Something Snacks August 2016 Review and Coupon Code

If you're looking for a snack box that's not too crazy and not too healthy but is maybe a little of both and more, Something Snacks could be just the thing. Every month has both salty and sweet, something international and something recognizeable. In other words, it has a little of everything. It's the perfect sort of box to send someone off in college.

The Cost: $13 total (includes shipping)

What You Get: Each box will contain 7 new and tasty, hand selected snacks. You can expect something familiar and something more out of the ordinary.

Rollo de Coco Candy Roll- This is a roll of coconut. It's sort of like the inside of a mounds bar only not as sweet. And the top was toasted so it was crunchy in places. Pretty good.

Caveman Cookies Tropical Coconut and Macadamia- These were... weird. I think part of it was that I was expecting them to be crunchy and they were soft and chewy.
Calbee Baked Shrimp Chips- My husband loves these but I think they're horrible.

Mrs. Fields White Chunk Macadamia Cookie- Oh, yeah! Who doesn't like these!?
Mic's Durian Cracker- I don't know if I would call this a cracker. I thought it was a loaf of bread. It's made with durian which is an incredibly stinky fruit that apparently tastes great. This was a weird sort of treat. It tasted fine but the texture was so strange. Hard and crunchy yet sticky and flaky. You'd have to try it.
Dirty Kettle Potato Chips in Maui Onion- Not as good as the Kettle Chips onion ones but decent.

Hawaiian Luau BBQ Sweet and Spicy Chips- I ate about four and then my mouth was burning so I gave them to Walker.

VERDICT: I like Something Snacks because of it's variety. While you're probably not going to find Godiva chocolates in it, you will get a collection of snacks to fit whatever mood you're in.

If you would like to sign up for Something Snacks, you can do that here. Use code BITSNBOXES2 for $5 off your first box. It's possible you might get this exact box. It should tell you on the website which one they're shipping.

Have you ever had or smelled durian?
