Chococurb Mini Gift Subscription Review and Coupon Code

Chococurb is the chocolate lovers dream subscription. You'll receive a box of quality chocolates from around the world every single month. It's a great way to get a taste of a variety of chocolates and all the tasty bits it can be combined with.

This review is for the Chococurb Mini. Last month my chocolate arrived melted but still delicous. If you ever get a chance to try the Theo Limited Edition Lemon Milk Chocolate bar, grab it immediately. Once it solidified, it was unbelievably good. I did not think it would be as good as it was.
This month, in order to combat the heat, the box was shipped inside a large styrofoam container with ice packs inside. I'm not sure if this is the best solution but it did keep my chocolate from melting. The ice packs were melted but my chocolate was fine. I think the best part about it was that the box was so big it wouldn't fit into my mailbox. Since the mailbox is ten thousand degrees, I don't think anything could have saved it.

The Cost: $20/month

What You Get: Mini- An assortment of 3 specialty chocolates, Regular- An assortment of 5 to 7 chocolates or chocolate related items. These items can come from small, local chocolatiers to more established, national brands.

OwlCrate July 2016 YA Book Subscription Review and Coupon

OwlCrate is a Canadian subscription that sends a great, newly released Young Adult hardbound book along with bookish items. The choices they've made have been stellar so far, usually all books I would choose for myself. This month is a book I didn't even know about even though I love the author! I'm slightly ashamed of that.

The theme for July is Good vs Evil. I find the themes fairly loose but they may just be intended to give a hint about the book and not the rest of the contents.

The Cost: $29.99/month plus $6.99 shipping to US (more internationally)

What You Get: Every crate comes equipped with a top notch, newly released YA novel alone with lots of goodies geared towards bookworms. Goodies consist of jewelry, bookmarks, stickers, prints, toys, accessories, and all sorts of wonderful randomness!

Allure Beauty Box July 2016 Review Plus $5 Off

Allure is receiving a run for it's money now that the Sephora Play box is out. Previously, I could say that the Allure Beauty Box was hands down my favorite box. With Sephora in the mix, it's becoming a toss-up. So far I've been consistently pleased with the brands featured in both boxes and would happily give up Birchbox and Ipsy in order to get both of these.

The Cost: $15/month

What You Get: Five or more deluxe-size beauty samples from a curated mix of skin, hair, and makeup products as well as fragrance.

Society Socks Subscription Review and 50% Off Coupon

Society Socks sends fancy mens socks every month. This is a Canadian subscription that also donates one pair of socks for each sock sold to Covenant House Toronto, a homeless shelter for youth. So if you do subscribe, you'll also be doing a good deed.

The Cost: $16 USD/month

What You Get: Two pairs of funky, stylish socks every month.

Try the World "Brazil" Subscription Box Review and Free Box Coupon

Try the World is a fun specialty food subscription box that features products from a new country with every box. This month the box is packed to the brim with tasty treats and snacks from Brazil. You'll be able to host a great Olympic party with the contents and recipes included.

Every box comes with a sturdy fold out information card that shows you what was chosen and why, along with recipes, menus and tips on how to use what's included. Since the items can sometimes be quite unusual this is very important.

The Cost: $39.99/month or bi-monthly

What You Get: A carefully selected collection of gourmet products most representative of the featured country's cuisine.

Sprezzabox July 2016 Mens Accessories Subscription Review and Coupon

Sprezzabox sends quality men's goods and accessories each month. A stylist will handpick 5-6 different products, all yours to keep. Typical items will include ties, socks, pocket squares, grooming products & more. They also have a shop you can browse if you like what you see but would rather choose your own items than bother with a subscription.
The July box is "The Amsterdam" and was a huuuuge hit with my husband. This is our first Sprezzabox and he says it's one of the best men's accessory boxes he's received so far. High praise, coming from him. He can be kind of snooty about his clothing.

The Cost: $28/month

What You Get: Five to six handchosen items such as socks, ties, pocket squares, grooming products and more worth at least $100.

Cozy Reader Club July 2016 Book Subscription Box

There are a lot of book boxes out there now but they tend to cater to the YA crowd. Cozy Reader Club is for those looking for a more mature box. Not necessarily Young Adult and not filled with little doodads that collect dust on shelves. Cozy Reader Club focuses on sending great books from all different genres (though it's generally women's fiction) and fun useful items for yourself and your home.

I have genuinely loved every box I've received so far. It's *definitely* my favorite for the extras included. I freely admit to a love for good YA but no other box has come so close to being so "me." Know what I mean? I don't really care about plastic figurines and things of that sort. The price reflects the difference, it's true. No book box is cheap, though, I'll say that.

