Heart + Honey Subscription Box Review and Coupon Code

Heart and Honey is a brand new subscription box dedicated to prioritizing your sexual and whole body health. This is definitely not my normal sort of review but I managed to win one of these  boxes in a contest on their Instagram page. (@heartandhoneybox). Based on my knowledge of other boxes of this type, I think that Heart + Honey is probably one of the more tasteful choices out there.
This is actually their very first box and I was very pleased with the contents. There are two sizes available when you subscribe. The first is the BumbleBee box and it is $49.99/month. It comes with a quality sex toy/accessory plus 2-4 sexual and lifestyle products. The larger box is the Queen Bee and it has a luxury sex toy/accessory plus 3-5 premium sexual and lifestyle products for $69.99/month.

I think the one that I got is the BumbleBee box (not positive because there is no notation on any of the paperwork included). The theme for January is "New Beginnings".

Of all the boxes I've received like this, this is the only one I've felt comfortable sharing. Maybe because it feels more tasteful than others. I like that the focus is more on renewal and breathing fresh air into your intimate life. Rather than handcuffs and edible underwear. Know what I mean? I'm not a teenager anymore (thank God!) but it doesn't mean I'm not interested in adding a little zest to our life. I just don't need to spice it up by dumping chili powder everywhere and dousing myself in Tabasco. Subtle is good.
Buddha Tea Sleepy Temple Tea- Sleep is important! Get good sleep and have a great time in bed. Or out, I suppose. :) This is made with jasmine, lavender, chamomile and spearmint. Drink it before bed and get your sexy sleep. Or just drink it because it tastes good!
Value: $9

RareEssence Aromatherapy Candle- This candle is infused with lemongrass, lemon peel and litsea cubeba essential oils. Lemongrass is one of my favorite scents, especially in soap because it's so refreshing. Just bright, clean and rejuvenating. Love it! This smells so wonderful.
Value: $12
Chocolita Strawberry Passion Aphrodisiac Chocolate- Whether chocolate is an aphrodisiac or not, I don't know. What I do know is that this dark chocolate with freeze dried strawberries embedded in it is absolutely fantastic! I barely saved it before taking a photo. Sooo hard to stop once started... ooo... pun? :D
Value: $4
The Chippendales' Diva Massager- I feel safe showing this picture since this massager is so innocuous. It arrived with batteries and has 8 speeds. Heart and Honey suggests using it to start your new year of with health, vitality and passion by increasing your oxytocin and lowering your cortisol. Since 2016 was a doozy, that all sounds pretty good.
Value: $54.99 (price listed on info card but I found it easily for $18)

VERDICT: I admit to a little shyness in posting about this box but the focus on well-being and total health overall makes it a easier. I know there's a market out there for boxes like these. Unbound is one that I think has a great reputation around the internet, too. Although they have a different approach than Heart + Honey. I feel like this box is a great addition to the women's lifestyle subscription box market. While I might not subscribe to a box of this type, I do think that I can happily recommend it to anyone searching specifically for a box focused on sexual well-being. Just keep in mind that this is their very first box. Usually it takes about three months to get a really good feel for a subscription and whether it's a good fit for you.

If you would like to sign up for Heart + Honey, you can do that here. Use code LOVE20 to get 20% off a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription! That's actually a pretty great deal!

What do you think of this box? Too tame? Would you rather have jeweled pasties and mint whip cream? :D Also, Mom, if you're reading this try not to die of embarrassment.

  1. Great review on a box many wouldn't feel comfortable talking about. Honestly, when I saw the name, I got excited because I thought it'd be a box involving honey based products and got excited (haha). Honey indeed!

    1. I love honey! You can check out Just Add Honey. They have a subscription that sends a new jar of honey from an American beekeeper every month. Or if you want all kinds of things, there's The Hive Box. I think I need to try that one!
