The theme for this month is "Crunch Cravings" and since that's basically the story of my life, I knew I'd love it instantly. And I did! So much goodness showed up in this box. I even took some of it with me on our camping trip!
The Cost: $13/month
What You Get: Each box will contain 7 new and tasty, hand selected snacks. You can expect something familiar and something more out of the ordinary.
PopCrinkles Popped Potato Crinkles in Sweet BBQ- These were very good, crunchy and tasty at the same time. I shared these with my husband and the bag disappeared pretty quick.
Nang Luong 99 Rice Roll in Taro- I just got one of these in a different snack box and enjoyed it so I was happy when I saw another one. I don't know that I've ever eaten taro before this. I thought it was some sort of potato but it's a root vegetable. If you have "elephant ears" in your garden, that's taro. I had no idea I could eat mine! Apparently the roots and the leaves are quite edible.
Gilliam Old Fashioned Root Beer Candies- I love these! They have a little bit of "bite" to them (like Barq's) and so satisfying. I took these with me camping and they hit the spot.
Big Hunk- As a diehard candy lover, I'm almost ashamed to admit that I've never had one of these. I guess I never knew what it was because it was so good I couldn't stop eating it! Nougat! Yum! It won't be the last one I have, that's for sure.
VERDICT: I always appreciate how Something Snacks has something I've seen before (like Big Hunk) and also things that are brand new to me. They do a great job of combining snacks to give a varied selection so everyone is bound to find something to like in each box.
If you would like to sign up for Something Snacks, you can do that here. Use code BITSBOXES2 for $5 off your first box! That's a deal!
Do you enjoy getting snack boxes? What's your favorite thing about them? Personally, I love the small sizes. I never would eat a whole huge bag of something but snack boxes like this send the perfect size.