The Cost: $64.95/month plus shipping

What You Get: One newly released women's fiction novel, an artisan coffee, tea or hot chocolate, gourmet treats and beautiful handmade items.

Something Snacks July 2016 Review and Coupon Code

This month, Something Snacks features snacks from all around Asia! Between my husband and I we are really good at eating all the Japanese and Korean snacks we get! This time around there's also snacks from the Philippines and some of the best coconut awesomeness ever from Vietnam.
Something Snacks is committed to providing something unusual and something familiar in every box. It's fun because while there are monthly themes, not everything is too weird to eat and there's usually a great mix of sweet and savory. I am always a big fan of a nice balance between the two.

The Cost: $13/month

What You Get: Each box will contain 7 new and tasty, hand selected snacks.  You can expect something familiar and something more out of the ordinary.

My Texas Market July 2016 Specialty Subscription Box Review and Coupon

My Texas Market is turning one and they've packed up a celebration for the July 2016 box. If you love handmade, artisan foods and goodies galore, My Texas Market is the perfect box. You'll find goods made by Texas that can usually only be found in local farmers markets. If you're like me, farmer's markets are a little slice of heaven and it's difficult not to want some of everything.
Each month you'll receive a selection of goodies from artisans and crafters based in Texas. There is a food focus but you'll usually find one or two non-food items in each box. It's a lot of fun and I really love it because I think Texas has some of the best food ever.

The Cost: $35/month plus shipping

What You Get: A combination of wholesome and homemade specialty food products, handmade candles, soaps, or other beauty products or other health and wellness items and/or sustainably-sourced coffee and tea, unique crafts or locally made chocolates and candies.

Barkbox July 2016 Small Dog Subscription Box Review and Free Box Offer

Barkbox is becoming quite the powerhouse in the pet subscription box sector. It is one of the most popular dog subscriptions out there and they do provide some excellent treats and entertainment for my boys. This review is for the July 2016 small dog box. I have two rat terriers at roughly 18lbs. I find that the toys in Barkbox tend to be appropriately sized and more durable than other boxes. I know "durable" can be subjective. My dogs love disemboweling toys so I've come to expect it but Barkbox does a good job of making sure it doesn't happen two seconds after the toys are out of the box.

The Cost: $29/month

What You Get: Every month you will receive a box in the mail with four or more carefully selected products and presents for your dog – anything from toys, bones and all-natural treats to hygiene products and innovative new gadgets!

Popsugar Must Have July 2016 Subscription Box Review and $5 Off Coupon

The Popsugar Must Have box is one of my favorite subscriptions. It's on the more expensive side at $40 a box but the contents tend to be pretty fun overall. I've discovered and used a majority of what I've received. Since the focus is on full size products, it's also different than most of the sampling boxes I get. If I ever get tired of subscription boxes, this is the one box I would keep.
This month was definitely not optimal for me but there are plenty more boxes coming up for me to enjoy!

The Cost: $39.95/month

What You Get: Full size, premium products dealing with Home, Fashion, Fitness, Beauty and Food!

Olfactif Premium Fragrance Subscription July 2016 Review

Olfactif is a subscription service that sends three samples of niche, independent fragrances every month. If you love unique perfumes, you'll want to take a look. The unisex fragrances come beautifully packaged, perfect for gifting and storing. I loved their old packaging but the new packaging is even better! It closes magnetically and the insert can be removed to store as many of your past samples as you can fit.
Each month you'll receive an $18 credit for use toward a full bottle on the Olfactif website. It doesn't stack but you'll have a new credit every month.

The Cost: $18/month

What You Get: Three niche perfume samples in 2.25ml spray vials, carefully packaged and sent to your door every month. You'll also receive $18 toward the purchase of a full size bottle for the month.

Popsugar Must Have Mini July 2016 Review and Coupon

The Popsugar Mini box for July 2016 definitely has summer on the brain. Since it's mid summer, that makes sense to me. Right about now is the time when the sun comes out here in Seattle. It's not out today but I can see some blue sky.

The Mini is considered an add-on to the regular box. So the items will be similar but never the same if you choose to get both. Since I am currently getting both, that's a good thing. However, I'm not sure how long that will last. The Mini is a fun idea but the execution, in my opinion, leaves something to be desired.

The Cost: $18.95/month

What You Get: The monthly MINI box will feature two similarly themed full-sized products that will complement the regular monthly Must Have Box. The monthly mini subscription box will include products worth over $30.

Birchbox July 2016 Beauty Box Review and Coupon Code!

