very forgiving when it comes to accidentally dripping food on yourself.

Value: $58

Pacifica Underarm Deodorant Wipes- This box arrived right before we left on our camping trip and I totally threw these in one of the bags. And used them! Super easy and effective, too, for the four days we were there.

Value: $9

Sisters of Los Angeles “Cheers” Gold Bottle Opener- A heavy duty metal bar that opens all the bottles and doubles as a meat tenderizer. Just kidding. It doesn’t tenderize meat. But it could. This thing is serious business.

Value: $12

Wild and Wolf Ridley’s Games Room “Who Am I?” Quiz Game- I thought this might be more like Trivial Pursuit with some historical characters in it but it appears to be mainly movie stars and such. Still fun and I might have to take it to Girl’s Night, just for fun.

Value: $13

NCLA Born on the 4th Nail Polish- Red, white and blue glitter in a clear polish so it can be an overcoat as well as a regular polish. I’m pretty miserable at applying polish with glitter, though. I should practice.

Value: $16

Pressels Sriracha- Blech, sriracha. However, Sriracha is my husbands favorite food group so he got (and ate) every single pretzel.

Value: $1.29

Knock Knock Are you Ready for your Close-Up Compact- A great two sided compact with a regular mirror and one with some magnification. Easy to toss in a bag but not so expensive I’ll cry if I lose it.

Value: $10

VERDICT: I love the sarong, the mirror and the wipes, the pretzels got snarfed and the game will be fun (albeit ridiculous). I probably won’t use the polish but the bottle opener is likely to get use or I may gift it. I think Popsugar does a great job of sending interesting, useful and fun products. The value is over $100 and everything will find it’s way to a happy home.
