Faithful by Alice Hoffman- Reading the second review on Amazon gave me the shivers. This is apparently an emotional read which is the best kind sometimes. I know I'm going to cry like a baby. I'll probably have to get up and walk away. But it's not something I can resist.  (spoiler alert) Two girls get in an accident. One walks away, one remains in a coma. This is the story of guilt and redemption.

Townshend's Tea Company Pumpkin Spice Chai- All the spices in your typical pumpkin pie are called upon here to recreate the same effect in liquid form. Cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, clove, nutmeg and black tea. A full-flavored brew and our most popular chai. Yes. Give me all that and I will be in heaven. I can never have enough tea!

Vermont Brownie Company Apple Blondie- Sooooo, you don't get a picture of the actual blondie because I ate it already. This thing is to die for!! Decadent, rich and oh-so-bad for you! It melts in your mouth and it's all the good things rolled in to one. Wow. It's probably a good thing there was only one.

Max Melody Knit Hat- I'm totally into hats now that my pixie cut is starting to grow into an awkward stage. This isn't my favorite style of hat (it's baggy at the back) but it's going to come in handy in Amsterdam over New Years! Yep, going!

Pumpernickel and Wry Vintage Silverware Spoon- Aw! Cute! Handstamped and lustrous, this is almost to pretty to use! I will, though. Made with vintage silverplate spoons, this has a gorgeous patina.

VERDICT: The only downside of this box is the cost. But really it always reaches it's value including shipping and then some, which is great for any book subscription. None of them are cheap but Cozy Reader Club rarely has things that I won't use. Other book boxes, I pay almost $40 and get the book and MAYBE one thing to keep. That doesn't happen with Cozy Reader Club.  This is made for the bookworms like me.