Birchbox is one of the premier beauty sampling subscriptions available today. There are more than one million subscribers receiving five or more samples of hair, skin and makeup in their mailbox every month! That's a lot! Aaaand I'm one of them.

Birchbox has currently been worth it to me because of their soon-to-be defunct points program. Reviewing each product earned one dollar to be used in their gigantic online marketplace. Now, that program is being eliminated. Will it still be worth it? I'll find out! I subscribed way back in December for a full year at a ridiculously good discount. I think I paid less than $80 for a full year subscription which was really nice, especially considering the review points that I earned up til now. I just used a huge stash of points to buy myself some Tom's sunglasses from the shop, too. I looove them!

In any case, it looks like Birchbox is planning new ways to woo their customers. While 100 point coupon codes have been extinct the last six months, one has been found! Two actually! New subscribers can get 100 points in their account (that's $10!) when they sign up using code FREE100. If you sign up for a full year, use code FREE200 to get $20 of points in your account.

Anyway, each month you'll get a different set of products along with an information card.

The Cost: $10/month

What You Get: Five samples and sometimes full size items, including everything from makeup and skin care to non beauty essentials like candles and tea.

Three Days Only! Get 100 Free Points with a New Birchbox Subscription!

It's been awhile since Birchbox has offered points but this July 2016, you can get 100 free points when you sign up for a new subscription! That's $10 to spend in their shop which is sure to have at least ten things that you probably could use or definitely want. I love their shop!

Birchbox is a beauty sampling subscription program that sends you five different samples every month. You'll get hair, skin and body products and/or makeup, perfume and edible treats. Every month is different so you'll never know what you get!

The Cost: $10/month

What You Get: Five samples and sometimes full size items, including everything from makeup and skin care to non beauty essentials like candles and tea.
 birchbox free 100 points

Sign up here and use code FREE100 to get your points added to your account. If you sign up for a whole year, you'll get 200 points with code FREE200!

You have until July 15, 2016 at 11:59pm to make up your mind!! I think that might be Eastern Time, too.

With the demise of the current points program, this is a welcome offer for sure. They haven't been offering points for subscriptions for awhile now but this is nice, too. You can basically try it for free your first month. If, of course, you find something you want to spend your $10 on in the shop. Which you will. Trust me.

Fine Print: Offer valid for new women's subscriptions only. Codes redeemable on purchase of Birchbox Monthly Rebillable Subscription or Birchbox Yearly Rebillable Subscription. Enter code in Promo Code field at checkout; the points will automatically add to your account once you’ve placed your order. Offers available only on orders placed by July 15, 2016, 11:59 p.m.

PetGiftBox Small Dog June 2016 Review and Coupon

If you have dogs and you're considering a subscription, PetGiftBox is one of the many to choose from. This month features a "Gone Fishing" theme and has two toys and three treats. This composition is pretty much standard with dog subscriptions, though sometimes there might be an extra item tossed in for good measure.
The Cost: $28.99/month

What You Get: A carefully curated, themed box of four to six toys and treats for your pet.

RawSpiceBar June 2016 Kansas City Blends plus Coupon Code

RawSpiceBar sends small packets of freshly roasted and ground spices every month. You'll usually receive three different blends with several recipe cards plus bonus recipes that can be found online. It's a great way to expand your cooking horizons since they can be from anywhere in the world.
The month of June features spices used in the Kansas City area. Kansas is well known for their BBQ though I have to admit I've never tried it. I think the only time I was in Kansas I was on a road trip and I'm pretty sure we didn't even stop. Flat and brown... Here in Seattle, I'll be honest, we don't really have good barbeque.

The Cost: $6/month

What You Get: Three spice pouches, which are enough to create 3 individual dishes serving 4-6 people. The total amount of spices will typically weigh between 1-1.5 ounces each month. You'll also receive recipes and cultural tips and notes.

TeeBlox T-Shirt Subscription Review and Coupon Code

It's hard not to love TeeBlox. I've actually got two subscriptions now. One for me and one for my husband. This month I got my box first. I had chosen the Games category and my first shirt is from Blizzard and features Diablo III on it. Since I've played all the Diablo games, getting this was pretty awesome. Nothing can touch the nostalgia that the original Diablo gives me (except maaaybe Wolfenstein) after spending copious amounts of time playing it by myself and co-op way back in the day.

There's a variety of genres you can choose for your tshirts. It's easy to switch from one to the other from your account, too. I just switched from Games to the new Sci-Fi one they're offering. I switched because they showed these as the teaser shirts for it:
I would LOVE a Rebels shirt. I have really enjoyed that series and I can't wait until the third season starts up. Sites are teasing that it should be around mid July so hopefully soon. What I really want to do is some Sabine cosplay. I'm not sure how good I'd be at making the armor though. Still, she's so awesome.

The Cost: $12.99 plus $2.99 shipping

What You Get: One 100% authentic licensed geek and gamer shirt delivered to your door every month. You'll also get two extra goodies that could be socks, coasters, posters, comic books, decals, stickers, etc.

3B Asian Beauty Box July 2016 Review

The 3B Box is one of the most affordable Asian beauty sampling boxes out there right now. You'll usually receive 4-5 deluxe size samples but many times full sizes have managed to sneak their way in. It's a fun way to try new skincare and beauty products from Korea, Japan and Taiwan. Since Asian beauty typically focuses more on skincare, you'll find more products for your skin and face than you will makeup. It's not that there isn't makeup, there's just not a whole lot of it. Statistics say that Korean women spend 80% of their beauty budget on good skincare and the remaining 20% on make up.

The Cost: $12/month

What You Get: Four to five deluxe size Asian beauty samples from Korea, Taiwan and Japan.

Snakku Premium Japanese Snack Subscription Review and Coupon Code

Snakku is a Japanese snack subscription for those wanting an authentic taste of Japan. You'll find a few popular snacks in each box but the main focus is providing a snack experience that until now, you could only get one tiny shop at a time, traveling through Japan.
Snakku works directly with the shops that have been making snacks for generations. You'll get snacks that have never been shipped off the islands before. Senbei from 300 year old bakers in Kyoto or small cakes made in a Buddhist monastary from a 500 year old recipe. It's like eating a piece of history, carefully and beautifully packed.
Snakku is not inexpensive but the care taken with every detail is exquisite. This is a gift and an opportunity to try goods you will have a hard time finding anywhere else.

The Cost: $38.95/month

What You Get:  You will receive a beautifully packaged box of 10 - 15 expertly curated, hand-picked snacks that you can only find in Japan, along with a selection of familiar Japanese snacks. Information describing the snacks and their creators will also be included.

Snakku has also introduced a Tasting Box that is $14.95 and will have 5-7 curated snacks in it. So if you're looking longingly at this box but $38.99 is prohibitive, this is your chance to experience Snakku much more affordably.

Get a FREE Try the World Box with Subscription!

Try the World is a specialty foods subscription that sends unique and interesting foods from a different country or region of the world each month. The month of July 2016 features edibles from Brazil! The photo is a little blurry but the promotional material mentions a sweet jam, barbeque sauce and cookies. I'm excited about that but I'm even more excited about the current promotion they're running.

When you start your subscription now with the Brazil box, you'll get a FREE Sweden box with this link, too! Here's a picture of the contents of the Sweden Box:
I received the Sweden box not too long ago and I have tried all the contents. While I didn't love everything, the Elderflower syrup is amazing and the lingonberry jam is heavenly! I gave my dad the award winning mustard, though. He loves mustard and he has a Swedish heritage and enjoys getting things like that.

The Cost: $39/month

What You Get: A carefully selected collection of gourmet products most representative of the featured country's cuisine.

If you would like to sign up for Try the World, you can use this link to automatically get the deal with the free Sweden box. If you're reading this after the fact and the deal is over, you can still use code BITSANDBOXES to get 15% off any order.

I've received a few Try the World boxes over the past two years and I've actually fallen in love and reordered several of the products they have sent. There are not many food boxes I can say that about. :) It always makes me happy when it happens, though. Especially when it's something I *can* get more of.

Glossybox July 2016 Spoiler plus Coupon Code

 glossybox july 2016 spoiler coupon
Now's your chance! Glossybox will have a Nuxe Shimmering Dry Oil Huile Prodigieuse in every July box! I have the regular version (no sparkles) and I like it quite well. It doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy at all, even if I use it on my face.

This is a Parisian brand that uses six essential oils, plus Vitamin E, and is suitable for face, body and even your hair! It does have microscopic flecks of golden shimmer that appear to be subtle (not glitter chunks-- who in France wants that?!).

I'm excited to get it and see what it's all about. I'm guessing this is a little mini bottle but a little goes a very long way so it should last quite awhile.

Not only that but Glossybox is offering new subscribers a chance to get TWO extra items in their box! Use code POOLPARTY to get a full size Julep Nail Polish in Myriam and a L'Atelier Maquillage Mascara!

So if you've been on the fence, this looks like a great time to start. There will be six products in the July 2016 box PLUS you'll get the two extra ones with the code POOLPARTY. (While supplies last or until July 31st, 2016; 11:59 pm ET)

Sign up here!! And don't forget the code!
